Good luck on your new adventures! ❤️I also tendered my resignation two months ago. I’d been with Accenture for 11.5 years and until one day napagod at naburn out ako ng sobra. The pandemic took hit on my mental health too, there’s the pressure on our deliverables sa project at ang napakahirap mag-establish ng rapporteur sa team since remote work setup. Yeah, you’re right, the most important thing is you. The main reason why I decided to step down is to get back my mental and physical health to normal and at the same time rest. Babalik ako sa kanila when I am ready to conquer challenges ulit. I am forever grateful and thankful for the 11.5 fruitful years with Accenture, I never imagined before na mapapadala nila ako for onshore assignment for 5 years. All the best and God bless, Miles! Hi, Tyra! I hope you could find time to reply on my comment coz it would really mean a lot to me. I am a communication arts graduate and I've been planning to shift my career and so I've been thinking to apply as an ASE as well. I have been studying basic programming stuffs but I don't feel confident enough given that I don't have have strong background/experiences. I just wish you could give tips on how I could pass the interview. Or just the application process in general. Thank you so much! Looking forward to hear from you!
@@deandre4542 coding is not a day and night skill to learn. Theres a strong reason why we are highly paid. My advise is just run through the phase. Practice, read and practice. And coding is broad. You have to code backend, frontend, reports, UI, etc. Theres a lot to learn.

Torn apart if I would like to pursue SE or Development as my main job or gagawin ko nalang sideline, since I have a family na kelangan ko buhayin, malaking factor ang salary and benefits when it comes to my decision dagdagan pa if they will allow juniors to work remotely even post COVID. but watching your videos, it helps me decide kung ano makaka buti not just for me but also to my fam.

Slow progress is still progress sir! I have many friends who told me the same experience na parang naiiwan na sila pero I always tell them na assess themselves and talk to their managers kasi baka may something na need iimprove na di natin nakikita sa sarili natin :)

Hello can i actually ask you how you did joined the accenture. Kasi may nag ri recruit sa akin is from Facebook into whats app just wondering if it's legit. Remote siya and every 3days mo ggawin ang project then after that you can actually pay. Sa tingin niyo po legit ba ito ?

True. People think na one big project lang sya pero in reality 1k+ yung sa tech pa lang. Sa 1k+ na yun iba iba pa management, client, teammates kaya iba iba din ang experience ng mga employees :)

been in Accenture for 4yrs pero d ko pinagsisihan ung time na nandun ako and also first BPO ko and sobrang nag enjoy ako walang doubt sa pag grow at pag mold nila ng mga tao specially kung new ka sa industry or environment na un. the best ung company.. nag resign lang due to financial expenses kailangan mag hanap ng mas malaki sahod pero if given a chance na bumalik na malaki sahod i will 🙂🙂

Kung gusto nyo mag Accenture. Be mentally and physically prepared. Sa AcN we work long hours. 10 hrs a day tas my mga endrsment pa so most of the time lumalagpas pa ng ng 10 hrs. Luckily sa project ko di nmn kami on call. Pero sa ibng project on call sila. Tas pede ka din macross skill sa ibng project kung maraminka alam. In short pag mrmi ka aalam. More responsibility. Kung gusto mo pa experience dito ka. Pero dont expect na high ang salary dito. Ang ok dito ung learnings at experience na mukukuha nyo. Pra kang grumaduate ng college pag lumbas ka ng AcN. Ang dame required trainings/certifications.
Yes, agree with everything! That's why I always tell everyone na maganda si ACN as LAUNCHPAD ng career. If they are after better working scheds and faster salary increase better find another option once experienced na :D

I am amazed you want to go back to this company. Just got back working with this company thru an agency. I thought things are different there, boy I was wrong. It is worse than my last 2005 - 2008 stint. Same toxicity with a fresh coat of paint. But i am happy to hear you realized that you need to leave this company.
I'm sorry to hear that. I don't really recommend staying if you feel that way but just give it more time and maybe things will be better. Give it a timeline and if nothing changes, send that notice ASAP.
I had been working at acn for like 8 years (bpo non-voice).. 2 years prior to my resignation nag-aral ako ng IT (2nd course).. grumaduate ako this year and planning to get to work again at acn... sana nga hindi ganun katindi ang burn out/pressure sa ASE haha!

Same idol nagresign din ako last march as CSr at Same na same tayo ng reason idol kaya nagresign about mental health din because of pandemic at dahil nadin sa WFH iba kasi magwork onsite kesa WFH. Yung problema mo sa work pwede mong iwan sa onsite or sa byahe pero yung nag WFH na yung problema mo sa work kasama mo sa bahay nasasama sa problema sa bahay kayang sumosobra yung stess tas burnout sa trabaho tas yung paulit ulit na yung routine. Tas trny ko magleave ng 5days pero pag balik sa work ayaw na talaga ng mind at ng body ko at yun na nag resign nako. Mas inuna ko ang health ko kesa sa previous work ko kasi inisip ko maraming work dyan sa paligid pero yung buhay mo isa lang. Ngayon goods na yung mind ko ulit. Sana ikaw din idol maayos nadin yung mental health mo and advance congratulate para sa upcoming wedding mo.

Left accenture once after 6yrs of being a linux system admin and tried working outside felt that wasnt for me so returned 6yrs ago. Now so happy with my decision as now i am working a big project for the past 6yrs and has been out of the country related to that project. From Linux admin to now cloud admin.
My take is work cycle doesnt end in one company you can look at others and find what fits for you. My thing for leaving ACN was not really related to work burnout but was more on the politicking part of the company which i felt i was part of. Luckily what forced me to return was:
1. I didnt left with a bad rep even though I had my reason to leave didnt talk bad about them so i didnt burn bridges and doors were totally open to return(they do blacklist people i know that)
2. My friends before i left where part of the project i am in and my manager is also a friend that even outside work we hanged out alot(counterstrike, mobile games and drinking :D)

I had the same dilemma. Kapag repetitive ang work parang nakakabobo. So ang ginawa ko, I took certifications. Try mo bro self study then take certifications indi lng new learning but pang paganda rin ng CV.
I actually took a lot of trainings pero not certification haha. Totoo yan, para kang nag adobo araw araw. If the managers don't find something new for you, kelangan ikaw na mismo umaction :D

Cobol mainframe din po ako na assign. this was my 1st job. and after that bootcamp training napunta po ng bench market. Almost 2 months ng hindi pa ako na dedeploy to project. I don't know how to continue po kung ano pang dapat gawin since ung gamit naming emulator is lapsed na, and cobol po is malimit lang gamitin kaya halos wala pong online resources.
Wala rin po akong ka-alam alam sa COBOL although i was an IT graduate. Sa bootcamp, i was one of the what you called nasa Laylayan.
In recent years bumaba talaga demand for COBOL sa ACN. Even nung na roll-off ako sa 2nd project ko na punta ako sa non COBOL capability project. If you are in the bench siguro expect na baka may chance na ma roll in ka sa bagong capab na project or pwede kang mag bootcamp ulit for a new capab. Ganun talaga but we have to be open minded sa ganyang situations :) Kapit lang kapatid. Stay productive sa bench and be proactive in looking in the marketplace para di sayang yung time mo :) Kaya mo yan!
I took BSIT during my college. Yesterday, nakapasa ako sa assessment and final interview. But still sobrang kabado akong sasabak as ASE. Feeling ko po, wala akong alam. Hindi ko alam kung kaya ko bang mag-improve for this kind of work. Sobrang napasubo po ako mag-apply because of pandemic. Alam mo yung kahit wala kang idea sa ganong trabaho eh y not to grab the opportunity lalo na ACCENTURE - direct yung company na papasukan. Sir, parang gusto ko na lang magpa-tutor muna sayo bago ako pumasok 😂😂

Same din naman tayo, wala din naman ako alam and feeling ko wala akong alam nung pumasok ako hahaha. One advice lang siguro is give it time kasi matututunan mo naman lahat ng need mo malaman. Focus on your studies muna. Masyado ka na ahead mag isip nakalimutan mo na present hahaha. All you can do is plant seeds now and focus on the now. Enhance logic and problem solving skills and worry about employment later :)

I've been with ACN for 2yrs. Yes, 2yrs lang kinaya nung powers ko! Sobrang stressful tlga hindi ko kinaya 😂 ang hirap nung project na napuntahan ko at laging OT ang bigat nung workload. Physically kinakaya ko pa pero mentally sobrang pagod nako sasabog na utak ko hahaha.. Accenture is a good company, ang ganda nang benefits, okay ang management, honestly I was with perfect team pero lahat kami stress. Halos lahat nag resign 😂😂😂
Totoo to pero yun nga, parang wala talaga perfect hahaha. I also agree na maganda benefits nila, one of the best. Sana nasa ok ka now na work. Pahinga ka din minsan, use your VLs :D

Hello po. 2 months lampas na po, pending final interview pa daw status ko. Do I still have hope for this? Took the exam last June 30, and had my interview on July 06. It's already August 24, pending final interview pa rin. Thank you po and if you could help me.

Are you pertaining to level 11 (one up from ASE)? Ang alam ko mid level is hindi na binobootcamp ka unless you are assigned by your project to undergo the training. Usually yung mga mid level kasi is expected to have skills na :D Thank you din sa panunuod btw.

May I ask sir if there is really a loyalty cash reward if you retire once you reach 10 years onwards on accenture in service. Thank you sir for the guides.
I am not sure now but from before ang meron if you reach 10, 15, 20+ years is a cash reward pero hindi hefty amount. In terms of retirement, nakalimutan ko na sorryyy.
Hahaha, lagi ko naiisip yung Accenture na yan, yung ka churchmate ko kasi nagwowork jan hahaha. I'm worried sa career ko after grad as an IT "pano na career ko, di naman ako natututo talaga na sure ako na yun talaga field ko" hahaha. Tapos kayo from ECE, from scratch to Software eng. Lupet hahaha sanaol. Or baka nga talagang overthinker lang talaga ko Hahaha.. Have question, ano feeling ng working than schooling? Hahahaha
Sa schooling pwede mag cutting, sa work hindi hahahahaha. Kidding aside, normal naman yang fear or kaba kasi unknown territory sya sayo. I myself feel that way lol but we always have to take risks para malaman natin. Good luck sayo and sa studies mo :D

Nakaka inis yung work from home.. yung iba paranoid.. nag urinate lang ako tapos may nag chat sakin.. sa pag balik ko syempre hindi ko napansin yung notification.. sinumbong ba naman ako agadsa TL ko.. tapos feeling ko pinabibintangan ako ng TL ko na pinababayaan ko yung trabaho.. Nagalit ako sabi ko "sige kausapin natin yung managaer.. at saka wag na din tayo mag work from home" NATAMEME SYA AT NATAKOT AKALA NYA HINDI AKO LUMALABAN.. tapos naging mabait uli.. pero nabanas na din ako kasi syempre mahirap yung walang trust. Kaya nag resign ako pero pinag bakasyon na lang ako.. pero nag hanap ako ng mas mataas ng salary nakahap naman ako pero hirap din kasi nag review review ako uli.. Talo ko pa mga estudyante kaka-aral.. LOL..
Hirap pag Work From Home tapos hindi kayo nagkita ng mga team mates mo physically., Dapat nag kikita din kayo para mabuild yung trust and rapport. then saka kayo mag work from home..

Career shifter kasi ako IT infrastructure engineer po present den i do codes c# windows form at backend .net core api mysql database. Posible po ba e lagay ako sa mid level? Kahit sa ase ung na apply ko.?
Sabi nung mga nakausap ko 2 weeks but give it a month. At sa level naman yes, okay lang lagay mo mid level kasi I think may xp ka naman. Discretion na nila kung hohonor nila yun :)
