    Feels to me that OKM is always interrupting when the other person is talking. You don't need to impose your opinion in the middle of someone's answer. You can do that once they are done.

      That guy too long winded. Talking about his childhood memory and owning so many playstation. Didn't add value to digitalization to the nation.

    With the current instability government situation, there is no way Malaysia able to implemented digital identity like what Singapore have now - i.e. SingPass & My Info, just see how poor PADU is rolled out :(

    • @walauahahaha
      @walauahahaha 3 місяці тому +1

      The security breach on the PADU database previously is definitely dissuaded a lot of people not to fill in the details, plus the targeted subsidiaries related things, especially M40, why people would bother to fill in the details if no benefits or subsidies given to M40, which mostly tax contributors and also mostly knowledge workers in Malaysia.
      If government wants to persuade people to fill in the details into PADU system, they should provide a very clear guide regarding the targeted subsidies things, and not making people life harder as well.

    Digital Transformation CANNOT happen until IT and Coding is taught in the Schools Curriculum up to STPM. Local students need to be coerced or pushed to be computer science literate. If student can PASS at SPM or STPM, MY will increase the talent pool. From this level transgress into ANY Code related IT related matter is simply easy. Consulting in MY requires MATLAB, Tableau, Python and Adobe. Mana ada these skills in Accenture? AI and Machine Learning is taking the lead. The Solution - Collaborate with our brothers in Indian and Indian Tech Cos in Bangalore or Hyderabad. Malaysian Indians like ME can take the Lead. Indian is our HERITAGE so NO One can Mazuk.... We need to BREAK the monopoly of US Corporations on Tech. .

    Lagging behind which country? We have the fastest 5G network in the world. We are the fastest growing data centre nation in Asia, we are moving into fab development in the semiconductor industry. The government is AI based. The country has among the fastest fibre optic internet in Southeast Asia. Why always talk about lacking? What is your agenda here???

      You must be delusional. Have you used 5G before in Malaysia? 5G in Malaysia is a sham. Never consistent, always lose signals. Not nationwide coverage. And you said government is AI based, then why do we still have problems with government payment gateway?

      Biggest, fastest, tallest, strongest by what measure? No point being #1 when the bigger picture is still half done. Economic parity, workforce participation, social equity, healthcare accessibility and availability, educational outcomes across the board etc. They all need to fit together to capitalise on so much potential.

      @@Ltwentytwo I'm talking real world speeds and effectiveness, not hearsay. Have you lived outside of Malaysia for years on end? Trust me the speed and services in other countries in the region are far worse especially in the offices. Ours is still considered very good. I've even worked in Singapore and we are almost on par with them and far far better than the rest of Southeast Asia when it comes to enterprise networks and infrastructure.
