Not gonna lie this is probably the best desk setup I've seen on youtube. Not just the setup itself, but the production of the video as well. And I've watched a lot of desk setup videos.
Dude. The treatment of this video... overall creative style & approach..... the music... mic quality.. hyper-realistic 3D work...(how do you even do that?!).... Graphic treatment... animation.. so good. Desk too 😄
Thanks man! Those opening shots were captured using a LiDAR app on an iPhone. (Luma AI). You are supposed to scan the whole room... but I decided to cut it off after a few seconds... so the AI had to "make up" the rest of the room, and the result is a glitchy fever dream lol. Also, shout outs to the other comments here who successfully guessed it was LiDAR! It's a fun app to mess around with if your phone supports it.
Amazing video, I am currently renovating my music production, Dj mix show desk space and I just dropped 2 21 inch monitors and the mounts you use into an Amazon cart in anticipation of my late 2019 Mac Pro cheese grater mk ll arriving. Definitely stealing the monitor set up idea, it’s perfect for dual screening Ableton live and having a dedicated space for plugins, notes and other miscellaneous things on a third screen. Multitasking sampling and prepping Dj sets for mix show will be easier as well with this setup. Love the use of ikea stuff to make custom furniture, I crafted a pretty stout Dj booth with their parts and their shelf units make dope 12 record holders. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
Killer setup man! Love the new desk mats too. I noticed some wonky warp stabilizer shots, if you haven't tried it yet switch the Subspace Warp to Position, Scale, Rotation and lower the Smoothness to like 5-10%. Sometimes even lowering the Smoothness on Subspace Warp can make it look much less wonky. Hope that helps!
Dude! Thank you for this tip. Those clips were driving me crazy but I could not get the result I wanted. I will be adopting this method for future wonky clips.
making use of LiDAR scan at the beginning and end was very creative bro. im glad to see this channel keep growing because of the quality you put into each video
I'm a WFH guy and I've using a 48" LG C3 for the past 3 months as my main display. 80% of my day is spent in excel and this just makes it so easy to keep track of everything. Almost instant access to info without having to scroll or zoom in or zoom out. I'm definitely going to add two portrait monitors like yours. My only concern is how seemless will things be transitioning to 1080 from 4K. I'm thinking 2 60Hz 4K monitors But I'm worried about the resource drain on the CPU of my Thinkpad and the GPU in my gaming laptop. Either way, totally stealing this look.
Dell UP3017 and two Dell 2007Fp on the left and right side in portrait mode. It actually matches resolution, 2560x1600 and 1200x1600 fits exactly. You get a perfect rectangle of 4960x1600. Whereas with the setup shown in this video, the 4K TV is 2160px tall next to the 1920px tall monitors. The other thing is that 3x4 is way better than 9x16, and stuff just fits way better in 1200px width instead of 1080px width.
I'm planning a new production PC with a 3440x1440 no-curve display. I test drove the monitor for a few days on my daily driver PC that usually runs a 32" 4K display, and it works better for me using PowerPoint, Excel, and editing applications. For 18 months I used a 43" TV on this PC, but when it died I decided to try the 32" from another station, and I like it way better. I didn't realize how much head turning and neck craning I was doing with the 43". This setup looks great, but I sincerely hope you're sitting far enough back to avoid what I went through. Speaker's don't have to be ear height to sound great. Other than the lowest frequencies, sound is directional, so optimization can be achieved by tilting them to the correct angle.
Phenominal Desk Setup. I drew a ton of inspiration from this video, I have a 40" Dell 5k2k Ultrawide and want to bookend it with two vertical monitors I currently have one 27" so maybe another 27" vertical but will need to get a longer desktop so I can upgrade my 3rd monitor and still have room for premium speakers.. Awesome setup but awesome video explaining everything.
replacing wallpaper eveyy 5 minutes is pretty helpful to keep the longevity of the OLED, OLED easily burnt if u keep displaying the same picture, especially if it's bright color
This is such a nice little video. I have gotten a lot of inspiration from it. Thank you for making this and thank you for popping up on my recommended page. Def using this video later on.
Any chance at more sizes for your desk mat? I use a split keyboard, and I also like a bit more mouse space than yours provide, but I like the design of your mat a lot!
Hi, congratulations on the video and setup. Quick question: How do you manage the image? I mean, how does your computer manage three monitors at the same time?
Very nice setup. Though I would say that because it is very similar to the bargain Ikea desk setup I've used since maybe 2012/2013. I used two150cmx75cm Ikea desktops so wider and deeper than the countertop and it only cost about £40 for both desktops. Though I do like a butchers block top. Then the same adjustable legs set high to use as a standing desk. I have a high chair to match desk height, none of this daft moving desk up and down nonsense, which probably saved the cost of a Mac desktop. 😁Plus none are anywhere as big as I needed. I do like the black finish on your legs, mine are silver. I have three A1 cutting mats on my desk to give a more interesting pattern and a usefully more durable layer than the bargain desktops. They hide the join too. I also have a riser on back half of desk which gives me another 50% more space to place everything I need room for, because stuff can fit under and on top of riser. Midi controllers, amps, djing kit, TB4 dock, three monitors, etc 2/3rds of desk is monitors, rest is for other gear/non computer stuff.
Hi! Love the setup! I’m looking to do something similar with the screens but I am afraid of the glossiness of the LG C4 OLED. I don’t want to see myself all day long 😅 How does the C2 feel in that regard ?
Nice. I had to give up on wireless items about two years ago. They just didn't hold a charge long enough for me. I built my own desk setup last year, but I don't have a wall behind my desk to mount the speakers. I have been toying with the idea of hanging them from the ceiling, kind of a drop-down shelf using cables. *shrug- (using cheap wobble desk speaker stands for now)
Your side monitors are portrait mode 1080 x 1920, the main is 3840 x 2160. If you wanted to play a game across them you would have to have a window 1920 high correct (240 pixels not being used main on height)? that would be your max height for window if you spanned correct? 1200 x 1920 or 1400 x 1920 might be interesting too. also if you drag across monitors they the image will not line up correct?
You have an AMAZINGLY AWESOME desk setup. One of the best I've ever seen.....you're missing just ONE thing. Herman Miller Aeron Chair. (get the "gaming" edition...it's the exact same chair as the "regular" Aeron but it comes in a very cool...very black onyx (matte) finish. It will perfect your desk setup 100%. (Check it out online....I think you'll agree with me) I know it's expensive...but look at the cash you've sunk into your amazing desk setup....another $1700 won't be too much more to have PERFECTION. Love your channel.
This is my one big regret with this build. I previously had a standing desk and without it i find myself taking way more breaks to get up and stretch. Maybe i can replace the legs with a standing frame that can handle a ton of extra weight.
I absolutely love your monitor setup. I love it more than the curved ultrawides. Also, just wanted to ask, is the warping effect on B-roll to correct something or on purpose to continually engage the viewers eye on a fairly static shot?
really cool setup! i have the same countertop desk. It's pretty expensive to switch to something like this for me...cuz you need a camera, speakers, etc. I have an m1 macbook pro...not sure if i could drive 120 hz without a displayport.
Nice setup. Been trying to come up with something similar. My only issue is macOS scaling on 42 inch OLED was driving me nuts. Tough to deal with for my eyes so I’m trying a variety of sizes to find the sweet spot for the center monitor. How did you get around the scaling issues?
Hi WFH! If you could release a smaller version of the Triple Slot Deskmat for smaller desks (mostly on the wider side, but also on the longer side a bit), that'd be awesome! I'd buy it again.
I have almost the exact same monitor layout for work and gaming. Only difference i have a 26” ultrawide under the 3 aswell. Was very surprised when i tried the C2 in this way.
Love the setup. I have the same issue with speaker placement because of the Samsung Odyssey G9. However I’ve been thinking about switching to a LG C2 tv recently. How are the fonts on the TV?? I mainly do spreadsheet work and have heard conflicting issue on font reduction with OLED.
I've been using triple 24inch 1080P displays for the last 8 years. I wanted to upgrade my main monitor to 1440P or 4K but don't feel like updating the other 2. Are there any scaling issues with having monitors resolution not match up? Are your side monitors 1080P 60hz?
Remote controls are a must. I'm so happy my monitor - computer monitor - from LG has a remote control. It's way better than having to press those stupid buttons under the screen.
Hello Is your 42” tv sitting on the tv stand or are you using a monitor arm? The issue I am seeing is the vesa mount is 200x300 and there are no arms that support that. If you found something that works let me know. Thank you 🙏
Great question for the main monitor I’m running HDMI directly from the Mac, and then the side monitors are connected with USB C to HDMI cables plugged into a USB hub.

Not gonna lie this is probably the best desk setup I've seen on youtube. Not just the setup itself, but the production of the video as well. And I've watched a lot of desk setup videos.
bro, was gonna say the same thing. Whole vibe of this felt like next level professionalism. Gj
I second this.
OMG - The monitor set up is everything I didn't know I needed.😲
You’re not lying! This setup is SICK!!
Dude. The treatment of this video... overall creative style & approach..... the music... mic quality.. hyper-realistic 3D work...(how do you even do that?!).... Graphic treatment... animation.. so good. Desk too 😄
He’s (most likely) using Polycam app with iPhone Pro or iPad Pro lidar camera for the 3d effect
a refreshing desk setup and creative decisions u have made to make it fit u better. very nice
what the heck was that intro?? props to the editing technique!
It felt like looking at a magiceye poster. very trippy, very cool.
with the desk in focus and the rest looking reconstructed, im GUESSING its a NeRF (neural radiance field) but i could be wrong.
looks like LiDAR on their iPhone or something along those lines. Very easy to reproduce the same using an iPhone depth sensor.
Thanks man! Those opening shots were captured using a LiDAR app on an iPhone. (Luma AI). @@aoife8415 CONFIRMED. Good eye!

Wish you would have talked about and shown your cable management and moniter mounts. Maybe do a short part 2 going over them?
making use of LiDAR scan at the beginning and end was very creative bro. im glad to see this channel keep growing because of the quality you put into each video
Highly recommend the WFH Desk Matt. I've had mine for months now and I love it! It's great quality for the price. So glad you decided to release it

so one thing to keep in mind is that the ppi on your tv is about 91... a 24" 1080p monitor will have an equivalent PPI
That so amazing, it's perfect for productivity, that screen it's the only good things in the world!!!
Thanks for sharing. This is the most elegant and effective multi-screen setup I've ever seen. Well done.
Dell UP3017 and two Dell 2007Fp on the left and right side in portrait mode. It actually matches resolution, 2560x1600 and 1200x1600 fits exactly. You get a perfect rectangle of 4960x1600. I like this setup shape so much!! i have the same display arrangement but a little bit bigger. Center one is 55" OLED 4k and each side is 32" at 1440P

looks awsome man thanks for always making content that makes my day just a little better
As a 50-ish man working in IT, I still enjoy some RGB goodness on my desk (Philips Hue lights and Elgato light strip).
those monitors are so satisfying!
replacing wallpaper eveyy 5 minutes is pretty helpful to keep the longevity of the OLED, OLED easily burnt if u keep displaying the same picture, especially if it's bright color
This is such a nice little video. I have gotten a lot of inspiration from it. Thank you for making this and thank you for popping up on my recommended page. Def using this video later on.
I would have loved to know more about that wooden piece behind your monitors. I totally love it.
Never seen that smaller vertical screen layout before, got to say you might have just nailed the multi screen layout!!
I have 2 monitor but YOURS...I am going to do that. Actually your whole setup is REALLY nice
I love the desk and monitor layout!

Absolutely stunning setup! I love it.
Love this video and setup!! Amazing!
This is really nice man I would like to build something similar soon I might scale down on the Center monitor. Overall beautiful setup man 👏🏾👏🏾

Love this vid bc your monitors are so damn flush with each other
That's clean af, congrats 👌
The firts time you showed the mat I started looking everywhere for it haha thanks for selling it will be buying it.
greatly appreciate the support!
Looks great, Nick! What’s the paint brand/color on the desk wall? I’m looking for something similar. I’d love a video about the wall stuff!
Thanks for watching! I believe the paint color behind the desk is called "Pencil Point" by Behr (Home Depot). (i'm like 90% sure, lol).
...that warp stabilizer tho... lol otherwise great vid, love looking at setups! Props for the functionality!
awesome, would love to have something similiar but with a sit/stand desk
This is my one big regret with this build. I previously had a standing desk and without it i find myself taking way more breaks to get up and stretch. Maybe i can replace the legs with a standing frame that can handle a ton of extra weight.

The two side monitors make a lot of sense. When im not broke anymore i’ll prolly go for the same setup…
really cool setup! i have the same countertop desk. It's pretty expensive to switch to something like this for me...cuz you need a camera, speakers, etc.
I have an m1 macbook pro...not sure if i could drive 120 hz without a displayport.

Where did you get the wallpaper in the thumbnail? It’s gorgeous!
Hi WFH! If you could release a smaller version of the Triple Slot Deskmat for smaller desks (mostly on the wider side, but also on the longer side a bit), that'd be awesome! I'd buy it again.
Nice setup, I would only change the Monitor size (overkill) and switch to Windows(work related).
I have almost the exact same monitor layout for work and gaming. Only difference i have a 26” ultrawide under the 3 aswell. Was very surprised when i tried the C2 in this way.
Are you using Trello board for productivity or something similar? Wasn't able to recognize the program on your left screen but it looked nice
Looks Dope!!!
Now this is the setup i was looking for
I've been using triple 24inch 1080P displays for the last 8 years. I wanted to upgrade my main monitor to 1440P or 4K but don't feel like updating the other 2.
Are there any scaling issues with having monitors resolution not match up?

How about having the left cabin's door open on the right side? It would be a great improvement! 🚪👈
Ain’t gonna lie the monitors made this setup one of my favorite setups
Hello Is your 42” tv sitting on the tv stand or are you using a monitor arm? The issue I am seeing is the vesa mount is 200x300 and there are no arms that support that. If you found something that works let me know. Thank you 🙏
Have you tried calibrating the screens so that the colors are more accurate?
Aesthetic on point
thanks for the inspiration 😈
I hate this channel because it makes me want to redo my office every time there’s a new video.
Same, then I remember my desk barely fits a 14inch monitor and a 75% keyboard and is also built into my wall lol
awesome setup. cheers.
Hi, for the three monitors, do you have 3 cables going from the Mac, one to each monitors, or some kind of split like the one for the speakers/headset
Great question for the main monitor I’m running HDMI directly from the Mac, and then the side monitors are connected with USB C to HDMI cables plugged into a USB hub.

Such a sleek setup
Can you please share the wallpaper you use in the thumbnail? Looks sick!
Classy, I like it with the only exception of Mac... JK!
My main concern is using a TV as main display, maybe one day I'll do the jump to oled and consider it, for now 32" fast IPS will work :)
mayve im getting old but this shit is classy.
How’s the PPI on that monitor? What’s the text clarity like?
This whole video is mad euphoria,of product placements.
Honest question, wouldn't a samsung ark or their 57" inch monitor get the same 'result' ?
Oled have a problem with text pixel wich QLED doesn't so i was wondering if just one big screen would be better or not for hybrid setup.
All in all i love your setup, cool vibe and not stuffy
i just came across the video because of the thumbnail because its the setup i want and now seeing someone else with it makes me wanna do it more lol
I have a 32” monitor and I want to get a 2nd vertical monitor that’s as flush as I can make it. What do yall recommend?
Fun fact, almost all audio professionals position desk speakers at a 45 degree angle. This is pretty standard for stereo mixing
Hi, very nice setup. How big is your room?
the table will sag in the middle with time- even with the 5 legs. ikea desk tops are notorious for this
If that's the Ikea pickup point that I think it is, you're like five minutes down the road from me. Cool.
The only issue, i have mit mac: I cannot change anything. The os look (a bit outdated) is usable.
But everybody should use, what fit best.
Hello.
I also have a similar setup as yours and am struggling to find wallpapers such as yours could you kindly share the source.
Thanks
Very important question, how in the world did you mount your Insta360 link onto your BenQ?
Does it make any sense to switch to an OLED panel for gaming? I'm just wondering, because every OLED I see looks so damn beautiful. I'd want at least 165 Hz though - I don't think 120 Hz is enough for me.
the intro was fire
This, this is it.
It would match a lot better if the two side displays were also OLED. I wonder if there's any that would fit out these days.
...A tidy buro is a sign of a sick mind...💀😁
U flanked 2 FHD monitors to the central 4k? Extended desktops would be a nightmare unless u just live with a vertical 1920 instead of 2160
@06:07 it shows "42' LG C2 OLED" - that is 42 feet? - surely you meant "42" LG C2 OLED" (size matters!) 😇😉
This just means I now need to build a desk setup with a 42 foot monitor 😎
where can I get your wallpaper sir? the one with plants or somethin
How does the OLED tv handle on screen text resolution?
What wallpapers do you use?
Q0 Max 🔥
How do you have the insta360 mounted to the screenbar?
Man looking at the tv and monitors the dimensions aren’t the same yet in the video they look PERFECTLY the same size top to bottom. Am I missing how? It’s like an inch and a half difference..
Has anyone found any smaller monitors with another monitor that fit as cleanly vertically together as this set up?
42 inches is just too big for my set up. I'd love a 27-32 with a second vertical matching up!
Is it really a custom built desk if it came directly from Ikea tho?
Are those side monitors 16:9 or 21:9?
As a 30 something myself, I'm filled with envy.. 😩
What is the paint color of your wall in the back?
