To say I'm in awe Louise would be an understatement. You're such a perfectionist and your workmanship would put many to shame. If you were my daughter I'd be so very proud....and that's coming from a 70 year old geezer! 😂👍
Totally in awe of Louise's skill and the energy you both have!. Bloody hard work. Loved seeing how it's all done and comes together. Living life to the fullest.
Can only replicate what others are saying. Best Channel out there by a country mile. Stopped in the middle of a film to watch you when the notification popped up. Fingers crossed for Christmas. You are obviously on the nice list!
Can honestly say your channel is the first thing I've began to watch religiously in over 20 years. Was usually too busy galavanting. You are a life line for me. You are real and earthy. Sending love and the best for Yule/Winter Solstice from a Welsh Hedgewith. BTW that cottage and land waited and chose you to care for it and it's occupants. The lights in the sky were a celebration for you ❤
I love the pair of you, watching your channel brings a smile to my face. ❤😂 It is very nice of you to say thank you to staff and shops I am sure it is appreciated. ❤
Louise / Emily, your building skills and attention to detail is stunning. I really admire how you are designing, project managing, and ordering materials, while pushing ahead with construction. And then, to cap it all, you are videoing, editing and uploading content. Respect.
Like others, I'm in absolute awe of Lou's forward planning for every detail of this build. She could earn a living teaching apprentices and instilling pride in quality building work. ❤
Astounding! The skills that Louise demonstrates throughout this video are awesome. Her precision, woodworking talent, work rate and determination stagger me. Why isn't she leading the governments plan to build 1.5 million new homes? A privilege to watch the pair of you at work.
I love how you're all helping each other out. You with Sam and Becca's concrete pour and them with your door. Louise, I love how you are an RTFM person. They put instructions with these things for a reason. Check and double check. My kind of girl.
Totally agree, always RTFM and study any data sheets or tech specs when using anything for the first time. Louise ensuring a better build with attention to detail, like considering temperature and performance characteristics. Wish I was her apprentice!
We forget there's a bonus midweek video and then boom here you are! Does anyone else get super anxious about ankles as the team walk across the joists?! Stay safe, girls! N&Nx
Ladies please take a wee break this Christmas you both look absolutely shattered especially you Emily. You have been through so much these last few months please rest ❤ I do hope you all have a very Merry Christmas in your new home I wish you both so much happiness and peace for 2025. God bless you both always 🙏🎄🧑🎄🧑🎄🦮🐈⬛🕊️
@@campervibe Good I’m so glad to hear that Emily I’m worried about you more as you are looking incredibly anemic. I suffer with thrombocytopenia which causes me severe anemia so i can usually see it in people before they do. If you have any vitamin D take it and maybe go and get some blood works done. It’s completely treatable but please please take some time for you Lou and your babies. Sending so much love from Manchester ♥️
I just love this channel and am gobsmacked at Louise’s talent in all things, and Emily’s humour, support and hard work too. We have a saying here in Australia, Run like a girl, drive like a girl etc…I’d say Build like a girl!
How lovely are Sam and Becks?, I wasn't surprised to see them helping you, they are my other favourite UA-cam couple........You guys impress me more and more with every vlog you produce and I love to see you both laughing together as you work, thats the mark of a TRUE couple who are clearly in love.
Hooray Sam and Becca! They are good people. Silly me, I just assumed you put the Tyvec upside down due to serendipity. I like serendipity...it explains most of my decisions in life. Between serendipity and Murphy's Law, I make far fewer excuses or apologies for the directions of my life.
Enjoyed it so much! Can't believe you're still walking, talking and breathing! The whole process, vibe, setting, location, you girls, AJ and Summer and the birds and wildlife, it is precious.
Loving the extra videos girls, I can’t believe you’re keeping the momentum up on the build despite the light and weather challenges. Keep going you’re nearly there and it’s looking fab! Sod the editing just chuck out the footage we’re all behind you and would still watch regardless 😊
I too am in total awe of Lou’s talent and also the amount you have both achieved - just amazing! I am rooted for you to be able to enjoy the space over Christmas and some downtime xx
You Ladies are Amazing, I admire you both. Not phased by anything, unstoppable, determined beyond belief. Hat off, or as they say in France: Chapeau-Bas to you both!!
You two are absolute machines !!!! I don’t know how you keep up the momentum but all I can say, is your work ethic is insane !!!! Be very very proud of yourselves ❤❤❤
Hi Emmely and Louise enjoyed the video, amazing work done. I as a small builder am so impressed by your carpentry skills which come so naturally, kind regards Sean
I’m just in awe of how hard you both work and how much you accomplish! Louise, you’re so skilled! I hope you manage to get sufficiently finished in time for Christmas. Xxx
You have mastered how to be great UA-camrs I’ve been watching for quite sometime now possibly a couple of years or more and you both just got amazing with your editing . Great entertainment , keep up the amazing work with your new home . Happy Christmas girls x
Well done so far. And great to see Sam and Becky popping in to help. It’s great that ye can help each other out when needed. Best of luck in getting weather tight for Christmas so ye can take some time off. And excited to see the cottage progressing in 25
It shows what great work you two have done for your cabin to survive the recent weather , you are both doing a grand job keep up the excellent work and your be in well before Christmas. Thank you for the fantastic videos they brighten up my day.
I am just speechless and amazed at what you two lovely people are doing. I don’t think I have ever seen two more dedicated and hard working women! Your skills knowledge of all things ‘building’ is encyclopedic Louise and your execution is astounding. Love the way Emily supports and helps you, you really are a great team. Good luck with the completion and Merry Christmas x I’m completely hooked on your channel!
We (my husband and I) enjoy your videos so much and we say it every single video: respect!! For the both of you, for the way you keep going, for the great builder that Louise is and the best assistent builder and support team that Emily is! What a team. And editing the videos the way you edit. Which will take up a lot of your time as well. My goodness, you both are so, sò good! RESPECT.
Was great to see Sam and Rebeca are friends of yours. It’s funny when you see other UA-cam channels and you don’t realize that the 2 of you could be near each other.
I first met Tyvek as a waterproof storage thing for art in a museum (the National Portrait Gallery). I thought it was so cool when I first saw a house wrapped in it!
You Pair are amazing. Love your energy. Lovely to see Sam and Bec ,come and give you hand. Little you tube community help is always good. Please dont exhaust yourselves, thats when accidents happen. Take care love your channel
Oh girls, I cannot express just how excited I am for you and how much joy you bring to me. It's absolutely beautiful to watch your synergy and energy. I'm so proud...as if I were your mom, (which I'm old enough to be). Thank you for sharing your journey ❤.
You've done so well girls, and great to see Sam and Becs helping you out. I watch their channel too, and love it. Love having you to watch on Wednesdays too, I bet its so much more work to do Louise, you deserve a well earned rest over Christmas, see you Sunday xxx
You got skills / and your work is commendable and how you are adding your creativity to that old farm house is exciting . You both have that man’s touch with the added bonus of a woman’s touch is priceless - BRAVO to you both 👍
Woohoo! That was epic! Well done, both. I fully understand Louise’s hatred of the big, unsupported tarp. It only takes one gust, or an hour of proper rain, to turn that into a serious problem. We were working inside a pitched roof, which we didn’t want to damage, at the time, so we had problems you don’t have with your build. You can pass them up from outside and trundle them over to the other side, which wasn’t an option for us. You can cut them square, too, rather than having to tailor make each one to suit whatever rafter timber you have to secure to. Bliss! Saying that, though, you’ve set yourself quite a deadline. I’m confident you’ll do it though. It’s a joy to watch you working with your favourite materials, just casually doing things most of us have to spend time figuring out, or more likely, failing to figure out and having to compensate for, later. My stud walls never have the extra stud, for example. I add braces afterwards, to attach the edges of the plasterboard to, in the corners. Now I know a better way and it will probably have knock on benefits, too, with subsequent studs being in the right places without me having to cut a sheet of plasterboard to make it line up. Evening Folks… first off I need to add my total agreement and support to everyone who has commented on Louise’s construction skills and abilities. She’s top notch, even more so that she has to deal with Emms at the same time 😳😳 (joke) but seriously you both, awesome work. As you progress we can feel and sense the lovely, warm, cosy home you are creating. Absolutely wonderful to see Sam and Becs turn up, giving their help and support. That’s just so typical of you all. Always willing to give help and support. It’s those small, yet very powerful interactions that remind us all…it is all about helping each other that matters most. Onwards and upwards girls… You’re not that far away from being warm n cosy this Christmas.. Kind regards… Dave
It’s looking good girls, Louise you have done so well and I really hope you can get everything done by Christmas Eve so you can relax and have a wonderful Christmas. I’ll be cheering you on 😊
Great work on the cabin, well done to you both and your helpers team work, early morning start looked lovely with the Christmas tree in the background 🎄
Absolutely loving your page, I'm like a kid waiting on 🎅 watching you building this cabin, Louise I'm amazed at how you can just put your hand to anything, and the lovely Emily helping you, I take you'll get back to the cottage in the new year, 💛🐾💛🐾💛
I am in awe how much you have accomplished..when you first told us about this idea ..I thought maybe it was one of the Lego type of builds where there is no cutting, nothing goes together in weekend ...but you have built a structure, a home, in weeks....by yourselves. With balancing your materials while standing on a beam..the females watching you are very proud of you both...I'm crossing my fingers you are in by christmas..hugs from 🇨🇦
Looking excellent! So nice to hear positive comments about the 2 companies. So many people ready to complain but not compliment. Well done on everything.
You 2 are amazing. You are better than watching "This Old House " here in the US. Wed and Sun have become my 2 favorite days of the week. Exciting progress!! Louise, I'd hire you in a heartbeat as a general contractor. I'm so impressed with your skills.
Louise you are doing a bloody amazing job I’m so impressed! We having new windows and doors this week and just being here in this mess watching the installer and feeling the cold has been hard going to be doing everything you’ve done in the time through the storms awesome work ladies ❤
Loving this. Great inspiration to a lot of people. Congratulations for what you’ve achieved so far and total confidence in what you’ll do in the future 🙌😃
Best channel on t'interweb. I feel like I've built that house myself without having to leave my couch
🤣🥳❤️
What if you lived next door and there to help 😮😂
😂 Me also.
I've been there too! Lou, if you find my staple gun keep it for me? Don't tell Emily but I may have sneaked a treat from her stash!😊
I know right!… I’m exhausted! 😂
To say I'm in awe Louise would be an understatement. You're such a perfectionist and your workmanship would put many to shame. If you were my daughter I'd be so very proud....and that's coming from a 70 year old geezer! 😂👍

Louise / Emily, your building skills and attention to detail is stunning. I really admire how you are designing, project managing, and ordering materials, while pushing ahead with construction. And then, to cap it all, you are videoing, editing and uploading content. Respect.
I dont know how they do it all - and now we are treated to 2 vids per week - like my Xmas came early 😊
Man I love you two. Practical, doing stuff I want to do and having a laugh at the same time

You're making great progress. Great to see Sam and Bec giving a hand. Good luck for the rest of this week 👏👏👏
You’re definitely in my bedtime prayers, tonight. Though, to be fair, today was pretty calm and not too wet, either, with more of the same promised, so I think you’ll be okay.
9x2 is fun, to get up to wall plate height, but we figured out how to do it. Counter intuitively, what worked for us was for the little person to stay on the ground and pass one end up to the six footer, who could then do the needful. She used a broom to push the other end up, when I was ready to receive it.
Thank you Louise.
Can’t wait for Sunday’s episode, to see how today went…
BTW, it was nice to see Sam and Becky do a little cameo appearance.
Thanks for bringing us along for the ride…
So happy for you and your family to make so much progress on the cabin in the barn❤
A really big project ahead of you both wow 😮
I can't wait to see what it will turn out. What a fast and efficient build. Impressive.
You two are doing a cracking job. I can't wait to see the finished product.
I'm sending positive and endurance building vibes to you two hard working women!
Get your stilts on, Emily!
You two are amazing!
The gradient roof, yes! When they built our schools (eons ago) here in Northeast Louisiana, they thought, "Oh, we don't have snow so let's go flat roof." 😮
They forgot it did rain here. My classroom had a major leak. Thankfully they put up peaked metal roofing before we all rotted away. 😂
So grateful for your hard work. Love your videos. You both are doing a great job. I hope you are in the tiny home before Christmas.
Oh my! My back is aching just watching ya! Absolutely marvelous! Such a great deal done! Stay warm
