@@aretethrowsnation well Powell turns his hips and legs as a unit: Mac separates them. mechanics. Powell because of this gets turned on his left foot all the way around mac doesn't. mechanics. Powell ends up then all of his weight on his left and well balanced to push off. Mac creates a jack knife effect that he uses his weight to get across the circle. mechanics. John goes straight down the circle with a tight sweep he calls sprinting down the middle. Mac goes out wide and comes in. mechanics. John uses his left arm first to get the the power position and gets it out of the way faster in the finish without his shoulder making it so he doesn't pull forward off of his right leg. Mac opens together pulling him off his right leg most of the time. In his WR he uses his left arm first and it doesn't pull him off his right. mechanics. John hits a very quick block in his finish by pushing with his legs then rotating into his left leg using his whole left side as a pole his right rotates around to add length to his arms. Mac Rotates and then lifts and sticks his left leg straight out getting a great block in to a right arm rip. mechanics

Coach, Mueller's release does look a little lower and appears not as mechanically efficient. The two other ladies appear technically similar. This is an insightful topic. However, body type may influence technique?

Hey coach I am 12 and I throw the 6 pound ball about 45 and 1/2 feet and I do the glide I was just going to ask if you think I should try the spin in shot put Thanks coach👍

I would say there is no real reason to not try the spin, if your throws coach is able to teach you it of course

I didn't spin until high school so I'd say the earlier you start the better off you'll be. And get as much high level coaching as possible. Like college throwing camps, or Private coaching
