I love the content man. Most of the main points you focus on are my main issues. My track season is over but I’ll definitely be working on my issues in the off season. I hope to come to yalls Florida camp this summer. Also could you do a video on hip turning drills? That seems to be my biggest problem is it turning my hips properly
Sebastian Hendricks hope to see you in Florida. And we will add some drills to address the hip position throughout the throw. Thanks for the feedback and comment. 💪👊
Coach Erik big thanks for all the advices, one little request, can you give us something about weights ? how to improve legs, core, back, there is so little on the internet to find about that, and for me the strenght behind the tehnique is very important. Subscribed from now on im regular :)
As a M65 1KG RIGHT handed thrower its tough getting my left sector fouls solved. Today in a meet I had a 130' throw but with a left sector foul. I did a standthrow to get on the board at about 100' which was straight down the middle of the muddy field. I followed that with a 135' throw that was a left sector foul by 1 stinking foot. This has been an ongoing problem for the past 2 years and I am really tired of it. It is much worse when I cant warm up enough. A.k.a. any meet you go to but I got there early enough today to do about a dozen throws. Suggestions Arete? Thanks
This happened to me a few months ago I got a massive PB like 85ft a few months ago but it fouled. Now I very rarely foul and almost can get to 100ft as 12 year old
Coach Johnson- We had a girl that kept sector fouling right all the time this year. I couldn't figure it out with balance and proper foot set up as they looked like they were correct. A former thrower for us, who now throws in college, pointed out that girls have smaller hands and they slip out often and sector foul right. He had our girl hold on to the discus a little longer because it was coming out too early. She also wasn't finishing with her arms slapping across her body like you see in all your videos. Probably common sense for you but it worked and she finally kept all of them in the sector and she qualified for state. Just wanted to say that had never heard that one before but it worked. That a common problem? I should also add everything in this video works for our throwers. We had a lot of kids that would jump and foul over the line ALL the time before got them to non reverse. We got them out of that and PRs are start happening. See you guys in Des Moines, Iowa in July!
Best throwing content around great stuff coach thanks
Sasquatch on the loose thanks for the compliment💪

x3m MOTIVATION you are welcome. We will have more videos in that topic soon. 💪
I really need a disc for myself because my school only has 4 and we have 7 throwers for disc
I have also experienced that if you do not block with your right arm at the end properly the throw direction will be wrong.
If you are a lefty you mean, right?
Arete Throws Nation TV yes.
What is most five tips in discus distance big in throw
