It's true and I get why new fragrances are more popular to watch, but it just isn't sustainable at all. Plus, I don't want to have to sell 90% of my collection every 6 months to stay current, or have to buy things that I don't love. I guess the preference for new fragrances also really squeezes out smaller creators who don't get PR. It quickly becomes unaffordable sadly. Thanks for watching Frances 🥰
I do a tray but I change it up every 2 weeks. I find weather and moods can shift a lot over a month. I also like to do themes like all white florals in early spring or all gourmands in fall time. Really helps me appreciate and understand my collection.
Yes, I'm coming to realise that ten over a month is not a huge selection, I wonder whether I will end up reaching for other fragrances. I guess I can adjust it if it doesn't work. I would like to do some themes other than seasonal, I think that would be super fun! Thanks for watching 🥰

Hi Claire, i dont do perfumes trays because all my perfumes are on display. I just keep my room as dark as possible to not ruin my whole collection 😂. For me personally it doesnt make sense to have a tray because my perfume choice depends on my mood and not the weather. I did try it once but it gave me anxiety because i always wanted to wear something else 😂
Yes all of mine are on display in a dark room too! I just thought I'd try a tray and see how it goes. If it isn't for me, I'll change it or just stop, but it's worth a try. I thought having a segregated selection might save me some time choosing in the mornings 😊 If I do find I want to wear something else, I will just go ahead and do it and report back what I choose cos I agree, it is sometimes one particular fragrance that I really want to wear that day and that might not be on the tray. I love what you said about perfumes that "don't really feel like me", or something to that effect. Many people seem to get rid of everything that doesn't feel like "them", but I really enjoy occasionally wearing a perfume specifically because it isn't "me" 😂🥰 It's fun to toy with the concept of it all

I love doing a perfume tray every month. I don’t display my fragrances (I live in a hot, dry, and exceptionally sunny climate), so it gives me the opportunity to have a handful out where I can see them and enjoy them. I also love rediscovering old favorites, like Florabotanica. I’ve been hoarding what’s left of mine, but what’s the point of saving it when it’s meant to be used and enjoyed? You’re right; it does so well in the summer, and it has fantastic longevity. I’ll be putting it on my August tray, too. Thank you for the suggestion!
I can imagine that a tray is perfect for you! Same, I tend to hoard remnants of things that I love that I know I will struggle to buy another bottle of, but yes, it's better to use and enjoy them rather than have them potentially expire. All my perfumes are on a bookcase inside a wardrobe. It gets very hot here in summer. What I have been doing with a tray is putting out a selection of 2&5ml samples from discovery sets and decants I’ve ordered. That way I’m getting through them quicker than if I just had them tucked away out of sight. Alluring Fig and Tea Tonique are summer favourites of mine too😃🇦🇺
That's a great idea! It can take a while to work through discovery sets, collectively those are a lot of fragrance. I'm wearing Alluring Fig today, it's really one of my favourites. 🥰

Hi Jim, it's discontinued but quite easy to find in the UK at least still, Miller Harris sometimes randomly have it on their website too, I've also seen it in TKMaxx. It's truly one of my favourites and one that really makes me feel like me. Id be interested to know how you get on with a tray 🥰

Tea Tonique, I wear it every summer, it is far more complex than it seems at first, pleasant and citrussy tea but yes, I agree with you there is a suedy rather than leathery element, I think you're going to enjoy it. I thoroughly enjoyed this Claire. You reminded me of how much I love Florabotanica and it was not a love at first sniff. I blind bought the 3.4 oz bottle before it was discontinued but my first thought was that I'd made a mistake. I have grown to love it! Not only is the scent so beautiful and complex but the bottle is gorgeous imo. I have it in my spring summer rotation too. I agree that it lasts and can cut through the humidity on these hot days.

I love that you are revisiting older perfumes versus succumbing to the hype around new ones. I remember when i worked across the street from sephora maybe a decade ago and i used to buy one perfume at a time(!!!)..flora botanica was one of those and recently heard another one i purchased in early 2000s (jardin de mediterranee)described as "vintage" on YT, accurate i guess, but just crazy.
Yes 😂 it's crazy. I guess with so many fragrances discontinued within a year of reaching the market, the lifecycle on YT of fragrances does somewhat mirror that. Personally I don't want to declutter things that I appreciate or buy a whole new collection every 6 months, it's not sustainable. I'm very happy to be revisiting the older ones! Thanks for watching 🥰

This year my finances are so tight that I was "forced" to only wear what I have (which is plenty) and I'm developing a new relationship with my collection...it gas been interesting to rediscover smells I already have. Thank you! I loved that Bridgerton app! You just choose a gender and skin tone and then upload a photo, it's easy. Well... I don't actually have a physical tray because I live in a very small house which is full of all my junk already 🤣 I should probably film something though. Maybe I can use a cake stand? 😂 I know what you mean about just enjoying what you have, my purchasing has slowed down massively. The times where I've had my contract end date fast approaching have always made me stop and think and just rein in my spending a bit too. I hope your finances improve 🤞
Pat McGrath did some blushes and things and they were in TKMaxx, I'm sad I didn't buy the blush and highlighter palette now but also I have so much blush!!! Bridgerton has been huge I think. Lush even brought out a Bridgerton fragrance! I've heard that the plug ins from BBW are meant to be great. 🥰

Oh thank you! ❤️ I absolutely love sitting on the stage in ceremonies and cheering on people that I've helped to get a PhD as they accept their own, it's such a lovely feeling to know that I've contributed and passed on knowledge. I think with fragrance, there is so much misinformation and hype out there that it can be really hard to navigate, especially when people are trying to sell you things. I'm not an expert, but I hope never to sell anyone anything, or to make any financial gains based on people's purchases, I just talk about what I love. 🥰

I'm wearing it today because it's going to be so hot. It's gorgeous 😍 I think I also used to strongly prefer the wintery ones but there are some lovely summery fragrances and I guess cos we live in Britain, they just get less time to shine 😂
So glad you're trying this. The first time took me the longest time deciding what to put on the tray 😂. I feel in love with verbena last year; it lasts a bit longer on clothes than on skin but I've already gone through over 50% of my bottle. I must get round to trying Theodoros Kalotonis; Alluring Fig sounds like my cup of tea
Yes 😂 I know what you mean! It took me a while to decide too. Ok, I will try Verveine on clothes because it's not a dark coloured fragrance so it should stain if the mist is fine enough. I can't see me buying a big bottle but if I get another mini with another purchase, I'd be happy, it's a lovely fragrance, did you try any of the flankers? Alluring fig is really worth trying, I find it very summery. 🥰

I bought one for a colleague (I don't remember the name, it had orange) who wears it in the summer. There are indeed a few of them now! But they are continually discontinued and special editions usually each year. 🙂
Well I guess it will be fun to see one being used in reality and a UK summer yes that will be a great mix. Alluring Fig is one of the few figs I enjoy. It's lovely and fresh and green isn't it. That little bottle is cute but yes dabbers are annoying. I do like verbena in real life. Dior is perfect for a Harry Potter day 🤣 who am I kidding I loved dressing up. Though being a mere Bachelor with Honours my outfit was quite dull. Though proudly of Arts 😉. That Tea Tonic sounds OK, I think I'd like the fruity floral touch more. Found at Dusk is such a gorgeous one and takes me back there too. Blackcurrant bushes were common, where do they all go, did Ribena wipe them all out... I have some amazing modern associations with this one too. Yes you make a very handsome chap. I love Èglantier it's quite unlike anything I've ever smelt before. The Neroli is one of the biggest elements to me and somehow I love it. Yes it is a big one. Yes Mugler 🙄 this one wasn't for me at all but at least it was blooming actually interesting and actually Alien. Yes that is a good version of VIW I love the lime in it 😍. It is nice in the warmth. Ah yes the Hermes one I actually quite enjoyed, I think it's a nice line this one. Yes that Florabotanica wasn't a love for me but I can see why it's loved. £200 😆 that tool will be stuck with it a long time. That's a great mix you have for the month. I don't ever talk about new ones 😂 maybe that's where I go wrong. And yes 😊 it's why we watch you. Very normal and balanced and honest.

Hi Claire, I think you have chosen really well for August, allowing for the variability of temperature in the 🇬🇧. Florabotanica is one I let slip through my fingers, I remember being in Debenhams years ago and on the verge of buying it and of course now it’s discontinued. 🤦🏽♀️ I bought violet Ida about a month ago but haven’t worn it yet. The day I bought it I started being ill and I think the one spray I used plus feeling dreadful later seems to have made me not reach for it. Hi Paula, the weather has been very random hasn't it?! I've been waiting for sun and the summer. Florabotanica was cheap and everywhere, then suddenly absolutely nowhere... I feel so sorry that Balenciaga stopped their fragrance line, it was really good. I love Balenciaga Paris too! Oh that association with illness takes a while to get over... I had flu and ate a Toblerone and now I just can't stomach them, even 20 years later. 🤷♀️ Have a lovely weekend 🥰

MMM, Alluring Fig sounds amazing! And I'm keen to try some of that Christian Dior line in general. Miller Harris is on my radar, although it's difficult to find here. Alluring Fig is worth trying. I love how it's green but not bitter. The Christian Dior line is really good, there are some beautiful fragrances there, I really like Gris Dior, but I do have a few things like it. I would like a bottle of Oud Rosewood and perhaps also Belle De Jour (but I think it's been discontinued). Miller Harris, I completely forgot about it, but I'd have to put étui Noir at the top too, those are my favourite three. I would say that the older ones are perhaps more worth trying than the newer ones. 🥰
What a lovely selection for month of August by Dr Claire. I love verbena and mint in hot weather. It give cooling sensation to the wearer when the wearer is feeling hot. From the description, Iles Vierge is like a smell when you are going abroad on summer vacation to play golf or beaches in tropical island. I like how kumquat smells. It is refreshing if you are in tropical or temperate weather like in Vietnam or in China. Maybe i will give a try to Le Jardin de Monsieur Li by Hermes soon. For midsummer night fling in a yacht, any particular fragrance from the collection would you choose? Cant wait for your September (autumn selection) tray!
Thank you! ❤️ Haha, what a situation! The fragrance that always makes me think of yachts and private cruises is Guerlain Terracotta, it always makes me think of sun tanned golden skin. I would probably choose Tom Ford Orchid Soleil because of the chestnut creamy vanilla drydown though, along with the subtle tropical florals and because it's quite unusual.and distinctive, it's sadly hard to find these days though. I wore Le Jardin de Monsieur Li yesterday as it was quite warm here, it felt like the right choice. 🥰

Frances (Happiness Sparkles) made it into a tag, I didn't say in the video because she did that after I recorded, but feel free to do a tray as a tag (or not as a tag 😂) if you want to. I am really curious to see how much I will stick to the ten and how much I will just want to wear other things. I guess we'll see, but ten feels quite restrictive. 🥰
i have about 70 full bottles and I have them all on display in my bedroom on a bookshelf. i need to see them all cuz I know for sure as soon as I pick just 10 for the month, I’m gonna want to wear everything but what is on the tray! 😂

I'm with you, I still mourn all those Muglers that L'Oréal either butchered or discontinued. My favorite is "Innocent" and you can't find it anywhere anymore. I have just about 20ml left and I never wear it but from time to time I get it a sniff from the bottle 😪 I know I should be wearing it but I just can't bring myself to because if I wear it I will loose it forever! 😭
I have a sample of Innocent ❤️ I actually have a lot of samples of the discontinued flankers. I was thinking about a video but wondered whether anyone would be interested given their are hard / impossible to find nowadays. Mugler really made some very striking and reasonably priced fragrances. I remember buying Eau Croisière for less than £30, same with Mirage.... not anymore... Thanks for watching 🥰

It depends on the fragrance, with some, I'm regretting the travel size, others I absolutely know that after 10 ml, I won't want another bottle. I guess I can always buy more when I'm done ☺️ from a space point of view, I love travel sizes though! Verveine is really refreshing but I'm loving Tea Tonique at the moment, it's a really beautiful summer suede, unexpected but it works. 🥰

This summer I’m cherishing Alien Fusion (red bottle) for its tuberose take on Alien and it’s a gorgeous, fresher, more every day cousin to Armani Privé Rouge Malechite IMO. You look amazing as those Bridgerton characters ❤! I always thought you look like a face out of a Jane Austen novel with your beautiful curls and gentle features. What a fun contest.

You are Inspiring ! and I shall try this myself ! It will help me select certain perfumes in my own collection and put them into categories, based on Seasons, moods, special occasions, or work wear, new discoveries & explorations, etc. ! I would be curious to see how you arranged your perfume tray, and perfumes in general ? Do you have them in categories ? How do you choose which perfume to reach out for ? and how do you make the Summer/Winter & other categories selection ? Is it mostly based on lightness & zinginess of scents, vs. a heavier, more hearty deeper scent ? ... Hello Mariel! Thank you ❤️ I'm happy you enjoyed this! I do have my fragrances roughly categorised, they are in light and dark and then within rough fragrance families within that. I also have fragrances that I associate with others fragrances grouped together, but I dont have much room so they are relatively jumbled most of the time with only rough order. I don't technically have a physical tray, I just put my selection on a separate surface and segregate them from the other fragrances. I think I just go with my mood each day and knowledge of what I'm going to be doing as to which I choose. With winter and summer, it's mainly temperature and what clothes I'm wearing too. I do sometimes wear more summery fragrances in winter, for example Coconut Fizz or Angel Eau Croisière or Terracotta when I want to be reminded of summer. I don't think seasons and fragrances are rigidly adhered to with me. I am sometimes quite random in what I choose. Some of the most striking fragrances that Ive smelt on others have been fragrances worn seemingly out of season, eg. Tom Ford Noir de Noir in summer. It's good to revisit our older fragrances and collections I think. I agree about exploring our own perfume collections, and wearing & enjoying them, esp. as we spend soo long choosing them. I like the idea of putting perfumes in scent families /categories .. and then choosing from there. I also go with my mood, type of day, etc. when choosing which perfume to wear, vs choosing according to seasons! In fact, similarly to you, at times I wear heavier, 'winter' scents in summer, and lighter scents in winter, depending on what I feel like wearing that day. I will try out the tray idea! at least in selecting a few perfumes I want to wear for the week. (I also dont have a tray, yet I will put the perfumes I want together in one area. And I think I was also trying to do too much by changing out my easy reaches weekly. I currently have 50ish fragrences. Of that 4 are exclusively date scents (leaves 46), 1 sleep (45), 3 gym (41), 2 men winter (39), 1 more date (38), fall only 3 (36), easy reach 3 (33)... I honestly will have to do a re inventory when I get home

It's true and I get why new fragrances are more popular to watch, but it just isn't sustainable at all. Plus, I don't want to have to sell 90% of my collection every 6 months to stay current, or have to buy things that I don't love. I guess the preference for new fragrances also really squeezes out smaller creators who don't get PR. It quickly becomes unaffordable sadly. Thanks for watching Frances 🥰

I do a tray but I change it up every 2 weeks. I find weather and moods can shift a lot over a month. I also like to do themes like all white florals in early spring or all gourmands in fall time. Really helps me appreciate and understand my collection.
Yes, I'm coming to realise that ten over a month is not a huge selection, I wonder whether I will end up reaching for other fragrances. I guess I can adjust it if it doesn't work. I would like to do some themes other than seasonal, I think that would be super fun! Thanks for watching 🥰

Hi Claire, i dont do perfumes trays because all my perfumes are on display. I just keep my room as dark as possible to not ruin my whole collection 😂. For me personally it doesnt make sense to have a tray because my perfume choice depends on my mood and not the weather. I did try it once but it gave me anxiety because i always wanted to wear something else 😂
Yes all of mine are on display in a dark room too! I just thought I'd try a tray and see how it goes. If it isn't for me, I'll change it or just stop, but it's worth a try. I thought having a segregated selection might save me some time choosing in the mornings 😊 If I do find I want to wear something else, I will just go ahead and do it and report back what I choose cos I agree, it is sometimes one particular fragrance that I really want to wear that day and that might not be on the tray. I love doing a perfume tray every month. I don’t display my fragrances (I live in a hot, dry, and exceptionally sunny climate), so it gives me the opportunity to have a handful out where I can see them and enjoy them. I also love rediscovering old favorites, like Florabotanica. I’ve been hoarding what’s left of mine, but what’s the point of saving it when it’s meant to be used and enjoyed? You’re right; it does so well in the summer, and it has fantastic longevity. I’ll be putting it on my August tray, too. Thank you for the suggestion!
I can imagine that a tray is perfect for you! Same, I tend to hoard remnants of things that I love that I know I will struggle to buy another bottle of, but yes, it's better to use and enjoy them rather than have them potentially expire. All my perfumes are on a bookcase inside a wardrobe. It gets very hot here in summer. What I have been doing with a tray is putting out a selection of 2&5ml samples from discovery sets and decants I’ve ordered. That way I’m getting through them quicker than if I just had them tucked away out of sight.

Hi Jim, it's discontinued but quite easy to find in the UK at least still, Miller Harris sometimes randomly have it on their website too, I've also seen it in TKMaxx. It's truly one of my favourites and one that really makes me feel like me. Id be interested to know how you get on with a tray 🥰

I thoroughly enjoyed this Claire. You reminded me of how much I love Florabotanica and it was not a love at first sniff. I blind bought the 3.4 oz bottle before it was discontinued but my first thought was that I'd made a mistake. I have grown to love it! Not only is the scent so beautiful and complex but the bottle is gorgeous imo. I have it in my spring summer rotation too. I agree that it lasts and can cut through the humidity on these hot days.

I love that you are revisiting older perfumes versus succumbing to the hype around new ones. I remember when i worked across the street from sephora maybe a decade ago and i used to buy one perfume at a time(!!!)..flora botanica was one of those and recently heard another one i purchased in early 2000s (jardin de mediterranee)described as "vintage" on YT, accurate i guess, but just crazy.
Yes 😂 it's crazy. I guess with so many fragrances discontinued within a year of reaching the market, the lifecycle on YT of fragrances does somewhat mirror that. Personally I don't want to declutter things that I appreciate or buy a whole new collection every 6 months, it's not sustainable. I'm very happy to be revisiting the older ones! Thanks for watching 🥰
My favourite summer fragrence atm is Skydive by Gallagher. Its just like a breath of fresch air and so invigorating🥰

Pat McGrath did some blushes and things and they were in TKMaxx, I'm sad I didn't buy the blush and highlighter palette now but also I have so much blush!!! Bridgerton has been huge I think. Lush even brought out a Bridgerton fragrance! I've heard that the plug ins from BBW are meant to be great. 🥰

I think with fragrance, there is so much misinformation and hype out there that it can be really hard to navigate, especially when people are trying to sell you things. I'm not an expert, but I hope never to sell anyone anything, or to make any financial gains based on people's purchases, I just talk about what I love. 🥰

Ooh I love florabotanica 🥰. I've got a big back up bottle in my cupboard. I'm gonna really try hard to wear my warm weather frags more. I prefer the more oud/spicy ones for winter. 😂😂
I'm wearing it today because it's going to be so hot. It's gorgeous 😍 I think I also used to strongly prefer the wintery ones but there are some lovely summery fragrances and I guess cos we live in Britain, they just get less time to shine 😂

I bought one for a colleague (I don't remember the name, it had orange) who wears it in the summer. There are indeed a few of them now! But they are continually discontinued and special editions usually each year. 🙂

Found at Dusk is such a gorgeous one and takes me back there too. Blackcurrant bushes were common, where do they all go, did Ribena wipe them all out... I have some amazing modern associations with this one too.
Yes you make a very handsome chap. I love Èglantier it's quite unlike anything I've ever smelt before. The Neroli is one of the biggest elements to me and somehow I love it. Yes it is a big one.

I bought violet Ida about a month ago but haven’t worn it yet. The day I bought it I started being ill and I think the one spray I used plus feeling dreadful later seems to have made me not reach for it. However it is lovely so I need to start wearing it properly.

Oh that association with illness takes a while to get over... I had flu and ate a Toblerone and now I just can't stomach them, even 20 years later. 🤷♀️

It lends a focus to the ones that spoke to me at the time I pulled them. (I HAVE been swapping out a couple that I am like ummm WHY did I buy this… lol). MMM, Alluring Fig sounds amazing! And I'm keen to try some of that Christian Dior line in general. Miller Harris is on my radar, although it's difficult to find here. I love that you mention it so often. I just made my first fragrance tray, and it was fun and fairly accurate. I have plenty (😅) of decants, so I'll take them on and off the tray. I've missed a few of your videos, so expect random comments on your archive. Edit, typos 🙃
Alluring Fig is worth trying. I love how it's green but not bitter. The Christian Dior line is really good, there are some beautiful fragrances there, I really like Gris Dior, but I do have a few things like it. I would like a bottle of Oud Rosewood and perhaps also Belle De Jour (but I think it's been discontinued).
Miller Harris, I completely forgot about it, but I'd have to put étui Noir at the top too, those are my favourite three. I would say that the older ones are perhaps more worth trying than the newer ones. 🥰

What a lovely selection for month of August by Dr Claire. I love verbena and mint in hot weather. It give cooling sensation to the wearer when the wearer is feeling hot. From the description, Iles Vierge is like a smell when you are going abroad on summer vacation to play golf or beaches in tropical island. I like how kumquat smells. It is refreshing if you are in tropical or temperate weather like in Vietnam or in China. Maybe i will give a try to Le Jardin de Monsieur Li by Hermes soon. For midsummer night fling in a yacht, any particular fragrance from the collection would you choose? Cant wait for your September (autumn selection) tray!
Thank you! ❤️ Haha, what a situation! The fragrance that always makes me think of yachts and private cruises is Guerlain Terracotta, it always makes me think of sun tanned golden skin. I would probably choose Tom Ford Orchid Soleil because of the chestnut creamy vanilla drydown though, along with the subtle tropical florals and because it's quite unusual.and distinctive, it's sadly hard to find these days though.
I wore Le Jardin de Monsieur Li yesterday as it was quite warm here, it felt like the right choice. 🥰

I actually wore Jasmine D Anges today for the first time this year. I don't think I'll ever be a Jasmine fragrance lover, but this pretty little perfume is the exception 👍
Frances (Happiness Sparkles) made it into a tag, I didn't say in the video because she did that after I recorded, but feel free to do a tray as a tag (or not as a tag 😂) if you want to.
I am really curious to see how much I will stick to the ten and how much I will just want to wear other things. I guess we'll see, but ten feels quite restrictive. 🥰

I'm with you, I still mourn all those Muglers that L'Oréal either butchered or discontinued. My favorite is "Innocent" and you can't find it anywhere anymore. I have just about 20ml left and I never wear it but from time to time I get it a sniff from the bottle 😪 I know I should be wearing it but I just can't bring myself to because if I wear it I will loose it forever! 😭
I have a sample of Innocent ❤️ I actually have a lot of samples of the discontinued flankers. I was thinking about a video but wondered whether anyone would be interested given their are hard / impossible to find nowadays. Mugler really made some very striking and reasonably priced fragrances. I remember buying Eau Croisière for less than £30, same with Mirage.... not anymore... Thanks for watching 🥰

It depends on the fragrance, with some, I'm regretting the travel size, others I absolutely know that after 10 ml, I won't want another bottle. I guess I can always buy more when I'm done ☺️ from a space point of view, I love travel sizes though! Verveine is really refreshing but I'm loving Tea Tonique at the moment, it's a really beautiful summer suede, unexpected but it works. 🥰

This was enjoyable going through your beautiful summer selection. I’m sure many of us are with you about Mugler discontinuing so many gems. This summer I’m cherishing Alien Fusion (red bottle) for its tuberose take on Alien and it’s a gorgeous, fresher, more every day cousin to Armani Privé Rouge Malechite IMO. You look amazing as those Bridgerton characters ❤! I always thought you look like a face out of a Jane Austen novel with your beautiful curls and gentle features. What a fun contest.

Do you have them in categories ? How do you choose which perfume to reach out for ? and how do you make the Summer/Winter & other categories selection ? Is it mostly based on lightness & zinginess of scents, vs. a heavier, more hearty deeper scent ? ... It is also very inspiring & empowering to hear you make your own mark, by going back to re-discover some of your own fragrances in more depth, vs. enter the never-ending purchasing wheel, going after that infinite star...

I do have my fragrances roughly categorised, they are in light and dark and then within rough fragrance families within that. I also have fragrances that I associate with others fragrances grouped together, but I dont have much room so they are relatively jumbled most of the time with only rough order.
I don't technically have a physical tray, I just put my selection on a separate surface and segregate them from the other fragrances. I think I just go with my mood each day and knowledge of what I'm going to be doing as to which I choose. With winter and summer, it's mainly temperature and what clothes I'm wearing too. I do sometimes wear more summery fragrances in winter, for example Coconut Fizz or Angel Eau Croisière or Terracotta when I want to be reminded of summer. I don't think seasons and fragrances are rigidly adhered to with me. I am sometimes quite random in what I choose. Some of the most striking fragrances that Ive smelt on others have been fragrances worn seemingly out of season, eg. Tom Ford Noir de Noir in summer.
It's good to revisit our older fragrances and collections I think. We spend a lot of time selecting and buying fragrances for collections and we need to spend even more time wearing and enjoying those choices to make it all worth it ☺️ thanks for watching, have a fab week 🥰

I agree about exploring our own perfume collections, and wearing & enjoying them, esp. as we spend soo long choosing them.
I like the idea of putting perfumes in scent families /categories .. and then choosing from there.
I also go with my mood, type of day, etc. when choosing which perfume to wear, vs choosing according to seasons!
In fact, similarly to you, at times I wear heavier, 'winter' scents in summer, and lighter scents in winter, depending on what I feel like wearing that day.
I will try out the tray idea! at least in selecting a few perfumes I want to wear for the week. (I also dont have a tray, yet I will put the perfumes I want together in one area.

@@dr.claire.perfume Especially when you have so many fragrences that us enthusiasts have. I was getting analysis paralysis with the weekly. And I think I was also trying to do too much by changing out my easy reaches weekly. I currently have 50ish fragrences. Of that 4 are exclusively date scents (leaves 46), 1 sleep (45), 3 gym (41), 2 men winter (39), 1 more date (38), fall only 3 (36), easy reach 3 (33)... I honestly will have to do a re inventory when I get home
