The time travel with Jared Harris as the old Will was nice.
Always great to see him
Frankly, I think Lost In Space is massively underrated. I think it's very unique and full of unapologetically 90's sci-fi elements.
That's cool. I might've liked it if I saw it upon release
I liked it at the time - but the 3rd act is a bit of a mess thou.
Yeah, it does fall apart, quickly
First time seeing your channel, this vid cam up in my feed. I checked some of your other vids. There are virtually no ventriloquist channels. Just a Suggestion... I knew a couple of ventriloquist's once, they believed the fundamental rule, other than being able to project voice, is to present a diametric vocalisation and character with no relevance to yourself. Yet your Puppet character is just a copy of yourself, as in it sounds like you and talks like you and holds the same opinions,... which makes it redundant. Maybe rethink the character voice, personality and opinions to make it in stark contrast to your own, to the point of setting your self up to be in constant conflict between the two of you, and still be friends. That would be funny.
I appreciate this. The thing is, I perform with lots of puppets, and they're all American, or Australian, or English, etc. But Ned is Scottish. I agree that we should have opposing viewpoints though. That's something I often forget when filming 🙈
@@ventmovies No probs.
One thing I found with Ventriloquism, is the Puppet should always work against the status quo, to get the audience to be on the Puppets side, and you have to win the audience over from the Puppet. Like the Puppet is a stark critic and your just the soft guy who like movies, and the Puppet hates every movie you like, and tears every fault and plot hole out of every film you never realised in the plot. Make it the fun in defending the good against the bad. And when a film really is terrible, reverse the situation on the puppet.
The more I think about this, the more I appreciate it. I have a few already recorded/scheduled, but I'll take on board what you said. And if I ever get to the stage where we get a patreon, etc, you're in for free. Lol
A guilty pleasure for me!
I'd probably be the same if I saw it back in the day
Fun video--thanks!
Thanks for watching!! 🙏🏻
