Regardless of the offense, the defense... who was at full strength for this game...was absolutely manhandled by a severely depleted o-line of the Rams..it was EMBARRASSING!
Big plays are just killing us. You give up a 97 yarder last week to Jefferson, and a 50 yarder this week to Atwell. You could argue that is what cost us both weeks.
That’s exactly what cost us both games,
And then multiple dpi calls that were 30 plus yards MULTIPLE that’s unbelievable

If Aiyuk was paid on performance after 3 games he owe the niners money.... dude is a bust. Cut Ronnie Bell tonight and fire the special teams coach. Our D is also terrible, no run D or pass D... Sorensen and Staley need to figure it out! Purdy, Jennings and Mason showed up!!!
Jennings has been overshadowed by the other star players but he's always been clutch. He's my favorite receiver.
Why Shanny refuses to play young talented guys over has-been vets is beyond me!

Center Jake Brendal get bullied every games but yet still got a job. Him and the OL coach need to go. Ward was a non factor. Bosa isn’t a game wrecker and over paid. Bell need to go. Aiyuk isn’t worth the money. Moody is garbage. Purdy and Jennings are the two that actually came to play

It now looks like the Niners should have offered Belichick the head coach and GM jobs. Kyle and his staff blow leads in important games, in the regular season and in the playoffs. Lynch decided to hire an assistant from the staff of the defensive coordinator he let go. Does anybody have any common sense in the organization? Not the owners.
they do the most stupid things, from not addressing the O line, not making moves for a decent corner or free safety, playing old vets rather then the young talent, blowing leads I can keep going 🤦♂️

Sorrenson needs to be fired.
They’ve had plenty of chances to upgrade their db positions through the draft. But, they kept trying to build up the defensive line time and time again. Well that philosophy has bit them in the butt again. Their db’s either hold, get pi penalties or get burned like today. The defensive line did squat with no pressure on the qb or stop the kyren williams (3 td’s). If I’m building a SB team it’s not the way the 49ers are doing it. KC has that blueprint!

That’s why Kyle is not a top coach he won’t play cowling at WR but let him return punts and won’t let Ronnie bell return punts but put him in at WR in critical times in the game when you know he can’t catch. Look at Andy Reid his rookie WR is getting playtime couple plays for him using his speed Kyle can’t draw something up crazy

The problem with that statement is a lot of these guys are Lynch-Shanahan picks, guys who were drafted later. You bring in a new coach who has an idea of the guys they want and it’s rebuild mode. Easy with that sentiment.

I always encourage punting out of bounds on KEY moments in the game. Before the end of half and most definitely on the last possible possession.
Secondly, I hate to say this, but Sorensen has not been an upgrade from Willis… so far.
Thirdly, where the fuck is Cowing? Why isn’t he running that route that Bell did? Bell had a step and inside leverage. I would imagine Cowing could have had two steps and that pass might have been a TD.
Aiyuk is not a 30M receiver to this point…

Of all games to blame Kyle Shanahan, this isn’t one of them. Players need to execute, Moody needs to make that FG and Bell needs to make that catch. That being said, season isn’t over yet but the defense has A LOT to clean up. It’s been bad

They are a slow team. Defense and offense, they're slow. They've been lacking in explosive plays of offense and have been susceptible to the long ball on defense. It's a lack of speed.
