Nice one ,gear box in this engine is m32, earlier versions had issues so called chocolate bearingsl , i do town driving most of the time after relocating ,Fuel economy in A17 DTS is really good , i get 39-42 mpg in town driving only .i had to take it to a spin when dpf regen kicks in otherwise lovely car to drive .
Thanks man👍🏾 after the map, I'm doing mixed driving and see around 41 something, on a long Run and handy driving, I can see around 50-55....but it's mostly around 40 something as handy driving is not very common with myself 😁
Hey what real world economy were you getting pre-remap. I have a 1.7 110hp and I am struggling to average better than 40mpg (even though trip says I'm getting 50mpg) which still isn't great. What way did you work with NCT when you got DPF and EGR delete Thanks
Hey 👋 Honestly speaking, I had never noticed the economy numbers before I actually got the re map done. Only started looking at it after so didn't have anything to compare it to unfortunately. But I think mine stayed between 40-48 too, I did drive it on.... But I had the guarantee anyway that it's not doing a Regen every so often now so was saving that fuel 😂 Regarding the NCT, I passed my NCT no problem the first time 😁
@@noorshah96 I already placed a bigger turbo, the only thing I want to do is increase the exhaust sound you have any ideia how to increase the sound and being road legal?
Oh great, what turbo you go with out of curiosity? If you watch my other video(after remap) I got the dpf gutted and it does makes it one bit louder but not a lot and not sure if that'll be legal where you're. I haven't looked into it too much but maybe have thicker exhaust pipes and back box delete? Diesel don't sound as good as petrols anyway so it'll be a challenge 😁
No it was custom mapped on a Dyno by someone not a chip. And this video is before the remap, there's a different video for after the remap in this playlist.
This car are piece of cheaper materials. Electronic is crap, bearings are crap, everything in this car is very cheap and low quality parts.. Don't buy this car ladies and gentlemens, stay away as much as possible from Vauxhall. Constantly broke down, broke down. Electric problems are common.
I do agree to your statement some bit but not all. I owned this car for over 3 years. While it did have it's share of issues but nothing that couldn't be sorted and all the problems I had were because of my driving style. If you keep on top of servicing, they're not as bad as people make them to be. I would definitely suggest getting the dpf deleted as soon as you get it, will save you a lot of money/issues down the road.
@@noorshah96 I bought this car 7th April this year. Do you know how much I spend for this car? £1800 for ECU and waiting one month for repair. I have experience with automotive industry. Vauxhall, Ford, Volksvagen, Peugeot, Renault and rest of the others car maker are preferred philosophy FASTER, FASTER, FASTER. Always cost quality, parts used during production process. Sad to hear tbh. You mind me asking why did you had to get a new ECU? I agree with what you on the production being faster but cheaping out on parts quality wise. You get what you pay for really. It was part of the GM group up until recently who are known to make "relatively" shit cars as compared to VW or BMW 😔

Problem with my car was CODE 29, 30, 31,32, 34. Indicators working very fast. I swap just one bulb on tailgate, simple bulb causes problems with ECU. I have the same car how did u increase the exhaust noise?
I haven't done anything, it's stock in this video. The GoPro (camera) has picked up the noise louder for some reason 😁
