1:31 I gotta say, while Tomokazu Seki sounds awesome in the anime, this one particular delivery of this line by Sho Hayami it's beyond perfect in my opinion. It's a combination of excitement, gratetfulness and pure love that sounds so right for the context of how Pucci views both Made in Heaven and his love of God.
New VA is cool and i liked him in the anime But Original Pucci VA is just perfect, especially when he says "Made in Heaven" the new one sounds too calm, like it was nothing, older sounds like he should with mix of excitement, gratefulness and Joy for accomplishing his life long task of being the messiah for the new world and exterminating Joestar Bloodline
I honestly prefer the old voice actor almost all the time, the newer VA sounds much too calm for some of the lines, he sounds quite calm when literally activating MIH lol

Totally. I prefer the old voice, but now apart from that being just personal preference, I think a lot of that comes down to how they recorded the new one. Hell, not even exclusive to Pucci, they seem to water down a LOT of the voices for some reason. It doesn't hardly feel like they put in as much effort as they did the first game, which is truly a shame.

I recognized Pucci's old voice but I knew it wasn't Nakata, so I checked and you made a mistake. He was voiced by Joji Nakata in Eyes of Heaven, in the old version of ASB his seiyuu is Sho Hayami. So Pucci's voices are ASB: Sho Hayami (Tokiomi Thosaka) EOH: Joji Nakata (Kirei Kotomine) ASBR/anime: Tomokazu Seki (King Gilgamesh) Truly a heavenly casting.
Yeah, Hayami voiced those characters, but the point is that Pucci shares voice actors with the main villains of Fate/Zero (Kinda, Tokiomi was really hyped up but was incredibly lackluster. Kirei and Gilgamesh delivered though), and 2 of those characters are clear Jojo references.

ASB was made for a console that could be run on 480p TVs with AV cable. The ASBR is a game that is made to run on bigger 4K TVs, so don't need to be that big

I understand the logic used by the dev team in casting Haiyami Sho originally, as Pucci is the final villain, but the sheer intensity Haiyami brings to his roles is more suited for regal, noble characters with an undisputed genius (e.g. Sousuke Aizen), qualities Pucci doesn't share in.
