Watch Bullet Train Now: AAN.SonyPicture...
In Bullet Train, Brad Pitt stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails. Fate, however, may have other plans, as Ladybug's latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe - all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives - on the world's fastest train...and he's got to figure out how to get off. From the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch, the end of the line is only the beginning in a wild, non-stop thrill ride through modern-day Japan.
Haha gotta love how that bottle of fiji water has traveled throughout the movie and is actually what helps save the day.
It's fate
It’s like the Fiji water bottle is a character
I actually found the Water bottle at a market and made a Instagram story about it
It's almost certainly a product placement, but I don't care. Because that water bottle's journey is amazing
Main character
I love how Ladybug is aware of how incredibly unlucky he is with getting into trouble, but seemingly clueless as to how insanely lucky he is in getting out of it. He's just absent-mindedly riding the wave of fate while the White Death is fighting against it
He is Fate's Favored Buffoon.
The term "Luckiest Loser" comes to mind
The reason for the name is in Japanese mythology the lady bug is a creature of great unluck, it takes all of the luck from those around it. It itself is lucky, but all around it will have terrible luck.
The water bottle getting a title and journey had me rolling. Like the bottle
"Solemn stranger, you do not know me well, but I have a story to tell. I was created for but one purpose: to replenish my owner and be reborn into a new life. But what I assumed was my fate was denied to me by unfortunate circumstances. Later, I was given a chance, freed from this limbo. Though, I feared my day would never come. As a result, I heard and saw many horrors, and my purpose was corrupted. When darkness enveloped me, I thought and thought and thought of where everything went wrong and how I could live with myself. And now, as I see myself in hell, I've decided that I will not go down without a fight. That's why, solemn stranger, I beg you: use me as your weapon so that I may guide you to a better life, and with this good deed, free me from this life. I am the Water Bottle. Fate hath brought me here, and now, I end my role as a passive observer and take a stand against the devil himself!!!"
Best Part of Movie at 3:36
Lemon: I got another brother now.
Ladybug: Really.
Lemon: F No.
Lemon: (Tackles enemy off train.)
Tbh, although this Brad Pitt character is hilarious to watch, in universe, I would also jump off a speeding train to avoid spending more time with him.
I thought that part was so out of place and didn't make sense.
@@ryanflippinharrishe might’ve been suicidal after his brother’s passing, hence why he is so surprised to be alive in the next scenes
@giovanni763 nah I meant more like how they did it. It just came across as forced and unfunny to me.
@@ryanflippinharris well yea you kinda need to interpret those scenes to make them make sense, like the build up of his emotions n all that
Lol i love the symbolism of the bottled water, teaches us that the seemingly most miscellaneous thing in the world can end up turning the tide of the situation at the most pivotal moment
So..cherkov’s gun?
Butterfly effect
Fate?
I really enjoyed this movie. It wasn't some deep thing, nor the greatest action movie ever, but it knew exactly what it was and owned it.
I feel that there's no higher praise for a film.
Owned it, flaunted it, squeezed it for all it was worth and had a ton of fun with it. And so did I. Bullet train was so far over the top it became brilliant again.
There's plot armor and then there's an act of God
😂miracle! 😂
It was all the mercy of the Great Water Bottle.
Ladybug luckiest man alive in all the wrong ways
Like the Elder said: Ladybug is his namesake, a vessel of all unluckiness thrown onto one man, who ends up also being the luckiest person ever in the process
There's acts of God and then there's acts of Zod
I just love the look on Brad Pitt's face while hes free falling through the train.....priceless
Ladybug has Marvel Domino's probability manipulation superpower.
He's lucky but makes everyone around him unlucky.
Wolf gets stabbed with his own knife, Hornet killed by her own poison, Tangerine gets an artery in his throat nicked by a bullet that could have gone anywhere, Prince gets hit by a lorry, his handler gets her car crushed.
Leaving immediately and not giving Fate a chance to fuck him too was the smartest thing The Elder could have done.
Well, the elder thinks Ladybug is good luck so long as you're not working against hin
(6:15) "I'll be the first to admit: This did not go according to plan."
All he did never going according the plan..... 😂
"I'll also be the first to admit that plan was written in crayons"
If you liked this movie. READ THE BOOK. Hilarious and full of great characters.
There's a BOOK?!
A book?
Yes the movie is an adaptation of the Book Bullet Train
Honestly alot of the movies you seen are from books
why i already know the story + i rather watch the adaption cuz no one reads books today
@@prod.breadlvr just because you are unable to read books doesn't mean that nobody reads them. nothing revolves around what you *cant* do lol
5:59 let’s talk about this magnificent laugh from Brad here😂😂😂😂
*6:28*
*The BONK takes the cake for me. Had me rolling 🤣😂*
SAME OH MY GOD IDK WHY IT MADE ME LAUGH AS MUCH AS IT DID
I mean it should have actually killed him practically speaking
The water bottle character development is better than what MCU produced in the last 4 years
Loki was fire. What are you on about?
true
I like how the train was literally at 50km/h and still reducing but it looks like they crash at 100km/h at least
The laws of Physics, as applied here, seem to have been somewhat misunderstood throughout the film.
The Bullet Train has shot itself in the foot.
it didn't brake it self. the seed panel is disconnect same as wheels and engine so it did slow down because the accelerator is disconnect but the panel show that speed is dropping because it disconnect the sensor. so that why it show 50 km/h and dropping but sit still going like 100 km/h
@@puwaGT this is not how any sensor evaluation works and proofs the point. Either it is analog and you get a value of voltage or power that directly equals a value (would show zero as zero voltage or power is applied) or digital, which would show the current value based on a set amount of bytes transmitted if the connection still stands. Should digital be disconnected it would either show the last value, an error or zero. In any way, either the displayed value should stick to the last, show zero or an error. The only reason why a loss of sensory data would show this slow drop would be if there was a strong smoothing applied which would make driving a specific speed very hard as you would need to reach the desired speed, then hold it for the speed indicator to catch up and display it. There absolutely is a slight smoothing with digital systems, as no sensor is a hundred percent accurate and they are prone to giving out false values (short time spikes and lows) but the smoothing would not be enough to hold the value so high for so long. However most emergency systems (and I think that the movie displays this, as the breaks seem to engage the moment that the lines are torn out) do indeed break/halt the train/engine/machine when the connection is severed. I rather think that the speed was originally indicated in miles per hour and not in km/h, which would multiply the speed by 1,6.
As a train engineer, I can't even count the many ways this film was unrealistic. The braking, the men on top not electrocuted, the man killed by a signal bridge hanging deeper than the overhead wire should be, the train not stopping without a driver, the train not stopping when it hit the other train upwards and it tore up the catenary, the collision itself on a line with sophisticated train control, and so on. This film was clearly made by and for an American audience who never travelled on bullet trains.
But did you enjoy it? @@Daneelro

I do 👋

So do I. My grandfather, who is half Japanese, loves this song. It's called Sukiyaki by Kyu Sakamoto, who sadly died in a plane crash in 1985.
I was looking for someone else who feels the same
One of my favorite scenes of the entire movie
I love this long tension building just ended simply with Ladybug's "fuck it"
*6:23*
This reminds me of the *CRASH REFERENCE* from *DEADPOOL 2 (2018).*
Both movies are directed by the same director, David Leitch.
6:24 this scene reminds me of a weird dream last year I had while in the hospital with cancer
You ok now broski?
Hope you’re doing good
The whole movie actually a Fiji Water ads 😂😂😂
This movie was so much fun in theaters, they dont make these too often anymore.
Hoping for Bullet Train 2.
I like to think Lemon and Ladybug continually cross paths after this by accident yet continually do things like this
All the while Lemon brings the Tangerine Truck

We need a spin-off movie about the water bottle.
The whole movie are the best scene
Agreed!
The water bottle needs its own spin off movie
We need more movies like this just straight up great action
My favorite part in all of this is the coffee pot crashing into Brad.
This movie shows that some misfortunes are a real gift
I come back every day just for the music
Crazy how many times this movie made me go “Tell me it’s the fuckign mascot”
This movie is too good
David Leitch is amazing
He also directs:

*FAST & FURIOUS PRESENTS: HOBBS & SHAW (2019)*
@@JakeLlavore he should do Transformers
I got another brother now... *smiles*
really?
F*** No...

That is the greatest product placement ever.
It's interesting how the antagonists and the protagonists have opposite points of view about fate; both The White Death and The Prince want to control fate, to the last minute detail, while both Ladybug and the Grandfather accept they can't control fate, however both get differentiated by the fact Grandfather already learnt that, while Ladybug had to learn that throughout the film. Now, don't confuse it with "if fate wants me to die here, then I should embrace it" cause that would just be doing nothing, fate is merely the stuff they couldn't control.

*Kyu Sakamoto - Sukiyaki*

Bullet train dose a masterful thing where it makes the plot convinces part of the theme and meaning of the story. Was the water bottle good luck, bad, or just fate. If some says that’s a plot convince, the you can just say, yeah that’s the point.

The bottle of Fiji water was a true roll or die.
Why nobody is metioning the amazing background music?

Michal Shannon's character is called the White Death not the White Demon.
This Fiji water commercial is CRAZY!!!!!!...
they say White Death, over a dozen times in the movie, and ya still couldn't get the title right?
What if John wick is in the train 🗿☠️??
I wonder if there were people in those houses
They had all been evacuated a week earlier due to the derailment of a train carrying toxic chemicals. Oh wait! Wrong country.
100% they dead, like so many others in this movie
Why The Elder looks like TMNT Shifu, eh....
U mean splinter
I just watched this movie,my little brother said if they ever did a sekiro movie, he would be the perfect actor.
Hiroyuki Sanada is an absolute legend of Japanese cinema.
And he has been in tons of big Hollywood movies also, like ''The Last Samurai'' or John Wick: Chapter 4.
Wasn't his name white death not white demon?
This was a great movie. I hope we get a sequel or just the same universe sometime

I'm confused, does Brad Pitt play a divine being in this movie? Is he "male Domino from Deadpoll 2"?
Sort of? He is both unlucky yet also incredibly lucky at the same time. I think the Elder worded it as him carrying the bad luck of others, giving himself good luck in the process, hence the name Ladybug

Dude has luck in spades, it's just that no one specified what type of luck it was. I do know one thing though, the DM riding jocky over this mess has a massive hard on to find out exactly how much crap this guy can go through without dying. Like Subaru from Re:Zero but on Hardcore mode.
looks like the elder seeks justice for his family and clan. wait a minute! another vengeful being creates his own justice?! god damn you, hanzo hasashi!
