A Pregnant Day in my Life with Gestational Diabetes

Hi there! It's been a while! Well let's say I have been through a lot...
This video doesn't have much to do with art, but it's a very personal one...
On end of May 2023, I found out I was pregnant. It was truly the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced and I didn't have much trouble juggling pregnancy and life despite losing appetite in the first trimester.
Fast forward, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes when I was pregnant at 25 weeks. It came as a total surprise as I didn't expect myself getting it. In the beginning, I was devastated and overwhelmed to say the least, on top of all the self-questioning and feeling of guiltiness if this would hurt my baby. I was literally crying every other day. I was struggling to balance my work, my new diet and lifestyle change, my health and pregnancy. I felt so lost and lonely despite my loving husband and family giving me all the love and support. I ended up losing weight and experiencing the most stressful months ever, both mentally and physically.
But after juggling and figuring out for 1-2 months, I was in such a better state and baby was doing well at a healthy weight. This vlog documents a normal day of my life juggling with pregnancy and gestational diabetes during my third trimester. And this vlog is for all the preggo moms with GDM and I hope it helps you out in some way or other. Thank you so much for watching and sending you lots of love.
