  • In this episode we are fly fishing for Rainbow trout on a nice day in Spring. We fish with good friend GL Britton. We use nymphs to catch and release some very nice fish. A fantastic day in the outdoors of Washington. I hope you enjoy this episode.
Fly Fishing with Ladin's primary purpose is to share fly fishing techniques and places to fly fish in the Western United States. We are a dedicated fly fishing UA-cam channel promoting catch and release fly fishing. Our motto is having fun catching and releasing fish. We want to share our passion with others. We are not professionals. We are passionate about fly fishing but we do not take ourselves to seriously. We show our mistakes, falling in, getting flies stuck in wrong places, loosing fish. The same things that all of us experience fly fishing. We have been fly fishing northwest waters for over forty years. But we are always learning new things that we like to pass along. We think our channel is a great place to get ideas for fly fishing vacations and weekend trips.
Thank you for taking the time to check out our channel and watch our videos. We hope you enjoy them and sure would 👏appreciate your support by subscribing to our channel. Every single one helps. When we lived in Spokane back in the '80's, we would fish the upper reaches of Crab Creek. It was on private land but we had permission (we knew the ranchers) to fish there and had a really great "family day" with our kids. We not only got rainbows, but also german browns. It was a very special time in our lives and we have many fond memories of Crab Creek. 😎👍

Spent a few hrs. bluelining the BLM public access. Water was real low but this looks to hold so much more water.

There are lots of sections of Crab Creek that are open to the public. This was on private land and I am not sure if you can access it anymore. No guiding anymore as far as I know.

I hate when guides handle your fish and release it for you, let me manage my own fish

sure, IF you know how not to damage the fish. Majority of spin and bait fishers DO NOT handle fish well. That is why they quickly killoff all the fish in an area and always want to get specifics on new areas. For example, there are half a dozen clues on the location in the video, but to the gear folk, . . . invisible.

Who do I contact to book a trip?

Sorry Eric but they no longer book trips. But there is great public access for DIY in the same general area.
