DJI SPARK.. not Mavic Spark.. LOL! I'm so sorry that I made so many people mad by saying it wrong ;)
AutoVlog 150 usd for oil change is sound 238 gbp in the UK for a standard 2.0 1 series
Mine costs $450 and my Mercedes c300
AutoVlog lol here in the Netherlands an oil change costs me €250 for my mustang😂
But I do have to say I buy the oil my self and the filter because I they do not have much experience with getting american service parts and oils.
AutoVlog I want it I follow you on instagram and I’m subscribed to your UA-cam the drone can take me to the next level on photography and videos I’m begging for it 😐🙂
go away BACKSTABBER your not welcome here
$152 I just saved you guys from watching 8 minutes of fluff before the reveal.
Thanks
Thanks bro
yeah but I saw this after watching 8 minutes of fluff ..lmao damn
Not bad
Thanks
It took 6:50 minutes to actually get the point of the video....out of 10 minutes.....
thank you I couldn't stand that fuck
Thank you. Stupid guy wasting everyone’s time
Get to the fucking point of the video
STOP WASTING MY TIME
Alex Bachir and you watched ALL 10....LOLOLOLOL
And it cost $152
Mate just wrap your car, its a satin black wrap. will set you back around $1600 for the wrap, it will also protect your paint from stone chips etc. i wrap all my cars, doesn't damage your original paint. And looks great as you can see. Would highly recommend
Nooo don't go satin or matte. Its exactly as the finish, Dull!!
Who are you kidding? Wrapping an entire car costs 3-3500 grand all day.
erm no it doesn't, I've had 3 of my last cars wrapped what u talking about !
But can you do ceramic coating on the wrap..?
152,06 $ for Oil change at a Mercedes Dealer?
That's insanely cheap!
In Germany dealerships want much much more!!!
In Germany they use Oil from Sperm whales in the Mercedes still.
Yea. You will pay at least 500€ here.
$150 is not bad for AMG.
I do it myself on my 2004 S430, w220 model, with Mobil 1 full synthetic and OEM oil filter and costs me around $50 and half hour of my time.
Dimce Gligorov what grade oil do you put in??
Dimce Gligorov vw jetta is $100 lol
If you like the E63 colour so much, just get it wrapped. That will then add some extra protection!
I was expecting $900
Yeah...not too bad for an oil change. You have a good dealership.
Yes that is cheap
@Auto blipper well I will hate to see how much my dodge ram will cost in your home area 😫😫😫
right
Just paid 220 on my c43 in Toronto
I owned a 2008 e63 AMG and sold it as soon as the warranty ran out. Great car though but didn’t wanna take a chance on something going kaboom and having to pay 20k or more for repairs
$150 isn't that bad, all things considered. Just bought a 2018 C63 S Coupe. Delivery is set for 90 days from purchase day. So I'm expecting it 1st/2nd week of March. I'm pretty pumped. Keep up the good work on the channel.
How has the car been, any problems ?
My accord has a running cost of $150 a year.
Jeremy Fowler that’s nice. How much per oil change ? And how often do you do them ?
Yash Shah $40. Every 4-5k miles. Going on 4 years of zero maintenance. Just fuel n oil.
Accord tells you when to change the oil. Mine asks for it every 8-10K miles. Synthetic costs more but it sure does last longer between changes.
You spend 150 a year on maintenance on that accord? Hm ok no transmission fluid change or any suspension components, brakes? Seems like you don't maintain it the only thing your doing is an oil change. Horrible
Bmw M3 e46 nope. None of that. Brakes at 40k? No. Transmission fluid at 40k no. What else ya got? Should I grease my zerks too?
In germany, you have to pay more than 200euros(250$?) for a cheap car to change the oil and stuff.
And 150$ for such a beast to change the oil....i mean thats cheap :D
Good to know :)
yes, exactly. in America a lot of stuff look to be really cheaper.
I had to pay 400eur for my amg
LzzzLT yup, here in Holland for a 3 series BMW they charge like 370 euro’s for this. So 150 dollar is dirty cheap man.
He is from Sweden I am sure he is aware of European prices. That is why he didn't care for the $150.
Here in austria they charge for one hour of work 120€ and one L of oil costs 20-25€ at the Mercedes dealer. Now imagine the price for an oilchange. That car costs with taxes and full kasko assurance around 480€/ month :)
Would be much more than that, sir.
That's a rip off That's just highway robbery. It would seem the more you pay for a vehicle the better and more reliable it should be. Instead they rig it with all kinds of maintenance to fleece the customers. It a car nothing else.
in canada the service interval is every 10,000km or 1 year. You might want to check the manual for the transmission oil change as well because it's usually required way before the first oil change.
Two points: Mercedes losing their touch. Panel gaps out, electronics problem. These should NOT be happening as these are stupid little things. Would a Camry have the same faults? They certainly don't make them like they used to... Secondly, I bet that's Shell Helix oil... or some other premium off the shelf stuff - just with a Benz badge on it. Cherching...
Mike, always cheaper to change the oil than it is to change the engine.
Jeff Meyer Agree! .
only $152? my bmw m5 runs me a $300 oil change bill through the stealerships
Damn..
If you have a problem with paying that amount for an oil change you shouldn't own a Bmw
Fakto Vlog no where does it state I have a problem with it.. just a simple comparison.
I have an M4 and it's paid for by BMW up to 48k miles I would think your M5 would be the same?
Fakto Vlog there are other places you can get cheaper oil change, no one will pay 300 dollars for and oil change even on a BMW
Also just a important note on the subject. Saw a Mercedes SLR last year at the dealership here in Finland. It was for sale for 725,000€ and had 25,000km on it. It was under yearly maintenance and the mechanic told me once a year it goes through service and it costs 10,000€, and takes a few days to do. Insane.
That's just highway robbery. It would seem the more you pay for a vehicle the better and more reliable it should be. Instead they rig it with all kinds of maintenance to fleece the customers. It a car nothing else.
For a high end car that is quite cheap for an oil change. I pay about 350 if I go to the dealer and 250 at a Porsche specialist for my Audis and Porsches. The price includes a lot of detailed checking which is required once a year. You can't just change the oil and ignore the rest of the car.
Here in Germany, 10,000 mile range between oil changes was common from the 1990s on. Some run up to 18,000 miles with the same oil (which i wouldn't recommend, since it's Longlife Service and that's proven to be harmful to e.g. timing chain and valvetrain, Volkswagen did it a lot).
So i wouldn't consider 10,000 miles a lot, even on a high performance car. Plus the fact that we have no speed limit on the Autobahn and still keep the oil in the pan longer than the average American.
Our F-150 over here runs fine with changes every 8-10,000 miles. Greetings
8 grand oil change for the McLaren... I guess I won't be getting one of those anytime soon lol. My next car be around 8 grand
Unflipping real! MB dealership wanted $400 in Calgary, Canada and thats not including resetting the maintenance notification on the instrument cluster which should only take a minute to do. They wanted another hun for that. 152 for your car is cheap and ours is a 2017 GLC.
got to admit that is less than i thought for a dealer to do a oil change on a amg
terry987654.... yeah, l was thinking at least 300$+
just doing 45,000km service on my mk7 gti DSG next month. Estimated cost 1000USD, this includes DSG oil change, engine oil change, filters, sparkplugs and i guess ignition coils. But normaly the oil change at VW costs 350USD. This is in Finland. Seems like many people just buy a car and don't really understand how much it costs to upkeep.
My Suzuki Hayabusa motor cycle cost $275 (Aus) for a 5000 km service at the dealer, which consists of oil ,filter,a wash and check a few things. Took about 25 minutes.
152 thats really cheap... my mb dealer charges me 350 for oil change and i dont have any amg!!!! wtf
mujjuman...Dude...even a Mercedes dealership will hose you...owning a high end car only means they can take you to the bank every time you roll in the dealership...especially if you don't know any better..you could do the oil change yourself for a lot less as long as you use the correct oil and filter
so basically 100 dollars for oil and the filter ( same as my CLK430 but thats ME doing the work on my own car ). But they charge for labor, garage, parts, tools and extra fees. For a super car like this, thats REALLY not bad. Pretty fricken fair.
I change my own OLF on my E class. Less than $100
My oil change is about $375 and I only have a Lexus F-sport.
152 good I pay about $80 oil change for a 06 gs300 lexus
My Tacoma costs me around $60 at the dealer, which is usually $30 or less since I always get it on sale
TacoTom change it yourself for $20 bub
TacoTom mine is 45 at walmart
I paid $30 for my and did it all by myself. Only 15 minutes it took. :)
Jim Taylor ya I could do mine for about 30 but I'd rather just spend 45 and be done in the time it takes to shop
Gregory Perkins I agree. Time is money. Some people’s time isn’t worth much.
I have a 2011 BMW 335d (diesel)... I pay $249 at the dealer, which includes topping off the diesel exhaust fluid.
Gabriel A. My M5 is 290. Just stupid
bmw screws people they where trying to charge me 280 for an oil change and i got them down to 150
I had a 2012 328i sport and my oil change was 190.
I have a 2010 C63, it costs me about $400 here in Canada for an oil change.
Wow a couple of dollars of adblue makes you happy for been shafted by the dealer
My wife and I own a 2018 mercedes c300 night edition coupe. Similar body style but has a less power (relatively speaking) than a c63. I bought the service plan and have 3700 plus miles on the car. I find the $152.00 oil change less than expected. My sister in law has a 2017 Range Rover and she told us that her service ran $500.00. My wife and I chortled about this as our Volvo ran $105 for the oil change. What's odd is that, owning high end cars you tend to baby them. My Toyota pick up gets its oil change at the local mom and pop for half of the oil change listed here.
That being said I think our car is great.
When the warranty is up and you have to pay do it yourself and get ALL your stuff from FCP Euro auto parts on line. You just have to send back the filter and used oil and they replace both free except for the shipping you pay to send it back. That goes for EVERYTHING else, brakes, wipers, fluids, FILTERS etc. I just bought 2 oil filters and 4 bottles of synthetic oil so you always have the extra needed to rotate each oil change. Initial cost is about same or less than a dealer oil change and cost after is cheap shipping. My maintenance costs are very very low
Very lucky for one "oil change" ... in Europe you pay around 340€ to do that ... Mobil One it´s too expensive . You do not need to change the oil every 8000 km. Just change every 20.000 km´s or one year. I know what I'm saying because I work at Mercedes Keep on good work !
Crazy. I can buy the oil and filter for under 100 euros
Barry Britcher we talk about oficial dealers !
+I COME FROM SUN I belive the same, I do my oil changes every 3000 miles no matter what, I currently have 261000 miles on a v6 3.8 I have 10 years with the car and I noticed the engine it is so clean..
+I COME FROM SUN I use just regular valvoline , nothing fancy .. and it works fine..
Well, German cars are for rich idiots. Once you buy them (and pay a fortune), you are in for even more money wasting because they are unreliable in every single way. Same goes for British cars, but they are cheaper. French, Italian, Korean/Japanese are best for the average person, not too expensive to buy and not too expensive to maintain.
You should do the oil changes yourself. Would like to see videos like that.
sekopiski I think if he do it his engine warranty will be voided
No it wont if he uses an OE oil filter and recommended oil.
sekopiski he has to buy the tamper paint to remark the bolts after also. They do it in pink and yellow on most cars to see if they did the work or another shop. Just my two cents. I'm a mechanic and do this for my customers to save their warranties.
Real Richmond i did oil changes at a chrystler dealership, and ive never seen anything like that
The U.S. has "right to repair" laws. Owners are allowed to perform basic service without voiding warranty.
Enjoy it. Down here in Alabama it is $250 for Type A service and slightly north of $650 for Type B
I would say that's a very normal price at dealership for full synthetic oil. My wife's v6 Lexus suv is about $120 out the door for oil change at Lexus dealer. Not bad for changing every 10k miles.
$152 thats not so expensive compared to my Maserati Ghibli costed me close to $500 at the dealership.
RSHALO1316 that is also the resale value on a ghibli isn't it?
HAHAHHAAHAHAH REKT
Say what?
They still make Maseratis?!?!
RSHALO1316.... How do you spell stupid? Use that money to feed some starving people.
My 80k $ land cruiser has a running cost of 1k $ a year without insurance
Toyota > *
And how much depreciation is the car costing you? like 7k$ a year.
You paid $80,000 for a Toyota?
Nick Adams Depreciation barely exists with Land Cruisers lol
Nick Adams Well considering an early 2000s Land Cruiser goes for 40-50k all day on Auto Trader, not much . That Mercedes is losing 7 a year easily . That C63s will be 15k max in 7 years.
I know it’s not the same but you can always have Shane wrap your C63 to the same color as that E63
Yup ;)
Tdriving 610 if
I pay 196 USD for Oil change (300V motul) with oil and air filter including labour at some backyard garage. The car is Audi A5 1.8Tfsi.
You pay less and it’s in MB dealership!!
That sounds more than reasonable from a main dealer. We would pay £150 in the UK ($220) on an oil change. I get my CLK55 AMG serviced at an independent Mercedes specialist and the oil alone is £75 for 7 litres. By the time I add a filter and labour it's well past £100.
thanks for making these videos... i enjoy learning how much maintenance costs for these kind of cars... still can't afford one but good to know how much I need to maintain them down the road.
Nice video that sedan in the dealership was beautiful
nene love Check the 2017 GTI Clubsport at my channel if u like!
What? $152... I pay around $200 for a 2016 ford focus.......$200 for..... focus.
lol what ? Are you kidding ?
KrisTerziev That’s nothing, i paid 500€
Ford Fusion $42
That should be eligible for the $19.95 special lol
He must be on about a service no way it's $200 for a focus?.
Thats why you should only change your oil every 10K miles or once a year, which ever comes first; trust it. I haven't had any issues every since I switched to fully synthetic oil.
This is the kind of stuff that scares me about buying a Mercedes even if I could afford an AMG. Part of it is the amount of oil I'm sure, but I can't imagine what any major repair would cost considering this is about 3x the amount I pay for full synthetic at the dealer.
Well you can afford it with all of these clickbait titles and thumbnails :)
DirtyDan This wasn’t clickbait. His video was about what’s in the title dumb dumb.
Thats why its called click bait.
Yeah, that could have been a 1 minute video.... I had to keep skipping ahead to get to the subject.
I watches a few if vehicle virgin vids... I think your content is better lol
spectre xr1 Way better man,I unsubscribed from that VV a very long time ago. This guy here relates to the average guy.
8:00 your welcome
$150 is not bad at all for a car like that. Back in the day I had a 2008 M5 and the dealership charged me $369 for the oil change.
Mercedes Saudi charges around 600$ for the first service after 15,000 km .. and the number keeps rising up to the major service and start from 600$ back again after the major service... the cars prices are insane (same spec on this video would cost you around 110k$) the funny thing is they get mad when you import your car from the US or Germany and you won't be able to extend your two years warranty but you can get a prepaid service plan for 5300$ (3 years/100,000 km)
Damn. I Pay 29 Bucks At Honda And They Even Throw In A Quick Car Wash 😂 Must Be Nice Tho Nice Car
WHOOO fuck hondas
@@SuperCR45 hondas are pretty good for your wallet
SuperCR45 HONDA. Toyotta for life
We used to have an AMG with a prepaid service plan and they used to wash my parents car after everything
For my CLA250c first oil change was $350 😩 and The one I just had a month ago cost me $965 😱😵
Soul Taker wtf !? Crazy af
Do u own a lamborghini?
damn its cheap in the states! unfair, my a-class oil change change in the 1.6 liter engine cost 420 USD in Sweden
Magnus Sörvik skatt är stöld (:
NEVER EVER Get your Benz oil changed at Walmart, gas station service center, or quick lube garage. An oil change on a Benz is completely different from typical cars. First, the top mounted filter is a multi part replacement where the filter and about 5 different O-rings are replaced. The oil is sucked out of the engine by a Mityvac oil evacuator by a long tube inserted into the oil port found on the back of the engine. Warning: There is no oil dipstick to measure the oil level which can only be monitored by a specific diagnostic screen inside the car dash display. Hence you have to absolutely know how much oil you evacuated and then fill back what you sucked out. It’s very precise. Lastly a typical V6 engine uses approximately 4 to 4.5 qts of oil. My Mercedes V6 engine uses 7.5 qts of Mobil 1 0-40 fully synthetic oil which is a pain in the ass to find.
A guy I knew took his mates Bentley for a service. The cost of the oil on the bill was £250. THATS just the oil. Even though he wasn't paying he did ask what type of oil cost £250 and did it contain liquid gold or some magical properties in it. The total servic bill £1500.00.
One of my Mercs has oil change intervals at 20,000. I do it at 5000. You should also consider getting your trans serviced every 10,000.The myth of sealed for life trans means a shorter life .The fluid can be eye bleeding expensive but it's cheaper than a trans failure in one these.(remember the cost of new engine??)
Mercmad I heard 50k intervals is normal for cars. Also lifetime is a total scam.
Edit: for transmission fluid not engine oil if you couldn’t tell
You're wrong though. It's not the oil.. it says next SERVICE!!!
HELLOOOOOO YOURE GONNA KILL YOUR CAR!!
@@josephsamsor1698 😂😂😂
Arizona Sky what’s funny? He also said he does it at 5k no matter what the thing on his car says
Mercmad those transmissions don’t get service like a regular car they just get reprogrammed or relearnd to your driving preference 😂
It's unbelievable the number of people who watch such gibberish and talking basically bull crap about the same flipping car for the past 6 months
coolandmellow its unbelievable that you would comment on something you have no interest in.
coolandmellow that's true, but you're still here also.😁
Your watching it too idiot puss
the color on ur Amg is better
yeah, didn't particularly find that matte impressive
Also way easier to clean... Check my 2017 GTI Clubsport at my channel dudes!! ;)
3DFX not necessarly actually.
My Fellow Car Enthusiast Please Remember, Never Complain went you Drive what You Want. But He speaks well and doesn't ramble on about off subject things Thumbs Up
At my workplace I service all the expensive cars etc Mercedes, lambo's lexus. It's not uncommon for an expensive car to cost about 130-150$ for an oil change. The last lexus I did was an LS 460 held 9.5l 0w20 and costs 10.99 a l for amsoil synthetic. Filter was 20.00 so there's 124.00 without tax. So just keep in mind the higher the price of the car the more $ it takes to service it
Bumper colour doesn't match the rest of the paintwork.
iVlog all people who buy them care about is thr exhaust going brrrrrrrrrrrrr
It is hard to match the paint perfectly with two different materials. Those two being plastic and metal
It maybe hard as an individual, but it's not too difficult for car makers if they're choosing the right undercoat which it seems they don't bother with these days.
I'm pretty sure thats just the diffuser homie
Not bad price to be fair, it’s higher because Mercedes oil (which is Mobil 1 in a Mercedes branded bottle) is double the price of oil straight from manufacturer, same goes for the filter
I'll be damned if I pay them to put windshield wiper fluid in my car 😎
i wanna win the camera please :) IVE PRESSED THE BELL ICON
It’s a cool car , I’m a car truck guy myself . I personally would not ever want a Mercedes even if I got it cheap. The maintenance cost is not only horrible , but the depreciation is crazy .
old post I know, but $150 was way less scary than I was expecting tbh. My 208 turbo THP engine requires a special synthetic oil, $25 a litre (that's Australian, so about 18 USD), so an oil change including filter is just shy of $200 (roughly 150 USD). I know oil over there is probably $2 a litre haha
Why not change your oil in walmart. It is alot cheaper
Umid Makhmudov 1 word. AMG
LMAO
Better question is why not just change the oil yourself its so fucking easy and you definitely want it done right , Ps: Never take your car to Walmart for any auto service they are idiots.
NEVER EVER Get your Benz oil changed at Walmart. An oil change on a Benz is completely different. First, the top mounted filter is a multi part replacement where the filter and about 5 different O-rings are replaced. The oil is sucked out of the engine by a Mityvac oil evacuator by a long tube inserted into the oil port which requires the entire engine cover, which also houses the twin air filters, to be removed. Cheap oil change price for such an expensive car
Andy Melo "cheap"
Not really that expensive of a car. The C series AMGs are the low end. Not like he was driving an S63 AMG.
I'll keep my grand Marquis it's 20 bucks 😂
Not to mention the tire replacement about every 20k mi. and the price to put pads and rotors usually around 35k-40k mi. Great car though, all the AMG models are awesome.
I followed up ur update with C63 2016 Production and till today you using C63 2017! Congratulation by the way! Feels great to see your journey :)x
150 dollars is cheap!
yes. But the engine change after a few years of changing oil every 60 000km will be expensive.
For a V6 Impala at the Chevy dealership costs 60 and that lasts only 3,500. 150 is not to bad. Vehicle virgins STINKS....trust fund kid...lol
I do not like the matt black color
My SL550 Mille Miglia has the same finish & cannot be waxed. Wash & dry only. I loved it at first, now I hate it.
..
.
Dan R: Ah yeah.. growing up I believed we called that PRIMER! :)
MATTE, you dummy.
In Australia the dealer would charge 4 times your oil change price. I change my oil myself, and it costs me more than your service. That's because Australia is the country that rips you off at every turn.
Welcome to the World of Mercedes $152 is a good deal for a MB dealership oil change.
It didn't inflate as much as I thought it would over the past 30 years.
My c220 not even an AMG has just had an A service - just an oil change it was £450!!! Stop your moaning!
Isaac Wright i saw in some blogs that Mercedes Benz maintenance is less expensive in high end cars. Dont know if its true xd
So early it says there are no views! Hello Mike! 😊
Damn that's early

sdonohue1099 More to enjoy in the video than just that part
You da real MVP
Teebiskit no there is not. useless rambling
sdonohue1099
Thank you! But I was too late, got a lesson in how to turn a 3 min video into forever by going to a Mercedes dealer for an early oil change
What kinda idiots watch and subscribe to this channel? I enjoy cars so I get recommend these videos from this channel. Every single one contains 80% bullshit out of this guy's bald head, and 5% actual information with no substance. Look at this video - just told everyone it cost 150$. What oil was used? How many quarts? Why is the recommended 10k miles? What's the factory fill oil? What internal controls does the car have to monitor oil change frequency? What filter to use? Is it a normal change procedure or needs specialized technique? What viscosity does Mercedes recommend in varying climate and driving styles? That's not even half the questions to answer. Idiots watching idiots in this channel
Actually, that's pretty good price knowing it needs 9 quarts of oil + filter.
I'm sure it's a prime oil too.
If it's mobile 1, should be even more.
Don't complain if you drive that kind of car.
The price of luxury. I have. G35 and 5k miles is my limit, wouldn’t even consider a 10k mile oil change. I tested oil in the navy as my job, diesel truck mechanic primary and automotive secondary. The car manufactures may recommend 10 and 20k mile oil changes but I’m sure the oil companies do not. Either way it’s not the oil so much you have to worry about breaking down as well as the base package or additives, it’s the filter you have to worry about.
My oil change is $40. dexos1 5W-30. 7k intervals. MB is a joke.
what do you want the labour for free talk about a tight ass.
USE THAT CAR TO DRIVE UBER. CAR WILL BE IN JUNKYARD IN 2 YEARS.
Or stick it on Turo?
Just get the oil changed from a backstreet garage or over a gutter😂😂😂
If gutters are ok, you wouldn't mind people dumping the oil in your front yard would you? Too cheap and lazy to recyle your motor oil?
Many of the higher end vehicles use synthetic oil and if it's not changed through the dealer/manufacturer it immediately voids the warranty.
Butch Lane GAWD What Bullsh** - changed through the manufacturer??? WTF! Voids the warranty WTF! DO you just yank shit out of your ass?
@neonRTowner WOW..a response on UA-cam gets you that excited, you must be REALLY unpleasant having to face actual life problems.? You might wanna sit and take a little breather, let that blood pressure settle a little.
You must be one of those road rage hot heads, you know the ones, all worked up and excited, swearing and carrying on at the vehicles in front.? You have a good day now. Try to take it easy.
Please as attached:
"In most cases, it is not a problem to use an independent shop but there is always the risk of error (used an incorrect oil or oil filter) and potential for a catastrophic engine failure while under warranty. You are now liable and the carmaker is exempt from warranty coverage on your car; the new car warranty is null and void.
Now, more than ever before, car makers scrutinize every claim in an effort to save the company money. The smallest reason for denial can be used as a basis for denying the warranty claim. If an independent performs services that should be covered under warranty, the customer spends unnecessary money and the warranty becomes void. Whenever an independent provider recommends a service, you should ask yourself, "Could this be covered under warranty?" Check your owner's manual at this point. If the manual or the independent can't answer the question, it's better to go to the dealer than to spend money that might have been saved. Even more importantly, it's not worth putting your warranty at risk.
Don't mind him...... he's just upset that he dosen't own a AMG, or even a car for that mater....
152.06 isn't so bad for a new benz, I have a 1999 S600 V12 engine, oil change costs me 210 dollars I think it takes 9 quarts of 10W-40 full synthetic the good thing is I do it only once a year I don't drive it a lot it got almost 73000 miles, on the other hand my 2009 S500 costs 120 for oil change both through the dealership.
It actually cost me about $200 (Schedule A) to get an oil change for my C400 sedan here in the DC area. This is with a discount. The price goes up with a Schedule B Service.
Always ask for a discount 😺
Do the oil change yourself and stop whining!

All that cost is for genuine German parts flown in last night on DHL, because you can't use any 'foreign made' parts on a Mercedes (or a BMW) and keep the warranty valid. German cars cost more to maintain than the monthly lease price, and you really don't want to buy one, because they depreciate to $0 in just 4 years so you have to buy another one.
Wow, those prices here in Germany are like 300€ for an oil change and like 1000€+ for a full service. One liter of oil from Mercedes is 30$. 5 mins of labour on an AMG costs like 15$. Yep.. 5 Mins.

Wrap your car!!!
Here in Taiwan, the normal price for the first oil change of a Mercedes C200 is about 350$USD.
That isn't expensive. I have a 2018 BMW X5 diesel and I had just under 1900 miles and like yourself I also didn't want to wait until 10K miles for the first oil change. I took it to BMW of Austin and it came to $208. It was 6 quarts of engine oil and a oil filter. Without my consent they also topped up the urea diesel emissions liquid for $30 which was included in the $208.
Get an Xpel stealth paint protection wrap to get that matte finish without the hassle of matte paint. Extra benefit of paint protection.
I don’t find that an overly expensive oil change, it probably took 9 litres of oil and where I live the good oils cost $70 for 5 litres, less if you wait and get it when it’s on sale.
The 10,000 miles is not for an oil change. It's for scheduled maintenance. At Mercedes-benz.
Surely you didn't think that was the mileage for your oil changes.
My husband is a master mechanic, that's the only way I know.
Plus I have a Brabus Benz.
So I have the same issue with the side marker and the panel on my new 2018 C63 AMG. They are still trying to figure out the side marker but they had to replace my bumper COMPLETELY. I'm so disappointed in Mercedes. Have you had any more issues with the side marker and what did the dealership do to fix it? One dealership is telling me that the bulb is bad (which I know is a lie because it works as long as I don't get the warning) and the other thinks it's the connection.
This car doesn't do much for me, but i do enjoy guys that are passionate about their cars. Cool video, I have Lexus IS 350 AWD and mine oil changes are round $115, so $150 isn't bad in my opinion. Good luck guys!
That's actually cheaper than I thought! 6.3L takes 9.5 quarts of premium oil that cost about $100 just for oil.
I'm sure it will cost me a good amount of money to change the oil in my Porche GT3 Touring, but I love driving and unleashing the power of the car, so it's well worth the money.
