in canada the service interval is every 10,000km or 1 year. You might want to check the manual for the transmission oil change as well because it's usually required way before the first oil change.
At the dealer I work at. Oil Change on a CLA or GLA costs about $140... Think you made out decently here!
My 2005 Camry at 1 dealership cost me $120 Cdn for oil change in 2023. Prices vary from city to city. Crazy. Toronto, Canada
You should just get yours wrapped in matte black it's pretty inexpensive and will actually protect the factory paint as well

That’s cheap cause I changed the oil on my wife’s Q5 and it was over $600 dollars. That’s oil change, cabin filter etc.
I’m subscribed to this channel because seeing that C63 AMG makes me happy. Having any AMG car is my dream, specially the E55 or a CL55 but my 05’ C230 will have to do till’ I can maybe afford an AMG one day 🤞🏽

That's cheap. Maserati 1 year maintenance is $1500 and 2nd year maintenance is $2500. So $4000 every 2 years total to operate. So for having an awesome car it's quite affordable but if you can afford it I'm sure you're not worried about oil changes.

An Oil Change is How Much? : Answer : do it yourself, All oils can last 10,000 Miles, New Fully Synthetics can go up to 15,000, whether you want to is a different story, yes even an AMG, its just a V8 guys. Its not gods work. Honestly change the OIl yourself, OIl filtter ( $20.00 bucks) and 63's use 5w40 Fully Syth MB 229+ Newest spec, pretty cheap actually.

Seems cheap for the dealer. I was quoted around $200 at the indy for my Z4. No thanks. I made some wood ramps and did it myself for around $75.
$25 for labor at the dealer is dirt cheap. Their oil is a little overpriced, so that's where they're making their money, as the C63 takes 9 qts of oil, and a filter. You could save about $55 if you did it yourself.

I owned a 2008 e63 AMG and sold it as soon as the warranty ran out. Great car though but didn’t wanna take a chance on something going kaboom and having to pay 20k or more for repairs

mujjuman...Dude...even a Mercedes dealership will hose you...owning a high end car only means they can take you to the bank every time you roll in the dealership...especially if you don't know any better..you could do the oil change yourself for a lot less as long as you use the correct oil and filter
so basically 100 dollars for oil and the filter ( same as my CLK430 but thats ME doing the work on my own car ). But they charge for labor, garage, parts, tools and extra fees. For a super car like this, thats REALLY not bad. Pretty fricken fair.

Accord tells you when to change the oil. Mine asks for it every 8-10K miles. Synthetic costs more but it sure does last longer between changes.

Every single one contains 80% bullshit out of this guy's bald head, and 5% actual information with no substance. Look at this video - just told everyone it cost 150$. What oil was used? How many quarts? Why is the recommended 10k miles? What's the factory fill oil? What internal controls does the car have to monitor oil change frequency? What filter to use? I do it myself on my 2004 S430, w220 model, with Mobil 1 full synthetic and OEM oil filter and costs me around $50 and half hour of my time.

Mate just wrap your car, its a satin black wrap. will set you back around $1600 for the wrap, it will also protect your paint from stone chips etc. i wrap all my cars, doesn't damage your original paint. And looks great as you can see. Would highly recommend

Unflipping real! MB dealership wanted $400 in Calgary, Canada and thats not including resetting the maintenance notification on the instrument cluster which should only take a minute to do. They wanted another hun for that. 152 for your car is cheap and ours is a 2017 GLC.
Very lucky for one "oil change" ... in Europe you pay around 340€ to do that ... Mobil One it´s too expensive . You do not need to change the oil every 8000 km. Just change every 20.000 km´s or one year. I know what I'm saying because I work at Mercedes Keep on good work !

Well, German cars are for rich idiots. Once you buy them (and pay a fortune), you are in for even more money wasting because they are unreliable in every single way. Same goes for British cars, but they are cheaper. French, Italian, Korean/Japanese are best for the average person, not too expensive to buy and not too expensive to maintain.

sekopiski he has to buy the tamper paint to remark the bolts after also. They do it in pink and yellow on most cars to see if they did the work or another shop. Just my two cents. I'm a mechanic and do this for my customers to save their warranties.

Here in austria they charge for one hour of work 120€ and one L of oil costs 20-25€ at the Mercedes dealer. Now imagine the price for an oilchange. That car costs with taxes and full kasko assurance around 480€/ month :)

Better question is why not just change the oil yourself its so fucking easy and you definitely want it done right , Ps: Never take your car to Walmart for any auto service they are idiots.
NEVER EVER Get your Benz oil changed at Walmart. An oil change on a Benz is completely different. First, the top mounted filter is a multi part replacement where the filter and about 5 different O-rings are replaced. The oil is sucked out of the engine by a Mityvac oil evacuator by a long tube inserted into the oil port which requires the entire engine cover, which also houses the twin air filters, to be removed. Warning: There is no oil dipstick to measure and oil level is monitored by a specific diagnostic screen inside the car dash display. Hence you have to absolutely know how much oil you evacuated and then fill back what you sucked out. It’s very precise. Lastly a typical V6 engine uses approximately 4-4.5 qts of oil. Mercedes engines uses 7-8 qts of Mobil 1 0-40 which is a pain in the ass to find.
I know it’s not the same but you can always have Shane wrap your C63 to the same color as that E63

It is hard to match the paint perfectly with two different materials. Those two being plastic and metal
It maybe hard as an individual, but it's not too difficult for car makers if they're choosing the right undercoat which it seems they don't bother with these days.

Not bad price to be fair, it’s higher because Mercedes oil (which is Mobil 1 in a Mercedes branded bottle) is double the price of oil straight from manufacturer, same goes for the filter

Also just a important note on the subject. Saw a Mercedes SLR last year at the dealership here in Finland. It was for sale for 725,000€ and had 25,000km on it. It was under yearly maintenance and the mechanic told me once a year it goes through service and it costs 10,000€, and takes a few days to do. Insane.

Its a German car the reason it doesn't need an oil change for 10k miles is the engine unlike american cars has like 500hrs on it before its put in the vehicle. You break in the transmition not the engine. American cars you gouge out the piston walls because the engines have 0-3hrs on them the pistons are not set and if you drive like an american the engine is shit in 24hrs. German vehicles the engine is broken in and if you drive like a normal person your not going to hurt the engine but you will destroy the transmition if you drive like an idiot. So drive sensable for 10k miles and your german car will last you 20+ years easy.

One of my Mercs has oil change intervals at 20,000. I do it at 5000. You should also consider getting your trans serviced every 10,000.The myth of sealed for life trans means a shorter life .The fluid can be eye bleeding expensive but it's cheaper than a trans failure in one these.(remember the cost of new engine??)

Here in Germany, 10,000 mile range between oil changes was common from the 1990s on. Some run up to 18,000 miles with the same oil (which i wouldn't recommend, since it's Longlife Service and that's proven to be harmful to e.g. timing chain and valvetrain, Volkswagen did it a lot).
So i wouldn't consider 10,000 miles a lot, even on a high performance car. Plus the fact that we have no speed limit on the Autobahn and still keep the oil in the pan longer than the average American.
Our F-150 over here runs fine with changes every 8-10,000 miles. Greetings

Many of the higher end vehicles use synthetic oil and if it's not changed through the dealer/manufacturer it immediately voids the warranty.

A video about nothing ! 150 it's somehow overpriced because Mercedes uses the same oil for all models. That's the fun part for the AMG. The other performance brands they ask overpriced oil changes just because costumers whant to pay a lot. Think for a Ferrari if it costed $150 , it wasn't a Ferrari anymore , it was an Civic or something. High $ car's are owned buy people who are OK with that mentally and they expect to pay big bucks for a simple oil change
This is the kind of stuff that scares me about buying a Mercedes even if I could afford an AMG. Part of it is the amount of oil I'm sure, but I can't imagine what any major repair would cost considering this is about 3x the amount I pay for full synthetic at the dealer.
I wonder how he feels when he pays for 91 octane fuel, registration, insurance, wiper blades, tires, lol
He probably gets 93 being in PA, wiper blades from the dealer are about 65$, tires are definitely a killer, unless he got the wheel&tire package. I have it and my service rep hooks me up and puts a nail in the tire when I need a new one for the claim😂
Fuck me thats cheap lol - my old 2000 Subaru Outback doing an oil change myself is like $100 - my E63 oil service is $400 - don't know why you think thats expensive lol. Sell it if you dont want to pay for it.
My Suzuki Hayabusa motor cycle cost $275 (Aus) for a 5000 km service at the dealer,which consists of oil ,filter,a wash and check a few things. Took about 25 minutes.
