BTW I do lots of on spot "camping" jobsite to jobsite, And I love the star filled timelapses, How do I do similar? To replicate that in the areas I find myself would be amazing (to me😂)
I've just seen the Ebay motors videos. It's amazing to me that a production team that does filming and storytelling for a living is so hopelessly stuck in the past. If UA-cam has taught us anything it is that guys like you on Grind Hard has nailed the art of telling good stories without resorting to endless quick cuts, jerky camera movements and endlessly joined "shouted" one-liners. So envy the camera equipment all you want, but know that it has no impact whatsoever on the quality of your videos.
Exactly, that ebay motors video felt like watching TV and I think this is the opposite of what people want to see on youtube. Besides, GHPC guys don't need to be jealous of the equipment, these little Sony cameras are more than enough and most differences were in editing anyway. Gotta say, drone shots in ebay motors vid were pretty good tho.
I just watched it and in reality there's a reason why this one tells the way it does to you. This video is a behind the scenes style feel while eBay is in fact a production piece. It's made that way for other companies can pull references blah blah blah. If eBay would have made this then it would serve zero purpose as they would have just used this copy and someone would lose views down the line. So yes, you the viewer will resonate with this version as it makes you feel like your there kicking it as friends. eBay you are being sold something. It's an oversized add is all.
This is an amazing project! The fact that your video team can match the quality of a professional camera and editing crew employed by a multinational corporation is a testament to how far this channel has come and what you guys are really capable of. Ethan is truly in his element here, and it's fun to watch him take on one of the biggest builds you guys have ever attempted in one of the shortest timeframes you've ever been subjected to. Can't wait to see the shakedown run next week! You guys are top notch!
Excellent video gentlemen. It was great to briefly meet you at the Rubicon trail head. Hope to run into you all again in the future. My son and I love watching your videos. We are always very inspired by your work.
Been watching you guys for 3 years, been off sick for 6 years! You guys keep me sane... always get excited when a new grind hard video pops up! Much respect to all you guys!!!
Those night sky shots are awesome. Having been here from the beginning of the channel, it is mind blowing how far you all have come. and that includes your guest.
Loved those transitions with the FF and the stars cruising by in the sky. Killer!! Y’all’s videos have become so good over time. Sick drone footage too, congrats. Love the content 😁
I like how Ethan can go from making Barbie jeep power wheels to huge mega trucks he has got some talent and I admire that how good of a fabricator you are I enjoy all you're builds and the videos are 10/10 every time
I tried watching the ebay video, so over produced and missing all the best moments of how these things come together, which is the best part imo. They did an amazing job bringing together entertaining creative people and cut out some of what makes them entertaining and nearly all of the creative process. I'm so glad the builders are doing their own videos on this insane truck and (at least a little) thankful to epay for making it happen lol. Amazing work as always guys.
Eathans tenacity for exemplary work and late night shifts has really shon through on the bronco build , wow , newly tantalised , Eathan is definitely the MAN , you go son!
Because of medical issues I lost a lot of my memory. Watching your show reminds me of the fabrication I used to be able to do. Mathematics is bringing my memory back ....and you're helping... thank you!😉
For the different angles that the shock ends will experience. Use a large impact universal on the ends. Bolt shock to a bracket welded to the universal with the other end of the universal with a flat ferm mount to the axle.
That plasma cutter is such a dream tool to have. That and a good welder makes any do it yourself guys so happy. Hell of a tool to have. Makes the impossible possible.
Just pure talent these guys are showing us..excited to see what awesome builds you can make in a fully built garage! Much love from a fan from the Philippines!
You gents have really come so very far since those humble days of the Barbie jeep, and still you lads are quite down to earth. Rather like this GrindHardPlumbing business.
A small wish from someone having to watch late in the evening. Your sound quality is brilliant! but the volume between shots vary quite a lot, especially from talking to music. To compensate (and not wake the neighbors) the volume slider have to go between ~30% and full several times throughout the video, if this could somehow be balanced without too much trouble it would be much appriciated. :)
I love the time lapse of the northern night sky, super good video skills as well workmanship on the build. You guys are killing it. Thank you for the entertainment . Being a professional mechanic myself, I appreciate the hard work that goes into a project of that caliber. 👍🏻👍🏻
Some of the most fun content on the internet and the best drone shots !!!! test at Winter 4x4 jamboree Hurricane, Utah in January ??? Maybe Paul from FabRats won't wreck your stuff this time.
Your skills are pretty bloody amazing! Ive genuinely never watched one of your video's and thought it could have been done better. Another amazing build like usual 👍
I didn't know you guys were so close, I'm over in Missoula. I'm getting all warm and fuzzy (and a little jealous) over your sweet shop and fab skills. I can almost smell the steel in the air🤩🤤
those are rockwell 2.5 ton axles wich are normal for a build like this . only they need a ton more cage and brace work or it will bend because the stock frame is very weak to hold that much weight and power
Backyard builds like this make it seem like anyone could do this, but then I realise I don't even know how half of Ethan's tools work, let alone how to design parts and consider all the complec geometry and loads etc.
Take it from a guy that's had a few of those full size Broncos when you take them in the air they get very tough heavy so take that in mind they are top heavy I've had mine three of them on their lids you
I would like bring hard to do a tool video about the favorite tools they use and why. I want to add to my shop and would value the experienced opinions of grind hard plumbing
This is the second time I'm watching this video already looked at it on my Xbox I just don't log into any UA-cam account on the Xbox so that's why I'm watching the game to hit the like button
Ethan mate you are one fantastic fabricator! Nothing ever a problem as you think outside of the box and make it work and do an amazing job at that… I also love you running to the scrap pile rather then the hardware like every other fabrication show…. Everything you build is to it’s highest potential.. like your final products could be built on a big scale and sold to the public as your work is arguably better than some brand names out there love this channel you’re one of the most original honest and creative people on UA-cam Thank you for sharing your skills mate it’s honestly a pleasure to watch
The more you angle the shock from vertical the heavier the rating needs to be so if it’s too stiff add more angle. You could make multiple holes so you could move and adjust it
dude your fabrication skills are amazing, even with not having all the tools, or giant shop, or a lift, I can only imagine what you could do with more resources, DANG
4:27 and thats the natural sky we are robbed of thanks to light pollution..... gorgeous. I just hooe one day i can go far enough out to see somthing like that one day.
@@GrindHardPlumbingCo grew up in milwaukee wi. One of these days i need to take a mini overlanding trip or somthing.
Awesome work! For some of those small parts, you could try a tab and slot design to help maintain the dimension and aid with clamping making it easier to tack up. Use it all the time when designing fixtures for various weldments. Also #weldred !
You guys have a great team workmanship goals as in poorly worded by this seventy three year old wish I could still work on old metal. Your using a CNC, I started with a blacksmith forge. geez you guys ripped off ebay motors on the footage lol seems like yous got all the good stuff and gave them the left over crap uses filmed
Ethan! Edwin! Make this upcoming year, the year you build a big shop, with clubhouse, and studio, upstairs!!!!! IT'S TIME!
I'd hope to experience such a wild machine as a BRZ

Thanks!
That plasma table certainly makes quick work of those brackets! Really coming together quick.👍
I don't think there's anything Ethan can't build or manufacture. He's an absolute genius.
I actually think about this alot

@@JXSTAR45 can't make something that doesn't doesn't exist

With the most basic of tools, on dirt, often outside lol they’re doing a better job than many well equipped shops
I love how eBay’s own video is only 1080p while this is 4K and so much better shot and edited!
Facts lol
Thanks! We put in a ton of effort to go the extra mile here.
agreed.
"It's not the size, it's how you use it" type of situation?

Yep the ebay motors was an assault of busy reality tv noise. This is a few guys in Idaho building a cool 4x4. I know which one I prefer.
Exactly. The ebay show felt like 2005 era car building shows.
Nowadays, people like authenticity

Pretty sure I saw another finely fabricated sandwich in this video. There it is ,,,,,,
6:25 late night grilled cheese. Very good choice.

To be honest the best part of the video is of the night sky to see the stars rotate as the earth turns so satisfying
OMFG that drone shot of going through the buildings and under the car! That's some Next Level shit
Another fine Grind Hard sandwich there, jealous!
