A resonator cleans that up nicely, straight piped 5.3/6.0 are probably some of the better sounding motors without mufflers*** imo. Just best to do a mid-pipe or some resonators in the middle to keep some of that crackle back

add cam and different heads sounds completely different , mine revved so fast and sounded almost like a vette , it was a lq4 with 243 heads , mild cam , 3600 stall , bitch was mean

The white truck is not an SS....unless it has been repainted, SS Silverado's were not offered in white.

GM had the 8.1 (494) in '03 on the 2500 series trucks. The SS was a 1500 and only had the 6.0L

Would probably sound decent though with a good exhaust.

That 2000 RPM drone out on the highway is going to be horrible, I know from experience on mine….don’t do it, I went to mufflers after one trip to the lake.
