Now this is a very simple and very thorough explanation on how redstone powering works. Thanks for the great content!
Thanks :-]
Strongly powered: the powered block acts like a redstone block
Weakly powered: the block only outputs power on certain sides only.
This is handy information
This is a nice series, high quality. Why am I only discovering this recently?
Also, any plans with exploring redstone transmission behavior with non-full blocks like slabs, stairs etc?
Thanks! Yeah actually that topic was going to be in this video originally but I cut it out for length because, well, "quick redstone" ;-), but if I can find a nice way to package it I think it should be somewhere because it confuses a lot of people!
Wait, should Slime Blocks be an exception to the redstone's transparency rule at the end there? You can see through it but it transmit redstone signals.
Edit: Also Sea Lanterns and Glowstones (unable to pass redstone signal) but I think the wiki already covers them as you have said?
So yeah, very confusing. According to the wiki slime blocks are "rendering only" transparent. I.e. they act as full solid & opaque. Sea laterns and glowstone are listed as transparent but full solid even though you can't see through them (but for me it makes some sense for a reason I can't really explain... personally)
I.e. yeah, super confusing. Wiki helps a lot :-].
Great comment, thanks!

1:21 wouldnt it be possible to pull a repeater out of the top weak powered block?

Not all lawyers are like that. It depends if they sound sure or not
