PS2 AV2HDMI VS PS2 TO HDMI

Thank you. I bought the av to hdmi, and was disappointed with the blurriness (but it does work! So if playing the game is all you care about, see this as the even cheaper option, then go for it. You can also use this on more utilities than just the playstation). I only saw today that there's also one that goes directly ps2 to hdmi. I was skeptical but I do see a benefit in having a new cable output overall for my PS2 since my cable is old and who knows how long it will still last. I think I'll buy the ps2hdmi one as well (Ebay for under 10 dollars). It makes sense that the video quality is affected because it needs to convert twice, rather than just once. Thanks for the review on this!

I bought both of them. PS2 to HDMI is super device. Very clear and enjoyble to play on lcd tv.
Definitely not recommend AV2HDMI to use PS2, maybe it can use some other devices like VCR or something else.

Fun fact: you can use ps2 to hdmi + hdmi to vga "note that requires opl to be able to view image or softmod to change quality so make sure to change everything using TV"

I already used 3 types of av to vga converter but didn't get good quality in my monitor now im thinking to buy this adaptor😢 what are you using tv or monitor?

Video component is the best cable to ps2

Ps2 to hdmi looks better overall but don't support 240p, however, AV2HDMI let you play any game in 240p. Try some games like megaman x collection which only run in 240p
