That’s nice to hear. I have just bought it, but so far very happy with it. I don’t have that many, but it is by far the best one I’ve got. I really appreciate your replying, and I love your channel. Thanks
I'm very impressed with Semogue's first entry into the world of Proprietary fibers. I'm a huge fan of Semogue and can only imagine good things to come from their synthetic line. And thank you sir! I enjoy creating the content and it means a lot to hear guys get something from it. Have a great week!
Great Tobin! It does look a lot like the Titanium knot that A P Shavco has, but that's just going off the appearance. I just don't have a ton of experience with there being some many knots out there and I just didn't get into brushes that much. That might change after I get the Pure Bliss, but who knows. This does look interesting and maybe they will have just a knot available at some point. I did message you and maybe that might partially get you close to an answer. Sometimes it takes me a bit to come up with the right words-lol! Take care!
When you talk about razors you talk about blade gap and exposure in inches yet when you talk about brushes you only talk about millimeters. Clearly you are comfortable with the metric system when it comes to shaving hardware. Most, not all, razor manufacturers now list specs in mm as it seems to be the standard. Just saying. Love your videos.
Great review. Personally I like the way that brush looks. Id say Semogue do make some beautiful brushes. This one is on my list of next brushes to get.
Thanks, Georgie! Coming very soon. I just grabbed it and set it aside. I'll make it episode 10. I'll try to record it Wednesday ot Thursday. Love that brush!. Alchemy1 is more like a Finest Badger not as soft and Alchemy1 has more backbone.
great review, sounds like a brush difficult to come across over here in Europe. Quick question if I may; how do you find the Simpsons Berkely brush? Stay safe and happy
@@Tobins_throwbacks They are located in Spain. If you order from out-side EU they deduct the EU tax before you finalize the order. Shipping is cheap.... €8-10... Worldwide... Doing great!! Hope you're thriving!! 🤜💥🤛
I'd say the Alchemy1 has a slightly stronger Backbone than the SOC Silvertip synthetic. But because the the size of the knot and the way it is cut it still splays well. So more backbone but not by much. The higher loft and the cut i believe make a difference in the way it splays. If this doesn't make sense let me know. Have a good one!
@@Tobins_throwbacks i find the soc synthetic to have more backbone compared to mij simpsons t3. Do you find the Pegasus a brush to buy if i already own a soc synthetic? Is it that different?
@Ric325i yes and no. I love the SOC the Alchemy1. If you have money to burn and brush squish disorder like I do then I'd say yes. It is an improvement compared to the SOC. But it's not a "game changer".
Tobin! Always good to see a new installment to this series!
Thank you brother!
What a beautiful brush! Another wonderful review, Tobin.❤
Thanks Ashley! It's a great brush!
You put your heart and soul into making your videos and it's much appreciated.
I appreciate that! Yes sir, I try to with all of them. I love this hobby and I genuinely enjoy making the content! Have a good one Robert!

Hey Tobin, thanks for the content, man! I always look forward to your videos!
Thanks again, Christopher! I appreciate you!
Straightforward, to the point no bullshit hype! 🤘 thanks!
🙏🤘
Thanks Tobin!!
You bet, have a good one!
I hope they come out with a smaller version, say 21 to 23 mm. That brush is a size too large for me. So it goes.
I agree, I was thinking a 24mm would be nice. 22 to 24 is my "sweet spot".
Have a good one!
24 you can get in the Tatara Muramassa but it’s expensive

Interesting...thanks. Have you tried the Silver Tip Fibre v2?
From Muhle?

Thanks, Manny! It's a great brush, I'm glad Semogue has finally gotten into the "synthetic game".

Very interesting Video, Tobin!
Thanks Robert!
Great review sir! I need to check this one out.
Thanks brother!
Great stuff Tobin. Waiting on the g9 review, hope it will come soon. How does the Alchemy1 compare to STF in you opinion?

Did you pick up the new boar Pegasus as well. Razor Emporium has them too.
@horseglu No, I seriously want to though! As well as the badger! Have you?
@@Tobins_throwbacks The boar will be the 1st new brush that I get. I'm looking forward to it.
Brush Review Series!
😁 thanks Shaun! Have a good one brother!
A 24mm would be nice along with other handle options. Great review Tobin
Absolutely

I believe Your Shaving may have it over there.
The Berkeley with which fibers?
And thanks, man, you too!
Thanks for replying:) The fibre is Best Badger
@@bjarnesolhaug6698 I LOVE Simpson's Best Badger! I have it in the Commodore X2 and it's one of my favorite brushes!
How do you like it?
I do hope that Semogue puts this knot in an SOC handle, perhaps in butterscotch.
Me too! It would look great in the butterscotch and wood!
Nice vid, Brother!
I ordered that very brush from Gift and Care...
Hasn't arrived , yet...
Gift and Care? Where are they located?
Thanks, Sig! Hope you're doing well!
