I wish you could have shown how you got the measurements for the fabric. I have a great of not getting enough or getting too much. Thanks for sharing it came out nice!
Hi! I have a similar tufted/nailhead wingback headboard and I was wondering if you just went over the buttons in the middle? I saw you take off the nailhead things on the wings but what about the middle? Thank you!
Hi! I removed the wings first (there are hidden screws on the side) & just reupholstered the fabric super tightly & hid them from the back! It was very simple :) hope that helps!
I want to cover my faux leather headboard however it is a platform bed that has floor panels so I'm assuming they'd have to be covered also? There's also a footboard. So I'm worried because my bed has so many pieces. Is it worth it or should I just replace it?
Hi there! I have an almost identical headboard I want to reupholster. How did you take the side panels off the headboard? I am afraid of damaging the headboard if I just start hacking away at it lol! Thanks so much for the video, it turned out so beautiful!
Hi :) Thank you so much! I was able to take off the side panels by screwing it off from the back. I kept the screwdriver tool that came with the bed frame to take it off. I recommend searching up the setup manual online if you can’t find it!
Girl I have the same upholstered bed frame in white. I need to do this because my actual frame is really scratched up from my cats. How much fabric did you get for this? I need to do my whole bed frame
Hi there! Behind my headboard there are screws on the side that allow me to remove them pretty easily. I just followed the setup manual from when I first put my bed together.
Hi , i m so thankful for your video 😍 I have the same bed , I found the headboard too high , and video/ tips on reducing the height of the headboard ? thank you for showing me how to take out the ugly silver nailheads!
Hi Phoebe! ☺️ yay! I’m happy my tips helped you! I’m actually not sure how to reduce the height, you’d probably need saw down the sides of the headboard, but it’d take some work! Happy holidays!
So I just bought a hanging headboard for $9. It's nice and cushiony but I want to make really plush. Unfortunately. You gave me no visuals on how to do it.☹️. Other than that, nice video.
I reupholstered my Wayfair bed last week. I am actually editing the video now. Great video.
Thank you sooo much for this video. I was about to spend over $800 for a soft frame bed when honestly, this is so much easier and frugal.
Yay! I’m glad I could help 😊 Bed frames are so expensive! Thanks for watching 💕
I literally have the exact same headboard! Trying to change the fabric because I’ll be using it for my daughters room. Thank you ♥️
I wish you could have shown how you got the measurements for the fabric. I have a great of not getting enough or getting too much. Thanks for sharing it came out nice!
Thank you so much for this! It inspired me to do renovations myself and save so much $. I appreciate you!
Aw thank you so much! ☺️ I’m so glad to hear that!
These were some great tips for fluffing your bed. I will be doing this at my new apt. lol thanks for sharing.
Great job!
How did you remove the side wings on the headboard?

Hi! I removed the wings first (there are hidden screws on the side) & just reupholstered the fabric super tightly & hid them from the back! It was very simple :) hope that helps!

Hi! How many yards of fabric did you end up using/buying?
Hi Sarah! I purchased 6 yards in total :) I had to get a bunch since I also reupholsetred the bottom of my bed frame
Hi! Did you have to take out the tufting on the headboard or just wrap fabric over? My headboard is very similar :) thank you ❤️❤️
@@Catherineyasharskincare Hi! No, I did not take out the tufting - I just placed the fabric over the headboard☺️ So it was super easy!

What paint color did you use on you side tables?
It’s called Russian olive by Behr! 🙂
Hi, off topic question haha but where did u get your lamps, they r so cute.x
Aw thank you! I actually got them a thrift store called Local Flea in San Francisco, but unfortunately I don’t have the brand name on them!

Hi! I'm in sf too, and I was wondering which fabric outlet you went to? Btw found you through your home tour-- so gorgeous! ☺️
Hi!! Oh yay! Thanks for watching 😊 The store is called Discount Fabrics in SF - they have a huge selection!
@@sweetvanillajamilla awesome! I'll have to check it out 😊 thanks
love what you did but i draw the line at steaming the linens on the bed!😂
Haha, it’s a tedious process! Thank you 😊
How did I you take off the sides from the headboard
Hi there! Behind my headboard there are screws on the side that allow me to remove them pretty easily. I just followed the setup manual from when I first put my bed together.
This was awesome, however, the edge of the headboard could use a little padding/smoothing.

Phoebe - You may be able to just drill holes lower on the headboard legs. That would be the quickest and easiest method.
I just use curtain fabric or else I cover the headboard with a second duvet cover. I just tuck it in.
Wow great idea!
