Montreal activists blockade company manufacturing parts for Israeli military

Activists blocked three entrances to Héroux-Devtek this morning in protest of the company’s ties to Israel. Héroux-Devtek manufactures landing pads for F-35 fighter jets used by the Israeli military.
Canada recently passed a non-binding motion to prevent future shipments of arms to Israel, which would not include this landing pad, as it is not classified as a weapon.
Héroux-Devtek did not respond to a request for comment.
