高筋面粉 bread flour 280g / 2cup

肉桂粉 cinnamon powder 1/2tsp

鮮奶 fresh milk 150ml+-
即溶酵母 instant yeast 5g / 1/2Tbsp
無鹽奶油 unsalted butter 30g / 1/8cup
黑巧克力 dark chocolate 100g / 2/3cup
中筋面粉 plain flour 2Tbsp
鮮奶 fresh milk 2Tbsp
糖浆 syrup
摄氏180 / 华氏356 烘烤 15-17分钟
Bake at 180°C / 356°F for 15-17minutes

I think if you bake it in the morning you should let the dough rest in the fridge so it doesn't overrest. Otherwise there'll be a yeasty flavour in the buns

You can use egg substitutes if you don't eat eggs

I think it gives a yeasty flavour when you do that. You could do it in the fridge I think, then it won't overrest🤔

Hi, suitable for room temperature milk in summer, warm milk in winter will better enhance yeast activity, can add the yeast into the lukewarm milk 20-30℃ for 10 minutes and knead the dough together with other ingredients

I made the bread but as I omitted the chocolate chips and the toppings, in my opinion, the dough is too bitter. I would suggest to add more sugar or reduce the cocoa powder if anybody wish to omit chocolate chips and topping like me.

I substituted bread flour with plain flour thinking it'd work similar but no! Bread didnt rise much in oven haha. We should stick to the recipe strictly. Might try again soon!
But it doesn't rise much in the oven in the video too tho? There's next to no difference between before putting in the oven and getting it out... (9:14 vs 9:24) But otherwise did it come out good?👀
@@nottobe5597 My bread might not have risen enough before going into the oven. It came out dense and had a strong alcohol taste (poorly fermented). Have retried this bread and let it rise much longer than what the recipe called for, and it was a success!
@@durianyo I just made them(with AP flour), they were great. Glad to hear the 2nd time worked out for you. The room might have been too cold at yours, that's why it took it's time to rise. It's winter here so I place them in my oven at ard 30°C, so it takes only 45-60 min for the dough to rise. You could do that next time to save time!
