Thanks for watching Mehr!
Thank you Rachel. Can you also make a video about t-t contractions? For example: past the limit. Are we have to pronounce both ts seperatly?
Great question and great video suggestion! With 'past the limit' - the second T is actually part of the voiced TH consonant sound - so it's not really a T sound. The T in the ST cluster of 'past' would usually be dropped by a native speaker because it comes between two consonants. This happens with the D consonant, as well. We tend to drop the T and D when it comes between two consonants!
Your content is amazing, but it's almost impossible to watch a single video in this UA-cam without seeing tons of ads! This is ridiculous!
Just download AdBlock.
Preziosa Professoressa, I need your help! I'm going to teach to my students the "Figure retoriche". Many students of mine are English speakers... In your experience is more common to say "Rethorical device" or "figure of speech"? I really bless you ❤️🌟🙏🏻
Thank you Rachel! It's so exiting! I love Friends. And you are amazing! I am a very big fan of tricky phrases. Do you guys know what means "put it down"? If not, welcome to my funny channel.
