The Federal Signal MicroPulse Ultra Dual Color Surface Mount Light combines reliability and superior warning in a new low-profile design. With a depth of only 9.4mm, the MicroPulse Ultra Dual Color can be mounted on any flat surface of a vehicle or used with existing MicroPulse brackets. The MPS620U offers superior warning with 12 high power LEDs, 6 and 6 interwoven so that each color fills the entire light. Eighteen flash patterns create versatility that allows it to flash as a solid or dual color lighthead. MicroPulse Ultra Dual Color lightheads can be synchronized to flash simultaneously or alternately.

These are wonderful little lights.
Perfect for the volunteer firefighter that also uses his POV to plow snow. Red for fire response mode. Yellow to plow snow.

Do you know if they plan to expand the colors? I'm mainly looking at green and white for volunteer FD in Canada. Also are these even approved in Canada?

good idea use 2 amber yellow LED lights on the rear taillights with cars / motorhomes / trucks / RVs
I have seen scrap supposedly abandoned light bars on youtube some guy had video of a crap load of them if someone went through SSI shredders to get a product security destruction shredder they might make pretty good money from it.
So say I got this in amber and white. Do you have to cycle thru all of the patterns to get to isolate the colors them self?
Nope, it's not necessary to cycle through the patterns. The Amber and White colors have their own trigger wires. The lights also have color mode selection.
how would you compare these against the Feneix line?
They are very close rivals in output. The MicroPulse Ultra has the lead when profile height is considered. For example, if you've looking to mount them above the rear bumper on a truck or SUV and don't want the tail gate or hatch to bump your lighting or be interfered with, the M.P.U would be our recommendation.
Would I be able to run red/white and steady burn white for takedown?

well i want to see the long videos of the wheln m series flash patterns not the begining putt the hole videos

Over the last year we have updated the way we film product flash patterns so that they are all shown. Some video's are a few seconds while others can be over 5 minutes. We'll see if our Videographer can get an update in the works for the Whelen M series patterns.

In fairness to the manufacturers, we don't do side by side comparisons. Having worked with them both firsthand, we can tell you that the output performance is the brightest we have seen! You won't be disappointed with either one.
