Funny, when Wessex attacked Mercia it always felt southwards to me & how they conveyed it, but Mercia was above Wessex ie northwards. I love the deep, growling and grinding sound of her band-mate's bow, making gut-felt friction on the strings of his upright bass in the background of this tune.
