Season 4 is still being filmed at the moment and will be aired in 2020 (No official date yet)
I shed tears at that last conversation of Uthred and King Alfred. This show is really good I don't know why it's not as popular as GoT. Underrated.
As popular as GOT is nearly impossible,but with absolute sure this deserves a massive audience
It will become very popular, as I suspect there will be at least 6 seasons.
Because as you can see, GOT is on HBO. Meaning a TV show
The Last Kingdom is just a Netflix show or you can say a series.
And if you ask, are people going to pay for Netflix or HBO, I think most people would pay for HBO rather than Netflix. And both have their own and different amount of viewers they can draw in or whatever etc.

Other reason is GOT: Is more nudity (I guess that kinda get more people attention to it), Fantasy story (Such as Dragon and Magic)
Remember how good GOT was in the first 3 seasons, I personally like this show more but if they screwed the ending like they did with GOT it would leave a sour taste.

I think every actor grows as the seasons passes by. Alfred was great during his last days. His finals words his final scenes placed Uhtred in his pockets.

My most "cried a river moments" scenes:
1. When they rescue Uthred from slavery.
2. King Alfred's last conversation with Uthred before he died.
3. King Aethelred's last conversation of asking forgiveness from his wife, Aethelflaed.
4. Death of Father Beocca.

When they rescued Uhtred though. I replayed that so many times. It’s been awhile, I can’t recall Uhtred’s brother’s name, but I love that dude.

@@AntenainaAndriamihaja I’m going to have to go watch it again. Ragnar totally rocks. They probably killed him off because his character was starting to overshadow Uhtreds. I can’t remember anybody’s names anymore, but I also really liked the two brothers. The one that fell in love with the princess. The names are so unusual they are hard to assign to the right person. Who is Uhtred’s loyal friend? Begins with an F. Finnigan or something? Love him as well. 😋 Boy, I really need a refresher.

Ever since I started watching this show, as I go about my day I randomly break out into Uhtred's voice as I say 'I am Uhtred of Bebbenburg' its so addictive 🤣
And I'll drop "destiny iss all" with that accent whenever possible

Honestly, before my wife and I decided to watch this I had no idea what it was about. I looked at the photos and was like "Oh, great, another cheap Game of Thrones knock off". I was wrong and glad we decided to watch it. We burned through all the seasons in a little over a week and I am just sad there is no more, at least for now.
The show is great but come on. GOT is the meca. Nothing wrong with 2nd jeeez!. This show is great but not GOT. I guess you want Goodfellas to be as good as GodFather!!!!!
@@eugenebrown4163 Eh...GOT got absolutely ruined by it's final season. Don't get me wrong, it's still one of my favorites but that last seasons so fuggin terrible IMHO. You can have your own opinions about it and I am completely fine with that.

No wonder the show is so good. These guys seem to have genuine affection for each other. I've read The Warlord Chronicles and The Saxon Chronicles. Cornwell's books are great.

The final conversation with alfred and uhtred was the one scene everyone wanted to see more than anything.
It makes shows so much more enjoyable when the cast are having fun and like each other.
One of the best shows on Netflix. I can’t believe in a matter of few days, I watched all seasons without skipping any part of it. :)

That hug at the end between Alexander, David, and Eliza, made me go watch S3 E8 again, just to see that beautiful scene, the last conversation between Uhtred and Alfred. That was the best way to end that intense relationship.

I found this on Netflix by chance, I became completely invested in the characters and their lives... it was a well told story. I binge watched, now I wish I had gone more slowly because I am sorry it is over. It was so well written and acted...a really exceptional series.
I watch it all the time even though I watched the 7 Kings as well. Love all of it❤

I've watched the entire series of The Last Kingdom four times and Seven Kings Must Die 💜 at least six times. I iterally have to force myself to watch something else. I feel empty if I'm not watching it every day after work. I'm addicted 😅😂🎉❤😊

I'm now working my way through season 5, the reason Last Kingdom is my favourite is that it hasn't lost it's way unlike a couple of other period dramas I could mention!

Filming this series,all seasons,would have been the ultimate best fun. Hard work,yes,but ending up making such strong friends and doing medieval sword fights and all couldnt get any better than this. :}
