Listening to this in 2023. Can't even begin to imagine what Foundation would have evolved to at this point. Just happy i can go back and re live this show as much as i want.
I remember seeing these guys in Detroit, and the guitar player had a blanket over his cab with a trout on it. We talked to him about fishing, and how he couldn't wait to get back home to get into the river and fly fish. Then I got hit in the eye during "Never stops raining". Great night. #RIPfoundation

If you werent actively involved or around during this time, then you really have no clue, what this band, and many other foundational bands hitting their peak around this era did you for and everyone else who calls this genre theirs, these people ushered in the music and scene you build up now to continue on, music from the anger of the heart, from the darkness of the mind, paving the way just as the bands before these did for them. crazy to be able to say i was brought up by these bands, wish i still had my longsleeve from 09.
Id give anything for a reunion but id have to save for lawyers fees and bail.

I've only listened to this band from 2013 and I wish I was able to see them. I wanna see a lot of hardcore bands that broke up and bands that are still up and playing.

Yeah, but they did probably come half a dozen times. I saw them two or three times in Dallas/Fort Worth. Once at 1919 Hemphill and another at Gypsy Tea Room.
Saw them in 06 at TIFY, killed it just like this set, but people at least waited for the music to start before they stormed the stage

I remember being at united blood one year and they weren’t booked but they didn’t get over the Canadian border because of some dumb shit (I think it was with the wonder years or some shit) so they drove all the way back just to play. I saw them that night and it wasn’t the first bust they gave it so much heart and it was amazing. Rip. I fucking love you guys.
