here i am, a kid who loves this band, but is growing up in the wrong time for them. im perfectly happy watching their shows on youtube, but ill always crave the feeling of actually being there. seems dope. i love these guys
Oh man, I can’t believe I’m so old that people are talking about Title Fight like this. I remember seeing them in like 2009 and they were opening the show and it was like just me and 3 other kids who knew them at all
Nobody mentioning but Ned Russin is going beast mode on the bass all set long. That extreme speed version of Kingston doesn't love you sounds so good with these extra touches.
The energy Was really crazy at 30:00. It was like they were playing the song directly to Aaron and his family. Make you cry - A song directly about death at a benefit show for a death and transitioning to "your pain is mine now". Was really incredibly heavy in that moment.
Juan Rodriguez I doubt it. Ned is pursuing a degree at Columbia university, and they way he talks about Title Fight these days, it really sounds like they’re nearing their end. He said on a podcast recently he’s accepted that TF doesn’t have to exist forever, and how he hates the financial unpredictability of being a musician. That’s why he’s going to school now. Jamie is doing the same thing.
i remember seeing them in 2015 when they played with basement. i think alex g played too. it was sick, i got to meet Ned after the show aswell. very nice dude
I hear you brother. I think it is the refection of the things we care about existing inside us that are the true treasure. no one can take the experiences we have away from us and what they mean to us. I wish i could see them again too though haha. the concerts in my life have meant so much to me, being surrounded with other people who feel things also from a piece of music, and the energy of the artists we endear.
It'll always be so crazy to me that I got to be front row for the last song one of my favorite bands ever played. Had no idea that it was gonna be their last show at the time but thankful I went
I've been watching/listening to this occasionally for almost 3 years. Sometimes in the morning with my coffee, and sometimes in the evenings with some beer. Thanks again for the upload, the quality is just too good.
Not sure why but it seems like Ned is extra shreddy this set... He's throwing in all these cool bass licks. Idk maybe I'm wrong but I'm here for it. Wish I could have seen them live at least once.
This was my first time seeing Title Fight live. A buddy of mine and I got tickets since the bill was stacked and we were somewhat close by at college. Although I knew Title Fight was huge in the scene at the time, I wasn't as big into the scene nor Title Fight as I am now. Looking back, it was pretty cool to be part of what some might consider the end of an era or a little piece of hxc history.
Everytime I come back to this video, I swear I will never not consider Title Fight a classic in the realm of Post-hardcore and possibly even rock and roll.
Growing up in Wales sneaking in to see bands on the college circuit in ‘91 at 14, it was always like this. Then we had TJ’s, Newport (Husker Du’s first uk show venue). If it wasn’t like this up front then it wasn’t happening. Bronx brought this to Clwb earlier this year, 2018. It was great. Not quite as much as this but, damn, I missed THIS vibe when it was going off. Knackered thumbs n loose teeth or not.
Seeing someone mention TJ’s is crazy, 100% the same energy in this video. I lived 10 minutes away from that crusty old cave of a venue but saw some of the best shows of my youth there! Definitely some injuries along the way!
Liam Torrance You leave comments and then two years later they pop back with a fellow TJer! Great times. This set is waaayyyy better than I remembered too! I remember getting a lift back from on gig in TJs and I could see sparks flying behind us. Fallen exhaust. My pal decided to leave it like that until it fell off. Apt. Good to hear from another TJ fan. Horrific place to take a dump. I had to leg it ‘elsewhere’ / car park and come back in. EDIT: Totally with you on your experiences too. Got so caught up in the memory palace that I forgot to say that! Most likely we were at the same shows at one point.
I watch them and go “fuckin band is great, then individually appreciate all the talent … tonight I’m like Jamie is an incredible player, maybe has become my favorite player and writer of late

The one thing I’ve always loved about Title Fight is how they flawlessly transition from one song to the next. It’s so natural.

still the best band to ever exist. No museum can hold this anomaly complacent
Accurate statement.
This concert had more somersaults than a goddamn gymnastics meet.
That's every live Title Fight video I've seen. Lol

There's no lying there 😢

Ned is an extremely underrated but talented bass player
In a lot of extremely real ways, Title Fight are the greatest band of all time
they are the greatest band of all time, there’s no debate :-)

BRIANNA FROM TIGERS JAW DOING STAGE DIVE 37:25
Gonzalo Morales My favorite part is the gigantic smile on her face that says “oh god I haven’t done this in forever but here I go”

She is Shane's girlfriend lol pretty cool
Brianna is so frickin adorable and Tigers Jaw is a great band
Can we all take a moment to appreciate the fucking awesome work the audio guys did? This sounds great!
Their guitar tone is amazing.
Title Fight's shows make you forget about all reality and slams you into the most immersive release that seems to only last for a brief moment.
I've accepted that I'll never get to see title fight, haha. I remember they played some bowling ally years ago that I missed out on.
Ryan Mazzei I assume they’ll be back touring soon. You’ll get your chance dude.

Ned: SHED.. YOUR... SKIIIIN.... FIND A... BETTER WAY.... TO FIT IN.
My friend didn't wanna drive to long island for this show after we had just seen them in philly....we didn't know it would be the last one
37:28 Brianna Collins of Tigers Jaw stage dives. Love both Tigers Jaw and Title Fight
That transition into Like A Ritual is just too sick. I fucking love this band!
if only we knew... this is the last time they would play live
this is one of the best youtube videos in existence tbh.
jamie is so fucking talented
Ned's hair is so majestic
Probably the best I’ve ever seen them play/sound on this set, and I’ve seen them live twice
if anyone is hoping for a comeback, don't count on it. supposedly, they were offered 400k to play sound and fury and they declined
holy shit they sound soooo tight! thank you feet first
Even though these guys are young, they are one of the best bands out there today.
