    Thanks for the effort for making the video! And using that folding-chair as a portable stand is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!

      Thank you. It’s been a great panel and helped out with recent power outages. I think some sort of stand is necessary to get the most use out them. unfortunately there are not many portable ones out there so ya just got to improvise👍

    Eco Flow and Amazon have some great deals going on Eco Flow goodies. I bought the Delta 1300 that came with two(2) 160 watt solar panels and got a $300 off coupon. Ended up costing me $1800. That was 2 weeks ago. Since then, I bought The Delta Max, came with four(4) 160 watt solar panels. It was priced at $3899, used a $500 coupon that dropped the price to $3399 and with tax, ended up at about $3600.

    Great idea with the panel stand I was looking for a stand or looking to make a stand out of whatever lite scrap metal I could find. Your chair idea is perfect.
    In regards to Ecoflow product packaging...their packaging material is SOLID.

      Thank you. I really didn’t want my panel on the ground. As far as packaging goes all of the products I have received from them has been very well packaged.

      @@unclebillscamping Same here, last camping trip I had two of them on the ground and it was driving my nuts so we put a tarp under them. I just recieved my Ecoflow 400 watt panels and they are pretty big. I'm going to have to figure something out.

    *Hi Uncle Bill 😃I have the EcoFlow River 600 which I have upgraded with the extra "MAX" option battery upgrade kit. I just purchased the Elcaenta 120 Watt Solar panel kit, which I will test with the River 600 to see what I get. I will post back in here my results after a day or so of Mid-Winter testing.*

    Does the length of the extension have a direct impact on the charging time and juice coming in as oppose to a shorter cable closer to the panel ?

    • @unclebillscamping
      @unclebillscamping  Рік тому

      I have thought about that myself and I’m sure there is some resistance in such a long cable. With that said I live in a pretty hot and humid part of the United States for most of the year and I would want my ecoflow out in the open in the heat. I decided it would be worth the loss to have the unit closer to me inside the tent or under a shade canopy. This does give an idea for another video as I would like to know how much charge time I’m losing with a longer cable vs directly connected to the panel. Thank you for asking such a good question👍

    Which Renogy cable is that? I can’t find it. Or did you buy a cable sleeve? Did you go with 10awg or 12awg?

      Wondering what kind of model number that would be for the Renegy cord.

    I recently got this panel and had the same idea of a cheap camp chair for a stand, but how do you keep the panel flat? I’ve been trying bungie cords to keep the far panels in line but they don’t work as good as what you have.

    • @unclebillscamping

      I use old tent poles to run across the back to give it a spine.

    Do you have to buy anything else with the kit to use it. I seen it on Amazon with all this in a kit but wasn't sure if I had hidden things you need to buys to use this product

      It’s good to go out of the box for charging units like jackery Bluetti and ecoflow as it has adapters. I did buy a long renogy cable so I would need to keep the solar generator close to the panel.

    I just purchased this panel with the River Pro. I’m just curious, does the solar panel allow you to plug in a cell phone to charge directly? I’ve seen this feature on other panels however I can’t find anything saying this one has that ability.

    I wonder if the rubber that coats the panels fade over time from the sun exposure. This problem doesn't happen with glass. With your extended use of this product, do you notice any degradation to the rubber?

    • @unclebillscamping
      @unclebillscamping  8 місяців тому

      I have not noticed any degradation but to be fair I’m only using these 3-4 days at a time.

    My 110 panel I connect to battery it charges for a few minutes then it turns off is it cause I need more sunlight or my panel doesn't work

    • @unclebillscamping
      @unclebillscamping  2 роки тому

      You should head over to the ecoflow Facebook group. They could probably give you a better answer than I could. Unless you are in complete shade it should be giving some kind of charge.

      @@unclebillscamping I think it's cause I didn't put it at a angle I laid it flat could that have been the reason?

    • @unclebillscamping
      @unclebillscamping  2 роки тому

      As long as it’s catching some sunlight regardless of the angle it should output something. As I said before you should try the ecoflow Facebook group. The people who work there are very active and will be able to help figure it out.

    • @rjbfreelander2
      @rjbfreelander2 2 роки тому

      The Battery management module will cut if less than 20w of solar is coming in I believe. Conditions and panel angle all play a big part in it.

      I have one and the max I’ve ever been able to get is 60W. I live in the Southwest and thought I would get more wattage.
