It's honestly a lesson that more people today need to learn. It's presented in a dramatic fashion because it's a movie and all, but his refusal to sit idly by is fantastic. His doubling down and humiliating the wannabe thugs is legendary.
Most noteworthy though is his message at the end; the learning crescendo. Kids shoot, girls stab, boys punch. Adults use their mind/wits.
