A perfect pairing for me; I first encountered a Cool Worlds video with Kipping - instantly fascinated by his delivery and the subject. Ditto for Greene - wonderfully likeable and speaks in a way that is fully absorbing. But I am basically a monkey with a Firestick remote, or the mouse and keyboard. Still, these guys make me want to know more - to push myself to learn.
Good luck with Kepler-1625b. I'm a huge fan of David Kipping's "Cool Worlds" UA-cam channel. This interview just makes my enthusiasm for his channel that much greater.
I absolutely LOVE the questions Brian asked and how David answered them. These are the basic questions most of us are asking ourselves these days. So so so incredibly grateful for these two amazing people AND the fact that things like the internet and telescopes exist!
OMG, as soon as I saw the title, I was hoping against hope that it would include Dr Briane Greene AND Dr David Kipping. Christmas came early this year 🤩
Kipling has been in good shape for the years I've been watching Cool Worlds, but yeah - he looks like he's leveled up in the last few months. My first thought was he got saucy.
doesnt do juice, just lifts.. im couple years older (42) and thats completely normal for someone lifting. and considering he is naturally athletic, no need for juice at all.g@@joshwhitley4708
Where Proff Brian is,then the topic gets easy to understand, same as Proff Michio kaku.I think knowing something is one side but passing that to other is the Art.Brian a good example of that Art.
Been learning from WSF for over 12 years now and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to listen to these amazing scientists. Future man will look back at these people and applaud their efforts in broadening our understanding to the behavior and meaning of life.
No other body would be more ubiquitous. Based on basic Universal Gravitational Law than the existence of Moons. Dr. Kipping's Lab will be a success. It's just a matter of when.
As frequencies of Atomic Clocks have gotten down to 1×10^-24. Or a Septillionth of a Second. We're able to measure smaller things more accurately. Like Microarcseconds. Or now, Nanoarcseconds on the sky.
The quest for exomoons moons orbiting planets outside our solar system represents a thrilling frontier in the search for extraterrestrial life and understanding planetary systems beyond our own. While thousands of exoplanets have been discovered, finding their moons remains a challenge due to their smaller size and the subtle effects they have on the light from their host stars. Yet, exomoons could offer critical insights into the formation of planetary systems and even present environments that might harbor life, potentially acting as "miniature worlds" with unique atmospheres and conditions. The detection of exomoons could transform our understanding of how planetary systems form and evolve, but what advancements in telescope technology or detection methods will be key to uncovering these elusive objects? And how might the discovery of an Earth-like exomoon impact our search for habitable environments beyond our solar system?
October is here! Is their schedule with JWST in the first half or second half? Brian forgot to ask him how long before they get the data and analysis after that! But yes, very exciting 👌👍👏👏
I wonder if that possible Neptune sized moon was another planet altogether that orbits the same star and just happened to transit around the same time?
What was it? 51 Pegasi b. First Radial Velocity, Hot Jupiter detection in 1995. I remember Astronomers not accepting the Hot Jupiter Idea. Or the terrestrial planets closely orbiting a Neutron Star Idea. It really took more Hot Jupiter Detections for full acceptance.
What about the Binary Planet Theory. We're seeing a lot of them. What if the Earth Moon System is one of them. Formed from one nebula of the same Isotopic Ratios.
Space, Time and Information, not only the black ball at the center of the earth has information, the whole universe is full of information. Cosmic information keeps the Earth from getting hotter than 50 degrees Celsius. Do you like 50 degrees Celsius weather?
Hi Sir, ✳ You said that "3D animation 5-7 seconds for LOGO. " and I can get it done with Stunning results and fast delivery. You can check the strong portfolio to make sure. ✳ Would you like to see the 77-page portfolio pitch deck? Thanks, - Naomi.
The more planets, the higher odds that a human can not and ~never will be able to look at all of them very closely... Sorry, folks but that is reality for the sane.
If you have enough atmosphere, you don't need a magnetosphere. But, you say, _you'll lose your atmosphere without a magnetosphere!_ ... tell that to Venus.
Ask chat gpt this question if we manage to teraform any planet ok listen even if it has oxygen trees fruits vegetables we won't be able to eat or breathe on that planet because of the many different bacteria virus ask chat gpt after 250 0000 year could you breathe the oxygen of other planets and see what it tells you
I'm AOK with Mr. Greene and I'm not saying this stuff is not real, but again, this stuff is no more than modern day comic books for adults. *Maybe* in a 1K yrs, this might mean something...
Probably the best platform on the internet, no joke, this is what I look forward to every week. This is perfectly moderated and balanced.
Omg two of my favorite scientists together today what a gift!!
Brian Greene and David Kipping, Fabolous Duo.
I literally never thought I’d see that day! Happy me :)
Yep and this was sooooo good and covered what I wanted🌍🚀☀️🌟🔭

hello fellow nerds
Hello 👋 there
Lol❤
I‘m a nerd? Thank you
Sup nerd
🤙🏼
Good luck with Kepler-1625b. I'm a huge fan of David Kipping's "Cool Worlds" UA-cam channel. This interview just makes my enthusiasm for his channel that much greater.
Brian please never stop doing World Science Festival, i thoroughly enjoy listening to you and your guests. Best on UA-cam :)

Brian Greene is such a nice and friendly person, one of my favorite science communicators 🎉
Brian Greene is like anti-Bill Mahr
David is a brilliant communicator and should be more mainstream, perhaps the BBC should be using him..
He's British but he lives in America.
Hey that's David Kipping from Cool Worlds!
It’s actually his twin brother Michael Kipping
@@Kwisatz_HaderachXIII Do they orbit around Barry? :)
Hey that's Brian Greene from Science Festival!
@@dangerfly Everyone orbits around Barry, there at the centre of everything? :)
Thank you! Always a pleasure to listen to Professor Kipping.
Wow! This was a fascinating discussion with two brilliant minds! Thank You Brian Green And Dr. Kipping
OMG, as soon as I saw the title, I was hoping against hope that it would include Dr Briane Greene AND Dr David Kipping. Christmas came early this year 🤩
I love how Brian Greene is simultaneously really intelligent and still curious to ask great questions
There are DOZENS of us!
This is going to be interesting. I have been subscribed to Cool Worlds for several years. Always interesting, and well presented.
Love cool worlds! This is the crossover i needed!
What a great episode! Brian and David are the best!
Thanks for keeping us informed!
finally Kipping - talented scientific intellect and communicator. common sense and intelligence coupled.
Can’t wait, long overdue !
great talk! loved how focused it was
This episode was ExcOllent ❤
David Kipping was really on fire and completely engaging in this setting. Love it. In regards to planetary shapes, oblate spheroids FTW!
Two of my very favorite people ❤❤❤
Why is Superman talking about planets with Mr Greene?
😉
yeah, same with sam harris seems to be around that age when you start with "trt"
He is being mild mannered David Kipping in order to conceal his secret identity.
Kipling has been in good shape for the years I've been watching Cool Worlds, but yeah - he looks like he's leveled up in the last few months. My first thought was he got saucy.

Hello wonderfull person👋
Uber interesting! The idea that life might be more prevalent on moons is 🤯
Where Proff Brian is,then the topic gets easy to understand, same as Proff Michio kaku.I think knowing something is one side but passing that to other is the Art.Brian a good example of that Art.
Dream team level duo!
Great work! Thank you!
oh wow, cool! Good job Mr. Kipling!
Been learning from WSF for over 12 years now and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to listen to these amazing scientists. Future man will look back at these people and applaud their efforts in broadening our understanding to the behavior and meaning of life.
Good luck to you and your team!
I'm so excited to know the results you were talking about at the end of your talk!! 😊
David is awesome!
Thanks to both
Daviiiiid!!! Awesome stuff!
Very inspiring. Thanks 🥰
Such a great episode, thank you!
Thank you so much guys!
A great guest, im a fan of cool worlds too. Im always surprised at how few comments are made on wsf videos though. Enjoyed the video 👍
Very interesting guest. Thank you!
Amazing energy My inspirational Professors
I see David Kipping, I click.
David Kipping is brilliant. And HANDSOME.
DKip is awesome.
I'm very happy for you David that EXO moons are really starting to get exposure. Let's wake up the world and bring back the Wonder
Good show nice visualizations
Such a cool world!

Who TF tailor's Mr. Cool Worlds?!?!
That shirt is flawless❤️🔥

So it's October. Any RESULTS yet?
Hi what is holding everything in universe?
Cool worlds guy
Cool Worlds
🫨 Dr. Kipping of Cool Worlds fame!?! Dr. Greene sure is a lucky guy.
Thank you.
Brilliant.
You and others like you are writing the real bible ( science).
Mr english himself lol from my neck of the woods! 🏴
So what did they discover?! It’s November 20 now!
I wonder if that possible Neptune sized moon was another planet altogether that orbits the same star and just happened to transit around the same time?
What would a dedicated exomoon space observatory be like?
Hello
u have bout 30 day more see our vistor orbiting earth presently view as commit or is it intersella ?
But how do we know if they are really planets or not? Have they cleared their orbits or not? 😊
John Hamm, if he paid attention in science class
I'm playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein right now, BJ Blazkowicz doesn't go rogue. A funny coincidence.
I hope we would find hydro thermal vents inside europa, enceledus

I think exomoons should be called Little Kiplings

We must probe Uranus.

I have been in contact with moons beyond human comprehension.
How about a super duper Jupiter?
Or a superdoopernova
What a pretty man!
Yes I like intelligent interesting men too ,he is very attractive and articulate ❤

Wow
My thoughts on Brian Greene have changed
David kipping in bayes theorem
Brain should have shown more respect
Ok. But he did not show any disrespect.
If you have enough atmosphere, you don't need a magnetosphere. But, you say, _you'll lose your atmosphere without a magnetosphere!_ ... tell that to Venus.
Who is the fellow at.5.25 that thought exo planets didn’t exist?
Could a large planet like Jupiter be responsible for slowing the moon down allowing earth to catch the moon?
And isn't the moon much older than earth? And does that mean it's possible it was slowly released from a different planet, like mars for example?
@ChrisMaybury-mn2kk Look up "Proto-Earth and Theia".
What a strange start!!
EXOMOONS!
Yeah
I rely on string theory to have tenure
To pay my wage
And have relevance
Something something something string theory something something.
Exo juiced 😂
Is it a scratch to know about moons ?😆
Is a scratch to know about string theory !
