Two different types of tile on one roof looks odd to me and they should finish the roof on the edges with a dummy tile that do not need to be connected to the grid.
Surely they need to test each row for connectivity before finishing the whole roof only to find theres a bad connection somewhere. Whith all the joints in line like that isnt there a greater chance of rain leaking through to the owners roof beneath?
Design flaw?
Envirotile will never leak due to the innovative interlocking system . Circuit tests are conducted during the installation ( not shown ) 40 PVtiles = 1 K/Watt .
I thnk this is the same system that Kingspan has available... I would love to know what whattage you can get from a sqM of these tiles
150 watts per M2 6.6M2 =1 K/watt , not related to Kingspan product due to the patented unique interlocking system. Double AA fire rated tested by Warrington Fire services .
@@envirotile Hi is there anyone i can contact for a quote on this system? Whats the price per sq meter?
so just didnt show it finished after tiding was done?
have you realised when bosses were there the wires were nice and tidy after that wires were not and work was done faster!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
no ventilation going on, also water damage? bad news eventually
The tiles have no overlapping? So rain water can get in real easy i think. Hmm 🤔
Of course it's not the tile that keeps the rain out (as far as the rain barrier is concerned), it's the felt or other material that acts the rain barrier.
With Solar keep it dependable and affordable! Thanks please sub
Why didn’t they finish the entire roof? It looks odd like that and clearly has the ability to add 1 more power tile and non generating tile for edging
The battens don't go fully across the roof, so I'm guessing the other side is another property and only goes as far as the end of the battens!?
The Roof is completely finished ,customer couldn't make up his mind on what ridge to use existing or new , the video simply demonstrates how easy the installation process was and how quick it is to lay . I spoke with the customer recently and absolutely 100% watertight ,an independent MCS electrician connected the system to the mains ( phase 2 )
British Standard advises that Surround tiles are a requirement for integrated PV roof systems in the UK .
I'm guessing that you'd have to go with a string inverter setup for these. Having a micro inverter for every tile wouldn't work.
This means that they're not going to be very efficient on a shaded roof.
all I see is a roof that will leak....
Cant see them generating much electricity in the Uk lol
God it looks terrible.
