First of all, thank you for your amazing videos and all the effort you put in them. Second: as a lego enthusiast myself, and knowing how much time it takes to build one set just by blindly reading the instruction manual, how much time does it take you to realize one video? I think it's fairly obvious that there is also a lot of thought process done by you in how to build the sets (because you aren't following exactly the instructions, since they often jump around in steps), and there is also the shooting and the editing of everything. So i wonder how much time (and mind) consuming it is. Thanks.
Thank you so much for all these nice words 😊 and you're right, it took a while to realize that following manuals is a no-go here. Instead I just enjoy the build as is and then take photos as I disassemble the model so it's more presentable and easier to follow (unlike what's in the manuals). I also learn potentially tricky techniques used so that I can approach it the best way. Buildings are obviously easiest of them all as you just remove what's on top and then repeat. There is some planning needed for things like vehicles and other oddly shaped models but it's pretty straight forward at this point. I take anything between 1000 and 3000 shots a night (light changing during the day impacts the photos too much, even with black-out blind) and then just throw them into Premiere Pro in reverse order which gives you pretty much ready-to-go video that needs minor editing. So in short: can record 3000 pcs building in 1 night or 5400 pcs Venator in 4 nights plus 2-3 hours of editing (excluding rendering and corrections). Hope you now have a better picture (sic!) of how I work 😉
@@brickbybrickuk lmao i do now thank you so much! I thought the editing process was more difficult since i saw a "transitional frame" between brick popping in, but no, it's a mere merging of pictures at this point! Nice and cleverly done! What do they always say: "work smart, not hard" right?
Nah, still is! I'm a concept artist myself and even if i know all the "tips and tricks" of the drawing/painting world, i'm still stunned by most of the artist i love. @@brickbybrickuk

Just finished my castle today! This is so cool and I can’t even imagine how long it took!!!
It is right? It took me 9 days or so but that's including technical difficulty with camera which wasted 2 of them...
