Thanks so much for this! Was able to install mine with almost no issues. One tip: at 8:59 for the back seat lights, it is much easier to pry the larger, backside tabs off first. Then the piece just slides out. I discovered this after breaking a small front tab trying to pry with a screwdriver.
Thank You. The visor lights calls for a A6220 Bulb. That number may be hard to identify in an LED. You want a 31mm Festoon bulb. If you get an LED version like I did, be aware they are directional and the light only emits from one side, unlike the stock bulb. You should be able to see that in my video. Good luck! And thanks for watching.
Oh yeah! There really is no comparison. The interior overhead lights alone make it worth while. Also the inside trunk lights are so much better for digging through the trunk at night. Same with Glove box. My one complaint is the license plate light. It flickers and that will be a Cop Magnet. It was the one bulb that was a very different style than the others. So I will replace with with a name brand LED. But for the rest of the package I believe it is a worth while upgrade. Thanks for the comment and watching the video.
For that reading light next to the front map light could it be taken apart un soldered and re solder a white led in its place ?or is the whole housing sealed off fixed
hey Mike I'm trying to do this right now and I'm stuck at the part where I'm dying I'm doing the rear grab handle lights and I cannot tell which led is supposed to go inside that the ones that go in the trunk with the little Loop connector don't seem to fit and I have another type pair with more of a rounded Edge but I don't see how that fits in either. Can you shed any light which bulb did you use in those in the grab handle.
when I open my doors the dome and map light come on how do I get just the dome light to come on and not map lights looks bad with halogen and led on together
I believe that bulb is permanently glued into the enclosure. To get to it would involved breaking the seal. Then you would have to re-glue the casing. As far as disabling that bulb altogether, you can try pulling fuses, but I doubt it has it's own independent fuse. Logic would say that one fuse controls that entire assembly if not the entire interior. Another option to completely disable it would be to find the wire that powers that sealed halogen and cut it.
thanks Diesel Mike so you're map lights are not on also with door open couldn't tell on video but not sure why my car does that I've only seen one other video that has my same scenario but guy stopped video and just pushed on dome lights I figured was a setting somewhere for that option but I've checked in car menu can't find anything for it just looks bad with both on not sure what I'm gonna do but don't want to take that piece apart so I'll just live with it for now till I figure something out
I also have this issue. Map light used to not turn on when the door opened, but after installing the LED dome lights, the map lights also turn on when opening the door...any potential solutions to revert this?
Look on page 583 of your owner's manual. (585 if using the .pdf below) All interior bulbs listed there. www.automecanico.net/08/2014_Charger_Owner_Manual.pdf
The plastic putty knives can be found in any store that has a paint section, WalMart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. A screwdriver, ratchet and sockets can be found in the hardware section. Thanks for watching.
Hi Mike, I have just done this with my 2018 RT Charger. I had 2 left over, any ideas where they could be for? I did every light possible minus the two map ones. Do they absolutely not come out? Even with 2018 model? Little disappointed about that, looks stupid ha! Also, the map/dome light plastic cover is sticking on my drivers side. By sticking I mean not clicking like they normally do to switch on/off and the passenger side is fine. Any ideas how to rectify this? I have tried taking it on and off again and playing with it but to no avail! Thanks and nice vid!!
I can't say for sure about the 2018 model as I have never been in one. But if the overhead console looks like mine then unfortunately those other lights are sealed in the housing. Kind of a silly design. But being that you kit had two extra bulbs, maybe Dodge updated the design and you can indeed get to them. Wish I could help. But without seeing it, I just don't know. As for the sticking, perhaps the spring mechanism got damaged when you took it off? Good luck and thanks for watching.

Thanks man videos like this rly help not a lot of ppl make them appreciate it!!
This will fit my 2016 dodge charger right
What about the lights at the floor in the front seats?
Very helpful video, bought the lights directly from your link.
Great video and demonstration!!! Could you tell me the bulb size for the visor/vanity mirror please

This video helped me change my interior LED lights a lone for the first time
Thanks for uploading it🙏🏻
Awesome. Glad to hear that. And thank you for the kind comment.
You can get the map lights out without taking the whole visor thing off just use tape like you did with the glove box
Not so sure about that on this particular model. I can't comment on other years as I've never been in there.
What type of led light was placed on the back plate and how did you make it fit?
Whats the bulb specs on the lights
Does these lights have a purple tint to them?
No.
I used a screwdriver scaratched my visor really bad I knew not to Idk why I did I just want thinking
Nice video, helped out a great bit. But I find myself having difficulty with the footwell lights. Did you do anything with those?
No. They weren't part of this kit. I just installed an aftermarket LED footwell kit in my daughters car. No that's the way to go!
Hi Mike. Great video!!
Question: Is the brightness with the LEDs much improved VS. the incandescent? I may buy that same pack.
Thanks again!

Great! I just upgraded from an '06 to a '14 Charger and this will be one of the first things I do.
Thanks again for the tutorials!!

It's sealed.

The Rear Courtesy/Reading Lamps takes a W5W bulb. Search exactly like this in Amazon: "w5w led bulb"

Yoooo this was badass just did mine
Your videos are the best
nice vid man...I wanna try this stuff out but I'm not a gearhead by any means. idk
All I want to know is the size of the bulbs!

Hey Mike, what year is your car? My plate light is the only led on my car.
2014. Change them all over to LED. It's a much better light than the stock yellow halogens. Thanks for watching!
Great fallow along video for this!
Hey where can you buy the tools for this ??
The plastic putty knives can be found in any store that has a paint section, WalMart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. A screwdriver, ratchet and sockets can be found in the hardware section. Thanks for watching.
