Warm soapy water can I possibly be enough from rectal two oral. In fact, shouldn't you have a thermometer exclusive for rectal?

Mine won't beep 😢 and the instructions are to small

On mine I press the button until it turns on and beeps. It will show the previous recorded temp then will show the letter 'L'. Then I insert it under my tongue and wait until the thermometer starts beeping. Then your current body temp should be shown.
