Holy Cow! I had no idea! From my youngest memories there have been the Oakland A-s. Sal Bando was my hero and inspiration as a 3rd baseman. It's a pity it's money more than legacy these days. I do fear that our own Grizz will also be moved at some point. And probably to Nashville which would be worse than a dagger shoved into our collective heart, twist it, extract it, and then shove in our back.
BREAKING NEWS Oakland A.s Are Moving To Las Vegas And Deal In Las Vegas Becomes Las Vegas As And Oakland Losing Sports Teams Like Raiders Warriors And Athletics Come On Oakland Why Just Why Why Why And Oakland Athletics Are Moving To Las Vegas And Nobody want go to ballpark
Idiots who complain about the quality of the Oakland Coliseum don't care about baseball, or have never been there. The weather is perfect, the beer is cold, and if the cheapass owner would put a good team on the field the place would have good attendance. It is probably the only park in MLB where you can take your family to for the day and not be financially devastated. Fischer doubled ticket prices and sold off all of the good players. No one in their right mind would give money to a franchise that shits all over the fanbase. Good luck playing in 120 degree weather in Vegas.
@@MrHobo71 Exactly. The city of Oakland should sue Fischer for all of the taxpayer money that was spent to this point. They wanted to move to Vegas from the start.

Lets say you had a business. And in front of the business was a street that was so crappy no one would drive on it. SO you try to work something out with the city for 20 YEARS and all you get are obstacles, insults, broken promises, more hoops to jump over, more money to spend on the issue, and delays. Then one day you find out you can move to another town and the people there actually take care of the street. Would you say that was a bad idea? You shouldn't do it because the few customers you have will hate you?
Let's say you had a business and you refused to spend money or appeal to your customers. They stopped buying the product and you blamed them for it. You could have invested in the product and even built a new venue, except you went around convincing everyone that a new building couldn't exist in that spot and shot yourself in the foot with bad pr. One day you found someone who would pay for you bad product that you refused to improve. You found someone who will buy a piece of crap with the promise of improvement. You continued to make money before you left because other businesses were forced to share their profits, so you didn't have much incentive to put out a good product. You expected people to buy your product before you made a good one.
@@MrHobo71 Baseball is not "a product". Its entertainment. The Cubs fans went to Wrigley when they finished in nearly last place for 60 years (yes bad ownership did this) and played in a stadium with barely a restroom or place to walk. They still sold out. Explain please. I can -- the fans liked the entertainment even when the team lost. If the Cubs fans stopped coming all those years do you think they would still be in Chicago?

I just can't see tge Grizzlies going to Nashville. Besides, Nashville will likely get the next MLB club.
The Grizzlies belong in Memphis.
There are more opposition fans going to Raider games then raider fans. Mark Davis hates that with a passion,.

Don't blame Vegas. Oakland fumbled and Vegas picked it up.

Las Vegas couldn't carry Oakland's jockstrap. They're philistines.
the whole bay area is better than vegas, except for sports teams now
