A couple of months ago, I made a sims 3 hunger games challenge with book characters and Katniss burnt to death. I screamed "Katniss Everdeen the girl on fire!" So freakin loud and now I feel bad.
SIMS WAS SUCH A HUGE PART OF MY CHILDHOOD. I recently just went back on and created the entire lunar chronicles cast and it was just so fun. And dudeee, your ugly crying montage was so funny 😹
I think that The Last Star is an amazing finale to The 5th Wave and is worth a read. I know what you mean about the Infinite Sea, it was SLOW, but i thought it picked up in the end. The Last Star is soooooo much better, although it still can be confusing.
"Kids take on these life-threatening challenges" this is pretty realistic considering some of the Internet trends I've seen come and go from lighting yourself on fire to trying to swallow spoonfuls of cinnamon 😂

I loved the first half of The 5th Wave and the second half of The Infinite Sea and nothing from The Last Star. In fact, The Infinite Sea is probably my favourite because the second half is one of those 'battle-of-wits between a MC and the villain' and that is one of my all-time favourite types of stories. But apparently I'm one of few on that.
Omg!!! I actually thought clary as well but I thought no one else agreed with me! One of my favourite parts is when Luke tells her off for going in the portal to idris in book 3 and also when the blue warlock in the hospital (forgot her name) told clary that fighting isn't the only way to help in a war. That second one wasn't really a stupid decision but I was still glad that she was put in her place because her thought process was so naive and stupid-like. I still love her and the series though!
I recreated the characters from the Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima in Sims Medieval and I just recently recreated the Frasers including Brianna from Outlander by Diana Gabaldon in Sims 3.

I have the sims 1+ all the expansions that I found at a thriftstore a year ago. I own two copies of the original sims 2 game and night life (which has the original game built into it). I also own seasons and the christmas expansion for sims 2. I recently aquired sims 3 through origins and over the summer I probably played like 150 hours.
I'm STILL OBSESSED with the Sims! I haven't gotten Sims 4, though, because I still really like Sims 3. I don't get to play much anymore, though, like you said, too busy. I used to love to creating stories with it, doing videos, etc. Also building, LOVE building cool lots and worlds! So fun! I've played it from the beginning, when the first one came out. :)
I loved the Sims so much! I still have a ton of storylines I want to finish in my Sims 2, but there's just no time. And I'll join you in pushing Mal off a cliff.
The last star is only worth reading if you're interested in seeing how the trilogy concludes. It's not as good as The Fifth Wave, but not as bad as The Infinite Sea.
The sims on PC does indeed eat way too much into my time so I can't play it. I do play sims free play on my phone on and off though and I find it gives me a big enough sims kick :) I also did this tag a few weeks back as I love the sims so much :)
