- Amazing Charm pack challenge is fun and a challenge between 2 UA-cam Creators! We both had two of the same Charm Packs and the challenge was to use the same amount of fabric to make cute quilts. Well I believe we both won at the Charm Pack Challenge.

Love both the quilts. I also love an Irish chain but the way you did your 4 - patch with the striped charms made the stripes going 2 different ways. I would not be able to deal with that. Stripes would have to be going either vertical or horizontal, especially in the same block! I would bind in dark blue. Love a striped border but not worth the time and effort to find the 'perfect' one. I was laughing out loud when you were 'hunting' for your charm pack. Thanks for making me laugh! Love you both.
Thank you for loving our quilts Marcia. Controlling the stripes in the block direction isn't an achievable task when your working with charms. So I went with it and didn't let it bother me. It could definatley be resolved with yardage but not charms.

Both quilts are beautiful! It's interesting how your quilts shared more than just the fabrics (ie: the scrappy border.) You made me laugh when you were tossing those charm packs around at the beginning! Too funny! Thanks for sharing!

I think the navy would be good, just finishing the ‘frame’ your navy border creates 👍 gorgeous quilt 🤩 I don’t like combining pre-cuts and yardage because the precuts are never the size they say they are, and I found that out the hard way - resulting in lots of trimming and ripping 😞 Thanks for sharing 👏👏🇬🇧

Too funny, I was thinking that the navy stripe would be perfect for your binding right before you noticed it and said the same thing. The plain navy would work too. Have you ever done a faux flange binding? I think that would work in a coordinating color. Since only about an 1/8 inch shows on the front of the quilt a matching red might work or whatever accent color you want.

This Di. What you like April's quilt better?!??!?!?! LOL! I dont' know if I should answere your question, Ha, ha, ha.
April used a pattern to make the wonky squares and her navy fabric was from a jelly roll. She is going to put the name of the pattern in the description, it will be up by Sunday.
