I like your videos in the bag room, it gives the feel like you pulled a bag from the vault and you feature it. What I like on bags usually is looks and functionality, but recently I found that zipper action is something that can be very satisfying
Always a joy to see bag nerd-ism! The Topo Core Pack is actually my second venture into obtaining my problem (collection), which is buying more and more bags. I actually got the Core Pack before they've sold out on the Topo website a few years ago. I've used the Core Pack extensively pre-COVID. The main reason why I didn't keep using it was probably because I didn't like how short it is. I'm a fairly long dude. But everytime I kind of forget about those things and just use the bag. But I'm still not done with absolutely loving my TBB Conceal yet. Cheers Jt!
@jtinseoul - Is Recycled Firefighter still making the 24hr Plus? There's no mention of it on the website. I should've bought the 24hr Plus instead of the 24hr (which I still enjoy). These Recycled Firefighter bags are one of the best deals in rucksack-style backpacks. IMO, there isn't a reason to spend $150-$250 more than these backpacks. One of my favorites!
They told me they were discontinuing the 24hr Plus. I don't think they sold particularly well. In my opinion, it was the product photos that made it looks really goofy. In reality, it's a handsome bag that actually looks great in either of its configurations. One of my favourites. After that trip to Japan, I think I felt like it was a best friend, haha.
@@jtinseoul7041 honestly, I'd love to know more about the shoulder straps. Like, how they compare to goruck and perhaps how comfortable they are with a loaded bag. I've heard some things in the past about them being not so comfortable but I was wondering if they fixed that. You're great for asking, thanks a ton in advance. Peace and love from NYC
So, I've found them actually to be pretty good under load. I think the very first version of the bag had straps that used a bit less foam (guessing) but this version (V2) is pretty good! I think there are 3 versions totally. They still aren't as stiff as GR straps but in general I've found them to be good!
I'm a man and one of my fav color is pink lol. Korea is more relaxed on camos since the military is mendatory here so camo is more of a natural color here.
Haha. I always get asked why I left a lucrative law job to live in Korea working odd jobs. Reason one was the ratio of cost to temperature. Too hot, no good. Too cold, no good. I'm always in survival mode man. Living life on the edge lol.
Hi JT, could you answe a question about the ATD1 please? With Grouck bags I find it I put a laptop in the laptop compartment the bag becomes very rigid at the back and doesn't conform to my spine. Is it the same in the ATD1 or does it not effect that side of things?
The ATD is also pretty stiff even without the laptop. It definitely gets stiffer with one although the laptop takes up less of the full back panel compared to a Goruck. I actually like when a bag is stiff, so I can't say it bothers me.
My friend likes fishing. He has 15 rods. My other friend likes golf. He has a garage full of clubs. Ironically, I've never once thought to ask either of them if they were in modeling.
@@jtinseoul7041 I’m just playing. I’d have to sell a bunch of mine if I had so many to get other stuff I want. I’d keep my 4 favs. Pack Hacker has way more than you. 🤩👍
Great stuff!
1) comfort
2) frictionless experience getting laptop out
3) zippers
4) materials/build
5) joy to use

Glad you're still digging it! I really need to get a mod for the front of mine I think!
Great vid JT! Connections are the most important for sure! I'd also add quick access pockets for myself! Have a good one!
The more I get into these things the less I care about those as long as there is one haha. And loved the photo of your daughter with the Synik!!
I like the bag room background.
Happy to hear it, I think I'll be stuck in here for a while haha.
The BAG CAVE!! Yes! #5 is the best.
Agreed, and if I'm not careful I'm going to end up sleeping on that table haha.
Connections, yes. I definitely have strong feelings about the pack my daughter bought me for my 60th birthday.
I feel those vibes. I think my favourite bag is one my daughter (via mum) bought me for Christmas.
@@jtinseoul7041 That is great. I hope she gets to see you use it when she becomes a teenager/adult.
Thanks JT!

id love to get your complete take on the ATD1
Love the videos!
Very soon!
@@jtinseoul7041 incredible! 🤘🙏
I'd say in the next two weeks :) If you have any questions before, feel free to let me know.

Yay the pink bag!!!
Haha you know what went into that search haha.
Are you an English teacher? I used to teach English in Taiwan. Usually someone from the USA (or Canada?) that lives in Asia teaches.
Hi may I ask what camera and mic you’re using ?
In this video I'm using a Canon 6D MK II and a Rode mic.

Pink with a medium-dark grey is one of my faves. I love it on Rapha gear.
I've got two bags with pink and love them both. This one was literally one of my absolutely most saught after things.
Dude, you always look cold. Are you even Canadian?

What's the white bag in the back
It's the DSPTCH Daypack. White Dyneema.
bag cave and bagman?
Exaxtly. Although sounds a bit bad like that haha.
Why do you need so many bags? Are you a bag model?🤣
