I found the information to be very detailed and direct, and I respect your effort to make known to others that which we would've never seen and heard about all in one place and for this I say thank you, well done.
Omg! This documentary is so amazing that words can't do it justice! Thank you so much for the effort! I love you guys! In my opinion, in the beginning of civilization, people used the concepts of elusive intangible something (Idk if I want to call it being) as a way of abstraction and communication. It's like you feel something, but you don't know what it is, the exact same when we think there is something under the bed lol Almost everyone experienced that, right? People in the past experienced that when looking at mountains and storms and attributed feelings and moods to it the same as human feelings. If the storm rages, that something is angry. If the storm only provided gentle rain, he is happy. But I think in the beginning it was only a way to communicate these feelings as language was limited back then, and slowly developed into begging from despair to provide water and rain, and then into religion. And because humans are comfortable with human like shapes, they developed to have human like image and moods, and everything is history from there.
I still think religion is good for humans for building identity and national identity which is why i am a christian but i dont use it to explain the natural world, its just a way to connect with the universe,i guess for me its sort of like pantheism but with monotheism, idk kinda hard to explain

God is invisible in all aspects. He, it has never helped anyone I know. Please tel me why. I this nonsense was of it superstitious time and should have been left in that time. This has caused nothing but trouble for humanity since the day it came into vouge thousands of years back.
When analizing history, from the perspective of our ancestors, God is a primordial ''all-solving piece to all puzzles'' which our ancestors developed to explain what they could not understand, very likely a synonym of nature and its events.
I have never helped anyone you know… does that mean I do not exist? Perhaps the God of the Bible or many or all other religions is a creation of humans to try to explain or understand our existence. Every single religious book and religion could be wrong… that does not mean God does not exist. Perhaps “God” is something beyond our comprehension? An intelligence, a spirit, a something we don’t have a word for? I don’t know. I offer no answer. Only a question. Where did we come from? Where did earth come from? Where did the universe come from? The “Big Bang”? Okay, yes… let’s say it was the “Big Bang” (which happens to sound even more silly than the idea of a God creator). If the “Big Bang” created the universe? Who or what created the “Big Bang”? What ever that is, maybe that is God. No book. No stories. No myths. No chosen people. What ever created the “Big Bang”… that is God. If you and I landed on a deserted island, just the two of us, nobody else there, and we built a house, and one day inside our house, on the deserted island, we find a beautiful cake! How would we explain how the cake got there? Neither one of us made it. Nobody else has been there. There aren’t even any ingredients for the cake on our tiny island. Where did the cake come from? Only one of two explanations is possible. 1. Something or someone made the cake in a way we don’t understand, we have no proof of them being there, or any explanation of how they made the cake, or put it there. We have no proof of that person, or spirit, or anything. Just guesses. 2. OR the cake made itself? Since we have no evidence of anyone making the cake, then the best answer is… the cake made itself… out of nothing. As hard as option 1 is to accept, or believe, or explain, it is a FAR more reasonable and likely answer to the question than… the cake made itself out of nothing. That makes ZERO sense. The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence. We could come up with 1,000 different guesses/explanations of who made the cake, why they made the cake, etc. All 1,000 guesses could be wrong… that still doesn’t mean the cake made itself. Someone or something made that cake. Someone or something made the universe. Just because we don’t understand who or what that is, does NOT mean that thing, or person, or spirit did not make the universe. Unless if you can explain how a universe makes itself out of NOTHING, and where everything that can to be came from. If you can explain that or even a reasonable guess, please be my guest. But if not, I would propose, perhaps a creator God of some kind is a more likely explanation. Perhaps that God isn’t nice. Perhaps that God does not love us, or even care about us. That is still more reasonable than, the universe made itself out of nothing by making a “Big Bang”… which nobody can explain either. So many people are SO focused on proving God does exist or God does not exist. Try being comfortable with the idea, you don’t know and… you don’t have to know, and… you are not even meant to know in this lifetime. If you were meant to know, we would know. Death is inevitable for all of us. It will come sooner than we think. Perhaps then, we will get some answers. Until then, live your life, be curious, not skeptical. Be happy, not bitter, and make the most out of the limited time we have here. I don’t know what the meaning or purpose of life is, but I have a feeling we are meant to learn something while we are here. I also believe our time is best spent helping others while we are here. Do those 2 things, learn and help others, I think you will be okay. I hope so, for both of us. Take care.
@@deeppurple883 Two things. 1. I did not say or even imply that believing in God or not has anything to do with living a moral life. One can certainly not believe in God and be moral. 2. Believing and not believing in anything are absolutely not equal. If you find a cake in your kitchen, it is reasonable to think someone made the cake. Even if you did not see them and have no proof of who made the cake. It is FAR more reasonable to believe someone made the cake than saying, I didn’t see who made the cake, therefore the cake made itself. Or I don’t believe anyone made the cake. Honestly, that is nonsense. Many people believe in ridiculous version of God, that does not made God any more or less real. It is reasonable to say you are agnostic and don’t know either way, but to specifically believe there is no God or creator, is by far the least logical perspective. It is not equal. I didn’t see anyone make the cake therefor nobody made the cake is nonsense. The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence. Many people choose to say they are atheist in some sort of rebellion against religions. I too have a LOT of problems with most, if not ALL religions. But I am still logical and reasonable enough to understand, someone made every single thing that exists. No exceptions. To suggest the universe sprang into existence out of nothing is far less logical. Whether “God” is a spirit, a being, or a super computer and we are living in a simulation. Someone or something created this universe. For lack of a better word, that is God. Our universe and all its laws are FAR too organized to be anything random. Organization indicates intelligence. What that intelligence is, I can’t tell you. Many will insist they can, I believe most of those people are wrong. Here’s where it gets tricky… who or what made God?

Maybe yahweh is the one true God, the Bible is littered with God explaining that humans had it wrong for too long and he had to reveal himself. Could two things be true here. Could this just be thr historical context of the truth expressed in the Bible?
Jesus did not called Yahweh his father, in fact, he repudiated him. Jesus told the pharisees and others, their God was the father of lies, their father was the devil. Paul described God as the source of the cosmos and everything in it, that in which we live and have our very being. Yahweh was a jelous, genocidal maniac, who not only accepted child sacrifice but demanded it. (Molk sacrifices). The church has had to do a major moral dance around Yahweh to justify his actions. The gods were assigned regions, Yahweh's was the god of Isreal, that's it. He took El's position and consort Asherah. El is the Hebrew word for God, not elohim,. El was later found interpreted as Allah in Arabic which makes sense because Christianity, Judaism and Islamic religions are Abrahamic religions. Judaism acknowledged other gods but chose Yahweh as their god.... that's called henotheism.
Speaking of David and Goliath why does the bible say Elhanan killed Goliath? Don't tell me that Elhanan killed Goliath's brother that's not what the bible says. That's how you get out of a discrepancy which there are many.
Just because you believe in God dose not make him true. This is real history and the truth. What do you think is the alternative. The Bible. Give me a break.
Faith is the substance of things HOPED-FOR, so the more Faith that one has, will be equivalent to the more imaginary substance or evidence that the person carries in their head,,,,,,how can you argue with that logic ? 😊
People who don't have a background of history think that the Bible was the ''origin'' while in reality is a ''copy'' of a thousands-years-old heritage of civilizations which spawned and expanded all around the Middle East, from Turkey until Yemen and Oman.
