I just love the shape and size of the 997/996 and prefer its lines over any other Porsche, even more than my spyder. Never drove one though. I can’t seem to want the 991/992 as they look and feel a bit too boxy and insulated, and prefer the Cayman/boxter rawness.

I don’t know wether I should go for a brand new 992 as I agree with a previous comment from Zaheer that the new Porsches are too much Volkswagen group infused!. I’d like the last of the original Porsches!.

Assalaamu’alaikum brothers, I’m in the market for a 997.2 911. Still deciding between a coupe or Cabriolet. 🤔 would appreciate any advice etc to help me make a decision. Is the roof of the cabriolet easy to live with etc?. No issues as such?

Walikum Salam, the roof of the 997.2 is very easy to live with. Biggest consideration is actually how often you will realistically drive top down. Otherwise it is pretty reliable
