When it came out i spent 4 hours playing. I gave up. 3 months ago i came back and boom..... platinum trophy. Its amazing what getting in to dark souls did for me. It made me realise that bloodborne is the gratest game of the ps4 exclusives. By far. If i had a ps5 im sure id feel that way about demon souls
I'm a first time player to the souls game, and I spent 45mins trying to beat the wolf barehanded with no avail, because I had no clue what I was supposed to do, and that's where i quitted the game.
This video may have saved the game for me. I wish the game itself is a bit friendlier to new players, not in terms of difficulty, but just a bit more instructions and explanations of things at the beginning.

What makes you different from the other channels is that your walkthroughs explains your recommendations on each next move to make, suggestions on which weapons to use and hints on what to expect in the game. If I want the best teacher to aid me in completing a new game triumphantly then you are the number one go-to. I like your honesty such as when you confess you have thoroughly played the games beforehand on your walkthroughs. I’ve gained complete confidence and trust in what you say which was eye-opening in realizing that other channels may be lacking. Of course other channels each have their pluses and minuses, that being said, you get the gold crown as being the most generous in sharing all your preferred tools to win the game.
Cowboy, you’re a legend for this walkthrough series. Picked this game up in 2020 and couldn’t last more than a few minutes in Central Yarnham, started following your videos this year, learned to git gud, and today I have my first Platinum thanks to you.

This brings back fond memories of the 1st time I went through Central Yharnam. It was my 1st soulsborne and I spent days trying to make it through, and I was so sucked into the world I couldn't quit no matter how many times I died. Started my soulsborne journey.

Yeah I'm on my 20th or so try. I hate it. I still want to get through and I'll keep trying because I have no life, but man I hate that games are made so elitist in their difficulty.

@@MetalNick its so worth it man. After bloodborne I played ds1, 2, and 3, as well as sekiro and I blazed through them all no problem. After you learn how to play Soulsborne games, you can play them all. They're atmosphere and lore are unmatched, as well as how rewarding they feel. Dont give up, skeleton

Do you know if bosses actually get anymore aggressive by difficulty because it seems like they are more angry and are harder to get alone. Or am i imagining it 😂

Beat Sekiro, and Elden Ring, time for Bloodborne haha. I always play every game on hard mode or the hardest mode also so that helps with these games for sure! I find games too easy on normal difficulty etc . But I have played games for 32+ years 😅😂

Yo man I've been following your walkthroughs for the past couple weeks. I went all the way through Demon's Souls remastered and just finished Sekiro. When these games first came out I really enjoyed them but ended up putting them down because i didnt know what i was doing and they became overwhelmingly difficult. Using your walkthroughs I've been running through all of From Softwares games and having the time of my life. About to dive into Bloodbourne. Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to put all of these together they are the most comprehensive and easy to follow walkthroughs I've ever found. Saw cleaver is actually only serrated when it’s in it’s smaller closed form FYI!
Yes I was about to post this, it's the saw spear that's serrated in both which is one of my favorite weapons in the game

@@Packmanfan224 go to the headstone at the bottom of the stairs. If you’re going down the stairs it’ll be on your left side then click x on it and it’ll ask you if you wanna go to where you started. I don’t remember the name it’s like 1sr floor or something

I never finished the DLC, I stopped after killing Maria to play Sekiro and decided to go back a week ago. I had to do a double take on the dates of these videos when I looked them up to help me out. Is Bloodborne in the air or something? I noticed other new Bloodborne videos being posted.
I bought bloodborne on psn because of the holiday sales. Maybe thats why there is a bit of resurgence of this game. I finished Sekiro lately, planning to play other FromSoftware play games while waiting for Elden Ring.

I think the game was just recently made free on PS Now for the PS5. Not sure though; I just recently started using PS Now. Didn't think a game streaming service was worth it until I saw what was listed.
it is free on ps plus, not on ps now. unfortuneately it is just the basic game, not the old hunter edition. and the full game with old hunter is on sale and cheaper than buying the dlc old hunter to the free ps plus basic edition of bloodborne. just fyi... i was thinking about getting it, but I can‘t stand the 30fps at the moment :-/

@FightinCowboy; I booted this up in memory of a friend who passed. He introduced me to Souls games, essentially, via Bloodborne; however, I never really gave it any effort at the time. I didn't fall in love with Souls games until Elden Ring. Now, I'm hooked. I've been going back through older games; Sekiro, etc, and I decided to give Bloodborne another go. Your walkthrough made it a very enjoyable experience. I also see, now, why he loved the game so much. Thank you sir! 🤘 (finished your walkthrough, and got all trophies)
This is the single most useful video for the ultimate beginner. I got this game a few months back and it is my first souls game. It was too unforgiving and I lost hope and gave up. I came across your video and gave the game another try and now I’ve gotten through the cleric beast which is a great achievement for me considering how much of a beginner I am. Thank you so much!
This is the worse video for a beginners ngl first off the saw clever is not the best weapons for beginners the hunter axe is also why is he trying to parry regular enemies he also doesn’t explain that you need to use r1 after staggering an enemy to parry he just does it without explaining he doesn’t even mention the rally system till halfway to the end and doesn’t explain it if you are he doesn’t explain how the enemy types and how they attack he just goes in and starts fighting this is by far the worse video if you are a beginner this guy will make the game 100x harder for you lol I’ll give him a pass because this is 2 years old but if you are completely new to souls game and bloodborne this is not a good video for you

I’ve just beaten the DLC with your guide (kinda, didn’t have the runes and such, but I used your videos to help navigate, this is my first souls game and I was actually about to uninstall out of pure hatred for the unforgiving nature of this game, and then I found this, and it became 50x easier, you also helped me get Ludwig’s Holy Blade to +10 which is just ripping bosses apart with 3-4 charged heavy into slam connects, I’ve really enjoyed the game now that I understand how it works, I went from relying on friends to help with bosses to doing them by myself! Purely because of your precise guidance through Elden ring I’m now playing and hooked on bloodborne. I tried it when I first got my ps5 but really didn’t take to it at all. I’ve changed the brightness to suit me rather than follow the guide on screen and it’s so much more viewable. And with a little watch of your guides now and again I’m progressing much further than I thought I would a couple of years ago. Many thanks for the hours you put into these walk throughs. 🙏 ✌️

I was getting shit on for 3 hours and I'm a ds3 +8 vet and both ds1 and ds2 vet as well multiple playthroughs, this guide aided me in breaking the habits from froms other games.

So I just got into Soulsborne games and started with Demon's Souls remake and watched your walkthrough. After two playthroughs, I moved onto DS remastered, watched your vid, and then after two playthroughs, moved onto the next. Then got to your Dark Souls 2 "walkthrough" and saw the drop in walkthroughiness and was totally bummed. I just started Bloodborne and was looking for the same kind of "let's play" style and was shocked to see you remade your walkthrough video! Thanks so much for this! coming back to this after i literally just platinumed this game, what a damn journey. id never be able to get around this cramped and confusing world without your help, and frankly idk how ppl were beating this game on their own. literally im9possible to do anything without a walkthrough for this for me, the landscapes are the too confusing and everything looks the same in a lot of areas so it ends up tripping me out and confusing me. luckily, i had you. thank you so much for the help!!!

It's my first time playing a game from this genre and I wasn't sure if I should get Elden Ring, so I decided to buy this game instead to see if I'd like it, after three days of frustration I could get pass the first Brick troll, I was sad cuz I thought I had wasted my money on a game I wasn't gonna play. I started watching this guide and man, it has been a life safer. Thanks to you I'm done with Central Yharnam and everything seem a bit easier now. Now I can say I'm glad I'll be able to finish this game
I remember when this game came out i bought it on day 1. Didnt know "souls like" genre was a thing. The wolf killed me and the next day i went to Best Buy and traded it in. Got $40 for it.
Elden Ring came out and i loved it!!! Now looking back at this video it makes me want to go back and give Bloodbourne a chance.

Have patience. It's way different than the Souls games. I basically needed my friend to co-op to beat the game after about 1/4 in to it. I'm horrible at boss fights until I have homie start the fight with me and can backstrap bosses. Good luck

Was thinking a lot and yes,for me it's the video game #1 of all times. So many things to try,to challenge yourself. It was first rpg/souls game that I played ever. It was hard as hell at the beginning.

Tried this game when it first came out. Got murked by the werewolf and uninstalled the game lmao. Just picked it back up after getting the platinum trophy on elden ring and man im loving this game so far. If they did a demons souls style remake itd be CRAZY
I have literally rage quit Bloodborne many times because of that executioner. I eventually got used to it and killed him without the visceral attack, as he killed me at the same time.
I just started playing this game for the first time ever on the PS5 because it's free right now and that executioner is such a pain in the ass. I mistakenly got the blunderbuss as well. Wish I got the pistol.

I gave up on Bloodborne after it took me like 2 hours to make it all the way to the bridge only to get slaughtered by the lycanthropes. I'm trying it again after 2 years of letting it sit idle and this walkthrough has actually helped me get to the next lantern. Thank you so much!!!

@@SirAthiro if it's okay for you to elaborate, how so?
@@IchiGurou Sure! The three biggest issues I have with it is: 1. Dark atmosphere + bad eyesight = confused navigation.
2. The psuedo need to grind for healing items can be a chore. I say psuedo because I'm aware some need to grind more than others, if at all, and I'm one who hates running out of essential items.
3. The more offensive fighting approach as opposed to DS's more defensive fighting approach makes it a little too easy for me after reaching a point in the game; not hyper leveling, mind you. Orphan of Kos is a perfect example: he demands aggression which I'm all to happy to slap around and even risk tanking a hit because either I can slap for health back or scoot back while he's in a tizzy to inject some HP.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game at all, but when I personally compare to the others (minus DS2) I have less fondness of it.

Jesus I always go back to this guy for every souls game I swear I try to get through every game by myself end up getting stuck not figuring out where to go or how to unlock certain areas and watch one of his videos realizing I’ve missed a lot more than I realize so I end up just watching from video one 💀

Love watching your play through of Bloodborne! Currently in NG+. Haven’t played the DLC yet. I think the boss that gave me the most trouble was the Martyr. That was some straight horse$&@! !!! 😂
Martyr? 🤔 and the DLC bosses are always harder in these games. So buckle up. Lol. Ludwig is hard and Laurence is brutal. Lady Maria isn’t bad if you know how to parry and the failures are easy. Mixed reviews on orphan of kos. I found him easy but that’s because I used a gunslinger build so counters and ranged fighting was easier.

Your walkthrough series managed to give me confidence enough to give the game another chance. I loved the theme, but the difficulty scared me off (Difficult to spend a long time on intense fights with fucked up hands). I watched part 1 and realized that the biggest difficulty curve is actually knowing where to go and when to go there, and combat can be managed with a good optimized build, and some extra leveling up.
So now I'm at NG+, and the only thing missing for a Platinum is killing the queen the in Chalice (which I may try on NG+)

If you play it carefully and use mollys to your advantage, its pretty easy
I bought this game years ago, it should have been right up my alley but I could not get through the first area. In the last years I have tried to pick it up twice but still could not get through it. Now I watched the firsy two episodes of your walkthrough, beat my first boss and got a much better hang of the game. Went in blind from there, stumbled upon the second boss and beat him first try! I know this game will het harder, but I just neede someone to get me through that first section. Thanks man!
I'm SUPER happy someone is making a play/walkthrough of BB in 2021. HOWEVER, i would really like that you maybe talk about the Lore as you're kinda go through the game. I know people have made several lore videos..i just think it would really make things interesting for newcomers, as the story is pretty incredible !
