@@precisionrifle1 Right on man, thanks for the feedback! Do you use an ear foam plugs with your Sordins for added protection? If so, which ones do you recommend? TIA! 👍
@@km_attack I do when shooting my .308 at the range. I just use generic foam ones. It works to stop the really loud crack and the electronic MSA’s amplify everything else. Works great!
The biggest drawback to the Sordins is the fact that you can't adjust the headband size. I have a big head (7 5/8 hat size) and they BARELY fit me. That said, you really didn't compare them to the Peltor at all in this video. Why would you call it "Why Sordins are better" if literally the only thing you're going to compare is the battery life?
@@jaredpound9654 Yeah, I knew my complaint, but plenty of other people don't know about it. And this video was SUPPOSED to compare the two, and he didn't. A longer battery life is a pro, but not fitting your head is an absolute deal breaker for most people. Receiving criticism on your videos helps you grow and make better content.
With what peltors are you comparing these too ? There many peltors. Just for example, the peltor sporttac and peltor comtac xpi. Which peltor do you mean ?
Hey mate, I've just picked up a pair of these and I found that there is a bit of white noise that seems to be at the same noise level regardless of the volume setting, have you found this to be thr case on your set?
Check out the MSA Sordin Supreme Pro Hearing Protection here - amzn.to/3sgMWJt
Great video, thanks for the helpful content. Why did you need to replace your old set? Were they starting to fail?
@@km_attack yeah they stopped working after 3 or 4 years of very hard use. They copped a beating over that time haha

The sordin supreme head band is for sure adjustable and a way better the the peltor adjustment
@@fredvanderschaar3023 The new ones are. The old ones, like mine, are not.
So basically you already knew the answer to your only complaint about the adjustment , You just felt the reason to negatively comment why?

Hey man he compared the weight too. Msa’s are a whole 30 grams lighter 💀

He did say peltor 3 in the beginning.
I don't know why so many UA-camrs think music is more important than narrative. Maybe someone can explain it to me.
Yeah I defs had the music too loud in this one haha appreciate the feedback 🙏🏼
Recently bought the Supreme Pro-X. Did they come with gel caps...or is that an option? Asking because they really are comfortable and so a great job.
the regular supreme pro x do not come with gel pads unless it’s bundled or you buy them separately, the led version comes with the gel pads stock
i picked up a pair of the regular supreme pro-x but it came bundled with the gel cups

My Sordins got wasted due water corrored mic and wire between cups peeled. Batteries last long time, not bad overall.
Just picked up a pair of these with the added LED light. Can’t wait for them to arrive this week 👍🏼
You won’t be disappointed
How did you like it? Does it offer proper stereo that allows you to know where sounds come from unlike walkers?
@@Kids-og1okyes these offer stereo sound, the walkers are omni
You can get gel cups for the Peltor 3M as well, though.
Would these work good for like a machine shop where you need ear plugs?
Yeah they would be great 👍
Do you really get 600 hours out of them though?
That’s what’s on the box, but from spending a lot of time wearing them over the past 5 years or so I have found that the battery life is really good
No, it's probably closer to 100 hours depending on settings, outside temp, and battery type/quality.
