How much better than supreme pro x in hearing protection? I like how simple supreme pro x is, just turn on and go. No modes to fumble with. However I double up because I don’t fully trust the hearing protection of supreme pro x, but do need to high volume hearing of the device
Can you please educate me about the SNR? Is it for the other noises to reduce the noise and provide protection? Not for the impact/impulse noise? Because that SNR is not enough to lower the gun shot noise to a safer db level if you just deduct it.
@@kennethvillarete1999 SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) and NRR (noise reduction rating) are two different things. Your confusion is understandable: "noise" has two different meanings here. For SNR, "signal" is the data (audio, radio waves, etc.) you want to receive. For "noise," think "interference": spurious emissions from power lines, microwave ovens, car alternators, or the device's own electronics. Spurious emissions (noise) are a physical fact: maximizing SNR is the challenge for electronics designers, manufacturers and users. For example: I'm an amateur radio operator. I live in a congested area of a major city. The "noise floor" (baseline of spurious emissions) is high here. The most effective way for me to maximize SNR is to take my equipment portable and operate from somewhere _outside_ the city. NRR is a measure of attenuation of ambient sound. Here, all ambient sound is considered "noise." All hearing protection, both active and passive, carries a stated NRR. As noted in the video, decibel (dB) is a logarithmic scale, not a linear one.: 3dB is a doubling of sound (or other inputs, e.g., radio signals, measured in dB).
Probably, but I do not know. Can see at Sordins homepage that they have been delayed until first quarter 2025. My impression is that it will be a world wide launch. Have a nice day, Tobias
MVH Tobias
Are these ever going to come out? Y'all keep pushing the date back...

Hello, does it cancel the impulsive/impact noise from a rifle shot very quickly to a safer db level?
Yes, absolutely.

Is/will these be available in the USA?
Probably, but I do not know. Can see at Sordins homepage that they have been delayed until first quarter 2025. My impression is that it will be a world wide launch.
Have a nice day,

Can users communicate directly from unit to unit via Bluetooth, or do you a separate radio?
No, as far as I know you will need a separate radio.

Any upgraded sound for hunting? Compared to the pro x led
Yes, the sound should be upgraded. Have not tested them myself during a hunt, so I can't tell from my own experience.
Regards,
Tobias

Be nice if we could find these
I think they have been a little delayed, but they should be released during this fall, if I'm correctly informed.
