Jo is UA-cam gold!! I think I prefer the touring not sure I could get away with looking cool enough for the winged car at my age. I love the elegance of the touring and this generation of 911 (except the Dakar one) is brilliant.
Hi Ped Good to see the Pups having a treat, hairdressers and rude in a posh car in one day!🥰 I am surprised Jo is even speaking to you let alone accepting an invitation for a ride in the Touring.😂 I guess it must be my age, but finances permitting, it would be Touring ( no wing) PDK, & sports seats 18 way adjustable. Practical, understated, fantastic euro tourer and still a useable daily driver. OK we can all have a dream😎
Your neighbour is an absolute hoot!! Tough question that. Wing or no wing? I'm inclined to go with no wing. Both are very beautiful cars and both are very worthy of the GT3 badge. Great vid as always buddy.
Hi Pete a fantastic video and a good daily perspective to show how versatile the GT3 Touring can be. But as you say not that attainable for us mere mortals. Still a marvel of engineering and art. Steve
Oh mate Hi 👋 Great to meet you and no need to apologise. I always love meeting you guys. It’s very special. Have a great Christmas and let me know when your replacement 911 turns up 👍
Such a ace video!! Very much enjoyed watching this! The part with jo was a nice treat lol. Great job Sir Pete!! Top notch quality video!!! I’d have to keep the wing!! And option comfort seats as if never take it on track but would road trip with it a lot if I ever got one. Also this video spoiled us all with having the dogs in it to 😊
Great video and interesting perspective, Pete! I am surprised to hear you prefer the GT4RS! I would not have anticipated that opinion from you. I concur on 18 way seats for the Touring and preferably in manual! Strong work!!
Like how one of your pet dogs 🐶 duly comes into the shot of your wonderful 992 GT3 Touring video & for me it would always be this model but my colour choice would be Frozen Berry if that option is available upon the iconic Porsche 911 model, but honestly for me PDK with it's technology is the better gearbox.
I’d go for the regular GT3 every time. The wing can always be removed if you want. If you do remove it, you’re left with that slightly more aggressive small duck tail at the back instead of a Carrera rear end. Looks way better.
the aero has to be balanced at all times unless you want a very big accident. Therefore any reduction at the rear would mean altering the front as well. Also your insurance company may not accept such a fundamental change of spec from the original.
Awesome video Pete. I daily drive a 991.2 Touring. The noselift is a must and indeed, the fixed buckets make access to the rear a hassle. I also take it grocery shopping and the frunk is big enough for most of the stuff. It’s only when the huge packs of toilet paper are on sale I put them in the passenger seat 😜. As for the nose lift: mine drops at speeds over 65 km/h and mine doesn’t have the GPS option, that would be really cool to have! The pups look great after their haircut (more like pulling hair out on Snauzers no?). Keep up the good video’s and looking forward to meet you on an event 👍
Hi Mate. The proper thing to do is ‘hand strip’ which is basically pulling hair out. We have the clipped as they are being shown or anything like that 👍
Hi from Australia. I have a 991.2 Touring bought it a year old in July 2019,from lovely people outside Melbourne and drove it back to regional Queensland on every twisty road we could find. This was about 5 weeks after a total knee replacement on my clutch leg. The pain was cancelled by the amazing noise and fun of this car. Have had our Boxer dog in the back past those fixed bucket seats with difficultly but she loved it. The resale value of these cars in Aus is ridiculous. Fantastic video Pete.
Wow, brilliant brilliant video. Both my dad and I wanted one for Christmas - sadly Santa left a note saying Porsche had told him we hadn’t bought enough cayennes! Always remember a great moment years ago when my dad picked me up from the gym after doing the tesco shop in a saucy 911 (turbo rather than gt3) that he was considering upgrading to - I overheard some young lads skateboarding who saw him turning up all being like “phhhhwwwwoooaaaarrrr”. Jo was amazing!
My instructor at a track day last spring had a 992 GT3 Touring. Part of the instruction was him taking me as passenger for several laps in his car (manual transmission). My God, things happened fast in that car!!! But it never felt unsafe or out of control, it was just a car with incredibly high limits. But it was comfortable when not being flung around (really, really great seats) and was just another 911 in terms of space and accommodations. The only flaw for a daily car would be that voice from the car that whispers "Go faster" in your ear all the time.
The pinnacle of drivers cars methinks, what a sound. Jo is hilarious "don't break me in gently!" Your right though, it's a shame that only the chosen few will experience such a car.
To comment, or not to comment....?! The best thing that Porsche does, is market the 911 in many different forms to suit every buyer. Brilliant! Wing or no wing discussion continues..... I dislike the plastic wing on the Touring, wish they put a ducktail on it. And prefer the swan neck. I personally think, or in my opinion, the GT3 is the high end sports car and the buckets are a must to keep in firmly locked in behind the wheel, even for tight twisty road in the country. I find them very comfortable, but I am not large, if a owner wants to have max comfort the GTS is probably better for them. PS, The steering wheel is adjusted too. Nose lift is a must, and the memory bank is really handy. I DO take mine to the supermarket and doctors etc. I daily it 3-4/week and love it. Got Jo with you again, you must want punishment Pete!! haha GT4RS?? I would say that is not flying under the radar, and not a daily, but haven't daylied one yet. Thanks for the upload Pete, and also the inclusion of the practicality, dogs, shopping, speed bumps, etc.
Love the pups! We adopted two female mini schnauzers (sisters) in 2012, they were 2 years old. They are also salt & pepper. Thanks for sharing them on your channel, add cheers from the US!
Porsche Ped that's very nice. Wouldn't want to be up here in Aberdeenshire with it at the moment we have a bit of snow but the touring with nose lift may help through the slush 😅
Hi Ped. As I commented on Harry's channel, about the specs being identical to the normal GT3 and it feeling softer and quieter. I think a lot of it is down to not having the cage installed. Surely the car will flex a little more, be a tad lighter and it won't resonate as much without all the tubing in the car? I used to notice it even when putting a roll bar in a Mini. It definitely feels different. Anyway, top video as usual. Would look better with red flaps though 😂😂
Love the look of the Touring. No wing for me. I used to have a Carrera 4S with an Aero package. With the weight of the engine on the rear and the downforce from the wing, the front could get light if driving quickly on undulating roads. The chin spoiler as last of the package helped but would catch on even tiny lips or curbs. Great video 😊
Great video again Pete fantastic car think if I could afford one I would definitely go for the original seats as they would be more practical what I like is you could use it every day I definitely agree with you any one should be able to buy one not just special customers. Your dogs are amazing too.
Wingless is far more Discreet and understated. Happy to have either seat options, but I get your reasons. I do like the Duck Tails on 911's though. Hence if the No's came up, I'd have a 911SC if possible.
Brilliant review as always. I keep telling myself I drive a 911 but the truth is its a silver mk3 tt. I too like the teardrop side profile that's what drew me to a tt. And the price lol.
What a brilliantly put together video. Great fun and a completely different take on it. Two points: 1. I’d go wingless and in that exact spec 2. Way to close to the trolley bay for my liking 😂
Deal killer is traditional spoiler. All Carrera spoilers except Turbo and Turbo S look like the trunk is open when spoiler is raised. Sorry for that folks, you will never see a Carrera spoiler the same again. Needs something closer to a Cayman spoiler.
Another great video 👍 wingless for me. Would junk seat option and take ceramics 😎 I just don’t understand why anyone that can drive would want to use rev matching🤔 you choose a manual for interacting and then use/want auto blip🙄
Great video as always, informative without being stuffy and very human. Have to say though that I would "fly under the radar" and go wingless. I would retain the 6 speed manual but I'd ditch those stupid bucket seats as I would never be tracking it and I'd want the miniscule rear seats as I have lots of grandchildren, all of whom would demand a lift in it. Probably means I'd have to have a "cooking" 911 then, ah, choices, choices !
I think that old saying “less is more” sums up this GT3 exactly and would be my choice if I could afford it and secondly if Porsche would let me order it which is very unlikely 😢. Haven’t previously purchased enough of their cars to be on the special customer list 🙄. Fantastic dream car though👍.
Brilliant pete and WHAT A MOTA perfect although I'm of similar age to you I'd have the silver one to leave you to cruise around in the hooligans version, some people will never have taste 🤣🤣🤣
Smashing video, regarding parking at supermarkets; my wife was almost tge only car in a carpark and parked well away from the entrance, came out to find someone had parked next to her car and managed to hit the car when opening her door. 🙄
GT3 Touring with the new sport classic rear wing. That’s the change I’d make. Aftermarket but so be it. That’s how I’d do it. I think the rear wing up in motion ruins the silhouette. Then option the passenger bucket in the hinged bucket so you can flip it for the back seat access via passenger door loading.
Got a 991.1 GT3 RS in 2016 and have it still. No GT3 Touring available then. Personally, I would definitely specify a GT3 without the wing. At a casual glance, especially to the uninitiated, the Touring appears to be a regular Carrera S, with its most harmonious and pure styling of the 911 range. I like the quality in any product of it being (much) more, than immediately meets the eye. I’ve taken that idea much further in some of my bespoke automotive builds, than the difference between a winged GT3 and a Touring, however. In my humble and highly subjective opinion, tastefully executed no cost spared sleepers rule and are at the top of the heap. The only Porsche currently produced that has a bit of that flavour is the Touring. But with a GT3 you can’t go wrong. Either wingless, winged or RS. 🤗❤️
Great car and all the more appealing with the manual gearbox, brilliant though the PDK is. The only thing I'm not so keen on is the lack of a rear wing.
Parked very close to the trolley station there 😱 ...I actually use the same car park and when I was in the store a few years ago having a coffee I heard over the tannoy if the driver of 'reg no' could come to the customer service desk please- it was my reg- so I went ....only to be told that someone had driven into my brand new at the time 2019Leon Cupra. I had parked strategically in a quiet part of the car park but it was for nought!
Nice vid Pete. Have a Schnauzer too and he is very happy in the front seat of my 991.1 c4s. Dream car is the Gt3 touring but as you said would need some of the more "daily" options
How did you know she's a screamer? Wink, 😉 😆 🤣 😂 Love Snauzers. I really don't like those big wings. They look so ungainly. Definitely the comfort seats. I really like that color and the wheels.
Este tipo es genial, solo por ver la cara de esa srta ya merece la pena ver el video y darle un me gusta 👍. Respecto al auto; simplemente es el AUTO definitivo.
The 911’s front end is a problem when it comes to kerbs and rises, is because of the length of overhang more than height. 👍 Lift kits definitely make it more manageable but get used to sideways approaches to drives and kerbs etc.
No wing for me. The only 911s I don't mind having the wing is the whale tail of the 80s cars. It flows well with the shape. And I love the automatic spoilers of all the models that come after - the 964 all the way to the 997. My fave. is the 993 RS - not the Clubsport version of the RS. The reason being all these massive wings ruin the lines of the beautiful shape. I can accept the 991 GT3 RS wings as they're not as big and intrusive looking. Just my 2 cents. This Touring is absolutely beautiful. Great video.
I ordered a GT3 touring without a second thought, the winged GT3 is a track car I would never take a car I own to the track. The car I ordered is a PTS British Racing Green Cognac leather interior and Gold colored wheels I got in contact with a nice German fellow named Justin Placek who does interiors for Porsches, he made a Tartan seat inner for my car based on my family Tartan. About the limited nature of the GT3 at least they're not as snotty as Ferrari. Love your channel I will post pictures of my car to your Instagram once I received it.
Would love to know how you managed to secure a UK build slot for a GT3 Touring ? You must be a very very special UK customer as nobody I know can even get a GT3 let alone a touring !!!
@@hpman911 Hello Jonathan, I'm not from the United Kingdom I'm from La Jolla California, in the United States. I believe that the US still has the biggest allocation of Porsche cars, I ordered mine earlier this year and recently got a build slot I should get the car second quarter, of next year. I'll send pictures once I receive the touring.
@@hpman911 Hello Jonathan, California is the state that gets the biggest allocation of super, and hypercars in the country and I've been purchasing Porsches, for quite some time now. So when there is a special car I get an email from Posche HQ asking if I would like to be placed on a list. I wish you and your family a Happy Holidays.
21:13 - 21:16 The expression on Jo's face has got to best the look of any wings. Should have referenced that in your video title. That'd be no need clickbaits!
Excellent piece! I think if you were speccing a Touring you’d be more inclined to opt for the normal 18 way sport seats which you can tilt forward giving easier access to the rear. The max speed on the nose lift is too low.. used to have C2S 991 with it and it was a pain. I can keep the nose lift on in my Huracan EVO rwd up to 45mph which is a lot more useful on really bad b roads or roads with lots of speed humps. It would be the touring for me, shame you’ll only be able to get them on the used market.. the prices are softening though.. winged GT3’s now readily available on the used market below £200k now and the cheapest touring at £235k.
Unless you are on incredibly friendly terms (ie you’ve bought a couple Cayennes in white, a few base 718’s they couldn’t shift, one or 2 Taycans & you are the DP’s brother) you ain’t ever getting into a GT car for anything approaching retail. See also certain Ferrari, Rolex, Patek etc…
Very very interesting video petrol ped As you say in the video it is depending on what you’re going to use it for. I think if you’re going to tour across France down into Germany or go down to the Riviera then I think the GT3 touring is good at that Thank you very much for the video. Thoroughly enjoyed watching it Looking forward to more videos. Thank you
I have to say, wingless for me. If you're going shopping in a Porsche then it has to be Waitrose ! I used to pop to the supermarket in my F-Type. Have to say there were a couple of occasions where Id come back to find a trolley stuck in the side, not sure it was accidental. Should have gone upmarket!! Not that I could ever afford one, but I think you are right when saying its a shame that its only available to a select few.
My favourite car and i'll never have one. Life sucks. To be rich as you is amazing, no problems, no issues, no worries, just happiness. And if you don't have any, you can buy it.
After taking a 992 Turbo s over a five hour run, I think Id have the Turbo s over the 992 GT3 touring/GT3 992. The problem with the GT3 992 on uneven road the car can feel like on country roads that it wants to throw you off the road. Great video btw #ashgood Porsche....and rather have a PDK, manual is just a bit ....well harder work
I've been lucky enough to have a GT3 and now a Turbo S. If you do mainly track driving take the GT3 but for the UK roads and continental touring the Turbo S is by far the better car.
Great video Pete! Spread your wings and fly! If one feels self conscious waking up, you don’t take the Porsche, you take the grey Focus😂 (I’ve got one, alongside the GT4RS😉). Great to hear you can see past the elitism of 911 ownership and choose the GT4RS, as it just next level hooliganism and makes any 911 just plain boring😂 Say YES to the boy-racers in you guys! GT4RS 🔥
Great car - great video. I must say, that this engine is better suited with the PDK. It’s near impossible to play with the full rev-range with manual….
Excellent review Pete, but if it were me, I'd have parked tight in to the trolley bay, so at least one side was protected...... I even do that in my sh1tbox daily, its a hard habit to break.... I do wonder if the more practical/comfortable seats would give similar support.... maybe they would encourage slightly more 'sensible ' driving..... I doubt I'll ever find out sadly....
The difference you're feeling to the sharpness is entirely the tyres. Cup 2's are as close to semi slick track tyres as you're likely to get on a "road" tyre. The Pirelli PZero Corsa's are more road focused (just a look at the tread pattern makes that obvious - with more grooves and smaller blocks). According to Porsche the Touring is literally mechanically the same car as the non touring (with the obvious exception of the rear wing and interior), so there is no other explanation for any difference in the way the car handles or feels than the two cars you drove were on different tyres. (unless temperature was also playing a part).
Absolutely NO wing! Wings on cars make them look like toy cars for 13 yr olds. I'd never order a wing on ANY sports vehicle. Ferrari makes their incredible cars go over 200 mph without rear wings. A pop up spoiler is cool, a huge wing is tacky. My opinion. Love your dogs.
I think the touring with sports seats and use it every day as a road car. I always park my car away from everyone and without fail even if there are empty spaces some muppet parks right next to me!
As Chris Harris said, at speed the bucket seats are amazing, but going through town this GT3’s suspension tosses you around at slow speeds. I’ve found myself thinking “I wish the more comfortable and daily-driver friendly GTS had that body coloured front end and hood.” Don’t get me wrong the car is amazing, love it, but if you’re not a track-head and more of a back country road drifter who loves sunny drives through picturesque small towns and villages, you’re better off in a GTS. As epic as the GT3 is, it’s like all those high end ‘off road’ vehicles the market is flooded with, where 90% of them sit in shopping centre parking lots and will never see a muddy/ rocky trail, your GT3 will likely never see a hairpin turn.
Pete great movie. 2 important questions. Did you notice the 2 for one offer on the salad? 2. Did you scan your loyalty card? Mike (Oakgreen 718 Spyder!!)
Jo… “oh Pete can’t you break me in gently!” .. lol best Jo quote ever, snigger snigger 🤭
😬😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
I like the plated ‘plaited leather’ finish on the dash, a nod to early air cooled dash in fill panels.
Jo is UA-cam gold!! I think I prefer the touring not sure I could get away with looking cool enough for the winged car at my age. I love the elegance of the touring and this generation of 911 (except the Dakar one) is brilliant.
I don’t get the Dakar 🤷♂️😂
I just loved the everyday experience and the way that you described how people who love sports cars should use it , thanks , great video!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!

This was the week before the race car 👍
This touring is beautiful, manual and active wing is just a win all around with this body body!
What a lovely design and a definite future classic. I would certainly forego the wing. I also love the look of the targa.
Me too 👍
Your neighbour is an absolute hoot!! Tough question that. Wing or no wing? I'm inclined to go with no wing. Both are very beautiful cars and both are very worthy of the GT3 badge. Great vid as always buddy.

Definitely need the spoiler.. nice you involved the family in your video.
Brilliant review.A lot of gt3 touring reviewers out there, but u have commented upon some relevant ,unique and specific points
Thanks 🙏🏻
Hi Pete a fantastic video and a good daily perspective to show how versatile the GT3 Touring can be. But as you say not that attainable for us mere mortals. Still a marvel of engineering and art. Steve

So so british - sleeping policemen - i need to get my evening tea - etc. Etc. I absolutely love the style and form from Petrol Ped 👍😁
LOL…I’d not thought of that but I am very British 😜😂😂
Great video. You can always take the wing off the GT3 and then get that unique, understated look you are looking for.
the aero has to be balanced at all times unless you want a very big accident. Therefore any reduction at the rear would mean altering the front as well. Also your insurance company may not accept such a fundamental change of spec from the original.
Just subscribed. Very funny review, Pete.
Welcome aboard!
You obviously love this car ! How right you are. And as you suggested, I would opt for the Sport comfort seats. The dream 911 😎
Great one, again. And the dogs made it perfect !
Ah thanks dude 👍
Awesome video Pete. I daily drive a 991.2 Touring. The noselift is a must and indeed, the fixed buckets make access to the rear a hassle. Great video MR PP! The Touring is the car I would have, subtle yet stonking performance.....why choose anything else! Porsche, there is no substitute!
Right on!
Jo was so funny. Love it.
👍
I'm with you Pete.... Deffo the wing! It just makes it look so much more dramatic and cool 😎 Great video Sir 👍
Indeed 👍
My wife tells me the dogs need to be secured at all times or if stopped you will face an efty fine! Love the car.
That is correct. Fine and 3 points per dog in the UK 😬

Brilliant pete and WHAT A MOTA perfect although I'm of similar age to you I'd have the silver one to leave you to cruise around in the hooligans version, some people will never have taste 🤣🤣🤣
👍
As a road only car I'd go Touring with a Manual box. If it is going to do some track work then normal GT3 with PDK.
Good plan 👍
Smashing video, regarding parking at supermarkets; my wife was almost tge only car in a carpark and parked well away from the entrance, came out to find someone had parked next to her car and managed to hit the car when opening her door. 🙄
No way 🤷♂️😢
GT3 Touring with the new sport classic rear wing. That’s the change I’d make. Aftermarket but so be it. That’s how I’d do it.
I think the rear wing up in motion ruins the silhouette.
Then option the passenger bucket in the hinged bucket so you can flip it for the back seat access via passenger door loading.
👍
👍
Wicked car for sure Pete !! The sound is epic of course and I’d have the wing too just because 👍🏻🇨🇦🍻
@petrol ped If you had to choose what would you take:
AM Vanquish S Volante
or
GT3 touring.
GT3 Touring 👍
"I'm not sure whether it drives the same way".
Reasons available:
1. Lack of a rear wing, or
2. Atrocious weather.
Hmm, that's a tough one...
Great car and all the more appealing with the manual gearbox, brilliant though the PDK is. The only thing I'm not so keen on is the lack of a rear wing.
👍
Just love your product placement/ supermarket lol
If only they were paying me for it 😂
@@PetrolPed potential then. Lol.
Yes best to be a wing guy - suits West Kirby Morrisons just fine - nice vid Mr G
LOL 😂
@11:53
I'd rather be cut with a scalpel than a steak knife, just sayin' :D Great car, even greater review! Love your channel!
Good Pont 😂
Parked very close to the trolley station there 😱 ...I actually use the same car park and when I was in the store a few years ago having a coffee I heard over the tannoy if the driver of 'reg no' could come to the customer service desk please- it was my reg- so I went ....only to be told that someone had driven into my brand new at the time 2019Leon Cupra. I had parked strategically in a quiet part of the car park but it was for nought!
Noooo 😧
Nice vid Pete. Have a Schnauzer too and he is very happy in the front seat of my 991.1 c4s. Dream car is the Gt3 touring but as you said would need some of the more "daily" options
Schnazuers are the best 👍
wing wing bling. 58 yo and still got the bug. Love the GT3 but for now enjoying a 718 GTS 👍
What a car, still think I’d have the wing though! Loved that format mate, and I loved that jacket Jo was wearing. I like my Boss stuff too!
Wanted to try something different. Jo used to have a Boxster 👍
How did you know she's a screamer? Wink, 😉 😆 🤣 😂
Love Snauzers.
I really don't like those big wings. They look so ungainly. Definitely the comfort seats.
I really like that color and the wheels.
🤔😂
Este tipo es genial, solo por ver la cara de esa srta ya merece la pena ver el video y darle un me gusta 👍.
Respecto al auto; simplemente es el AUTO definitivo.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
With the weather you had with the GT4-RS I thought you might have waited for the snow for this one 😅
Great video Pete, what a car!
I had this the same week 😬
@@PetrolPed What a week!
The 911’s front end is a problem when it comes to kerbs and rises, is because of the length of overhang more than height. 👍
Lift kits definitely make it more manageable but get used to sideways approaches to drives and kerbs etc.
😂
No wing for me. The only 911s I don't mind having the wing is the whale tail of the 80s cars. It flows well with the shape. And I love the automatic spoilers of all the models that come after - the 964 all the way to the 997. My fave. is the 993 RS - not the Clubsport version of the RS. The reason being all these massive wings ruin the lines of the beautiful shape. I can accept the 991 GT3 RS wings as they're not as big and intrusive looking. Just my 2 cents. This Touring is absolutely beautiful. Great video.
Thanks 🙏🏻
The hydraulic wing on touring looks weird. Not pretty. But wing delete on the regular GT3 looks beautiful!!
OMG…that sounds like an amazing spec. Would love to see pictures when it done 👍
@@reginaldhenry3688 ok I now understand, it appears the UK market is very different to the USA unfortunately!
21:13 - 21:16
The expression on Jo's face has got to best the look of any wings. Should have referenced that in your video title.
That'd be no need clickbaits!
😂😂😂
Absolutely superb!
Many thanks!
I agree 👍
Unless you are on incredibly friendly terms (ie you’ve bought a couple Cayennes in white, a few base 718’s they couldn’t shift, one or 2 Taycans & you are the DP’s brother) you ain’t ever getting into a GT car for anything approaching retail. See also certain Ferrari, Rolex, Patek etc…
Yep 😢
Very very interesting video petrol ped As you say in the video it is depending on what you’re going to use it for. I think if you’re going to tour across France down into Germany or go down to the Riviera then I think the GT3 touring is good at that Thank you very much for the video. Thoroughly enjoyed watching it Looking forward to more videos. Thank you
Cheers bud. Hope you are well ? 👍
@@PetrolPed i am brilliant thank you very much
Great video, cool car, I must admit there a very few cars I like that have a wing. So no wing for me...But hey, what do I know
😂😂😂
I have to say, wingless for me. If you're going shopping in a Porsche then it has to be Waitrose ! I used to pop to the supermarket in my F-Type. Have to say there were a couple of occasions where Id come back to find a trolley stuck in the side, not sure it was accidental. Should have gone upmarket!! Not that I could ever afford one, but I think you are right when saying its a shame that its only available to a select few.
👍
A bit late seeing this one.Great vid and a smashing car.Understated without the wing for me please.Pups look good after the trim.
Cheers Alasdair 👍
My favourite car and i'll never have one. Life sucks. To be rich as you is amazing, no problems, no issues, no worries, just happiness. And if you don't have any, you can buy it.
After taking a 992 Turbo s over a five hour run, I think Id have the Turbo s over the 992 GT3 touring/GT3 992. The problem with the GT3 992 on uneven road the car can feel like on country roads that it wants to throw you off the road. Great video btw #ashgood Porsche....and rather have a PDK, manual is just a bit ....well harder work
Turbo S…total weapon 👌👍
I've been lucky enough to have a GT3 and now a Turbo S. If you do mainly track driving take the GT3 but for the UK roads and continental touring the Turbo S is by far the better car.
I prefer the touring, if you don’t get the carbon buckets, do you get tilt-forward seats to access the back?
Yes 👍
Let's be honest... What this channel needs is a 'Jo Screams' playlist. A long one.
I’ll make one for you 👍
Great video Pete! Spread your wings and fly! If one feels self conscious waking up, you don’t take the Porsche, you take the grey Focus😂 (I’ve got one, alongside the GT4RS😉).
Great to hear you can see past the elitism of 911 ownership and choose the GT4RS, as it just next level hooliganism and makes any 911 just plain boring😂
Say YES to the boy-racers in you guys!
GT4RS 🔥
GT4 RS has the engine in the right place 😜😂
Great car - great video. I must say, that this engine is better suited with the PDK. It’s near impossible to play with the full rev-range with manual….
The PDK is very good. I think I’d drive it too fast though. The manual slows you down a bit 😂😂
They are super supportive but not nearly as cool to look at 😬
The difference you're feeling to the sharpness is entirely the tyres.
Could be 👍
Feels more relaxed and chilled because they took some camber out of the fronts…. Or so I read online.
👍
I think the touring with sports seats and use it every day as a road car. I always park my car away from everyone and without fail even if there are empty spaces some muppet parks right next to me!
That’s called Sod’s Law 😂
As Chris Harris said, at speed the bucket seats are amazing, but going through town this GT3’s suspension tosses you around at slow speeds.
I’ve found myself thinking “I wish the more comfortable and daily-driver friendly GTS had that body coloured front end and hood.”
Don’t get me wrong the car is amazing, love it, but if you’re not a track-head and more of a back country road drifter who loves sunny drives through picturesque small towns and villages, you’re better off in a GTS. As epic as the GT3 is, it’s like all those high end ‘off road’ vehicles the market is flooded with, where 90% of them sit in shopping centre parking lots and will never see a muddy/ rocky trail, your GT3 will likely never see a hairpin turn.
My preference No wing. The 80’s 911 whale tail works best.
👍
The touring is the way to go, imho, I love these things.
👍
Great content on the channel really good 👍👍
Thank You 🙏🏻
The tires. It’s the tires. Only difference and yes, it’s based on personal experience and ownership.
Sounds phenomenal, if I could afford one it would be wingless and I definitely wouldn’t be taking it to my local supermarket 😊
😂😂😂
If looks could kill.... Jo should be used to you by now.
Not that it will ever be an issue, but I'd go wingless.
Option 3: dewinged GT3. Looks even better than the touring.
Pete great movie. 2 important questions. Did you notice the 2 for one offer on the salad? 2. Did you scan your loyalty card? Mike (Oakgreen 718 Spyder!!)
LOL. Yes to both 😜😂
