You can find my articles in magazines such as Somerset Studio and Cloth Paper Scissors, spot me teaching in person and online workshops, designing stencils for StencilGirl Products, and sharing the message of O.O.P.S.
What does O.O.P.S. stand for? It stands for Outstanding Opportunities Presenting Suddenly.
Those “failures” and “mistakes” that I had so harshly criticized myself about actually became true gifts as soon as I started saying O.O.P.S. Try saying Oops in an angry tone. It makes it even more silly! I just can’t take myself seriously when I say Oops which is just what I needed to play. I began to play, to have fun, and to embrace all of my “mistakes”.

Love your clear and simple explanation. I am totally hooked on Gelli printing. I like to have a stencil under my roll off paper it leaves lovely patterns for use later. Jo

Thanks for this series, Carolyn. I recently ordered a gel plate, it's massive - they sent me a really big one even though I ordered a smaller one lol. Fun fun fun!

Hi Carolyn! Just subscribed and signed up for your newsletter. Is that a soft or hard brayer that I should use? This is a great 1st video for my new gelli plate I got last night! BTW your art room looks fabulously stocked with great products to play with!

Have fun playing Julie! It's a soft rubber brayer that works best on the gel plate in my experience.

Oh Thank you so much. I'm just about to do my first print! I have both brayers so your timing is perfect. Thanks and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

What I love about Gell printing is that you can use up the "craft" paint, which is still hanging around my studio. I use the better quality artists paints in my journals now!

I would never be able to throw out much less paint over my kid's handwriting. My son is only 21 MONTHS old lol ... I'm a sap though so lol

Just sticking my two cents in...the roller part of the brayer is called a platen. hahaha...there's your P.
