FA-ST She's been obsessed with Rudolf long before then. If we consider the fact that 1986 is the year Ange becomes 6 years old, and Rudolf married Kyrie when she was pregnant with Ange, it would mean that she was married to Rudolf in 1980; the year Battler discarded the Ushiromiya name. 1980-18 years (The time that Asumu was married to Rudolf)= 1962? And Kyrie met Rudolf in college; therefore the years they were in college also are counted; when Kyrie established herself as Rudolf's business partner and drove away her competitors.

That part of the story was the hardest for me to read, I was hoping that if anyone could miraculously survive, it would be Jessica

I'm still mid-way through EP6, but this scene got me thinking... Could it be that each of the Ushiromiya parents / siblings represent a Sin? i.e.:
Kyrie - Envy
Rosa - Wrath
Rudolf - Lust
Eva - Greed
Krauss - Pride
Still not sure about the other 2, maybe Sloth for Natsuhi and Gluttony for Hideyoshi?

That is a never-ending debate in certain forums, but yes the aunts and uncles representing the sins is a popular idea, however most list I see go like this:
Kyrie- Envy
Rudolf- Sloth(Rudolf's whole thing was laziness, pluss the connection with him and Belphagor)
Krauss-Pride
Rosa-Lust(Remember the main reason she saw maria as a burden was because no man ever wanted a woman with a child, she wanted her love life back and she would often bring home other men or boyfriends and leave Maria by herself somewhere in the house, she also longed for her husband but once again she beleived Maria was in the way of that)
Eva-Greed
Hideyoshi- Gluttony
Natsuhi- Wrath (Natsuhi absolutely hated the fact that she could not bear children and that due to not being able to wear the golden Eagle was looked down upon and felt like even her own husband did not trust her or even value her despite the fact that she had given up everything for him. She also hated Eva and the topic of the inheritance and it only fueled her rage even more whenever Eva taunted the fact that she had no place to speak about the affairs of the family.)
That's my theory anyway.
+Rudolf Ushiromiya Natsuhi is pride. And Rosa can be angry even when there is no man behind the scene. Rudolf himself said that Rosa was frightening when she was angry.

For Krauss he's someone too reliant on his status as firstborn son to do all the effort, studying, and personal training Eva put herself through. He keeps putting his hopes and money on get-rich-quick schemes instead of relying on stable, reliable business ventures. Almost all of his actions are about putting off the consequences of his actions (such as the whole dead Kinzo thing) instead of doing something to solve the problem his family is in, right down to going off about Kinzo's gold and the epitaph at some point.
Krauss is the epitome of Sloth. He has affectations of Pride, but that's just his boasting of credit he hasn't earned yet. He puts in the effort to look more successful than his siblings but not enough to actually do it.

SPOILERS BELOW:
4:25 - So interesting what Kyrie is saying here, as it describes exactly what her role was in the miraculous fragments shown by Bernkastel:
- The siblings miraculously solving the epitaph, thus preventing Beatrice/Sayo from carrying out her mass murder plan. And then Kyrie, along with Rudolf, took matters to her own hands and committed the mass murder herself to keep the gold.
- Natsuhi miraculously did not throw Lion off the cliff as a baby and thus Lion grew to be the great successor to Kinzo - only to be shot dead by Kyrie after Beatrice's funeral.
So, let's say Battler came to Bernkastel begging for a miracle that prevented Asumu from dying. The exact same outcome would have ensued.
So even in case tragedy was averted, Kyrie's deliberate actions would ultimately cause tragedy anyway.
Hence Bernkastel saying there would be no miracles. We can thank Kyrie for that.

In that scenario, I don't see Kyrie's mental state getting to the point where she'd commit *direct* murder. Maybe do some schemy stuff to get ahead, but not deranged enough to directly kill for it.
Frikkin awesome! This part and the duel between Kyrie and Leviathan showed how badass Kyrie can be.

I was wondering if you could do all of the Love Trials, not just Jessica's. It's just I don't own the sound novels and I was reading the manga but it doesn't seem like it was translated past the first trial. Since everyone murdered someone else, I was wondering about the second trial and the third, fourth etc. I understand if you don't want to but I thought I'd ask.
Hm hm yes I could, in fact I was thinking of doing that at some point before. But so, you're reading the manga huh? It's great, but as you said, not all of it is translated. And that is the case for EP7 and EP8 as well actually. So at the moment, you simply cannot finish the series through the manga... and it might take a long time until that's possible. I take it you actually want to finish the series, no? You want to see how it all ends right? In which case maybe it'd be best for you to simply get your hands on the visual novel and keep going with that. Besides, even if I were to record and upload the other Love Trials, that still wouldn't be the end of EP6. The main reason I recorded these videos in the first place is just to highlight specific awesome scenes (of course I don't have them all here, Umineko is filled to the brim with awesome scenes after all). Your thoughts about this?

It is the PC version, but it has the UmiTweak patch applied to it. UmiTweak changes the sprites, backgrounds and CGs to their PS3 equivalents. It also adds voice acting to the game.
