Great tutorial! But why does the cloth surface deformation turn off when I add materials to the planes? I just bought & downloaded your scene files from gumroad and the same issue exists in your tutorial working file. Seems like something to do with the "Textures" switch in the Connect tag, but I can't figure it out. Also looks like you had the same problem in your tutorial vid at 20:15 - your planes are flat when applying materials, then you make a hard cut and your planes have the deformation, but you don't explain what changed. Would be great if you could include this detail, since the problem exists in the assets that you have for sale!
thanks so much, just. a quick question, why is it when i add another force object it doesn't work? ie i want the plains to be attracted after this animation
@StepanHKA For some reason, when I get to the texturing stage, I transfer the texture to one of the planes, my fabric simulation disappears, I tried recaching the simulation, tried doing everything from scratch, nothing helps, you have exactly the same problem in the video tutorial, but in moments you take a freeze frame, and behind the scenes you have already fixed this problem, how did you solve it?
Thank you so much Stepan, I hope u continue with this MICROSOFT STYLE
Hi Stepan, could you just post a quick explanation how to fix the bug of the simulation getting lost when applying the materials? thank you so much
thanks for the video @stepan
This made my day. Thanks Stepan! 👏🏼
Thank you that makes me happy
so smooth, and such nice lighting. This is great!
Thank you Jess
@@StepanHKA absolutely!
you rock man! This is what i am looking for. Woah, keep posting nice tuts about motion design with modern techniques.
Thanks a lot for this comment 🙌 It gives me energy 🔥
Love the tut, just in time!!! Just a question - if you pull out the coths from a box - you just add collider tag on the box?
👏Exactly the tutorial I was looking for !
The texturing part helped me a lot.
Awesome, thank you!
Merci beaucoup

Lets connect on Discord if you have we can hop on a call and figure this out:)
did you find solution for this problem?

Awesome tutorial ! Keep them coming
My maaan
respect!
Ha thank you 🙏
Que belleza de trabajo 👊👊👊
Gracias Amigo!
Thank you again, but can you tell me why we needed a cloth surface AND cloth tag? I’m learning from you but want to make sure I’m understanding
Thank you. The reason to get cloth tag with the animation is to get those bending corners similar to real world physics.

i have the same problem - when I add materials to the planes, the cloth simulation effect disappears..! let me know if you find a solution :)
Hey guys seems to be issue with my file too. Do you have time to hop on call ?
Thank you both for pointing this out. I have figured it out and reuploading the fix on Gumroad. This is caused by C4D updates I had same issue as you.
would be nice to know the fix, Im following without the gumroad file and having same issues
@@deiondesigns you need to transfer the cloth tag to the cloner and in the cloth surface link add “connector” first and then cloner
great
Thank you
Awesome! Please translate more of @AFtelinagraphic tutorials. Hard to understand Arabic.
I know right ? I wish he did videos in English 🙏
Nice Video. May I ask how do i get the flex node?
Not sure What you mean about flex Node ?
@@StepanHKA My bad. Totally a typo. I meant 'Flakes' node on thr redshift material. Nvm, I found your video on that material later.
to apply the vertex map tag the object must be editable how did you do it please
What version of Cinema are you running? That could be an issue
@@StepanHKA so what version use? r26,,?
@@StepanHKA sorry R25
@@motiondz2786 That version of Cinema doesnt support the Vertex Map on Procedural Objects
i'm bloqued in Vertex MAps What version of cinema 4d are you using
2023.1.1
You have to convert plane objects to mesh by pressing C
This should allow you to put vertex map on it
@@StepanHKA thank you for your answer but in your tutorial you applied the vertex map on cloth surface without making the plane editable
@@StepanHKA Sorry I was on vacation thank you for taking the time to answer me I like your tutorials
