Bro, it's a speaker excursion. I'm pushing these B&Ws to the limit to show how well made they are. It's like taking a car out on a test track and going as fast as you can too see how well it performs. From this video it shows that these speakers are amazingly well built to be able to handle frequencies this low. I don't actually play my music at this level, ever. I like to listen to jazz, classical, chillwave, and downtempo. And these speakers are perfect for those genres. Still kickin' it
Good video man. I have just purchased a Yamaha 7.1 receiver and i want to get B&W speakers. How come when i play this song i can't hear no bass but my speakers shake like a box of frogs? :P
This could be some Subsonic (which you cant hear). Your Amp maybe has a filter to fix that. Or your speakers arent connected correctly. just interchange the 2 wires of one box and see if theres more bass
@EASTYJAZ34 They did. A speaker can produce any frequency within the audible frequency ranges, but at varying decibel levels. The rated frequency response is a specification of what frequencies a speaker can play safely and within a certain decibel limit. I own 685B's and their lowest spec is 55hz, although they can certainly handle 10-25hz sweeps. Audible? Almost negligible. Can they do it? Yes. Your argument is thus invalid.
hello mate i got a question i have these speakers but no cables or wires for them can you tell me where to buy any from? and do these work on your laptop?
You were really pushing those hard!
Very impressive the 602 woofer can handle this, I have s3 and original dm602 which appears to be the same woofer from s1-s3
